"And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne." "As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children, That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory. "For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye...

Conservatives on social media ridiculed New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ new proposal to combat shoplifting and crime at retail stores throughout the city. The Democrat mayor’s plan, laid out in bullet point format during a local Fox 5 broadcast, included providing "De-escalation training for retail employees," and putting kiosks in stores that connect "would-be thieves" to social service. Twitter users mocked the mayor for his soft, unrealistic plan that seemed no harsher than putting unruly children in a "time out corner," as one described. Others argued that the mayor’s plan would make the city more "dangerous" than it has...

Former President Donald Trump is dominating in the Republican presidential primary and has opened up a massive lead over President Biden in a potential head-to-head matchup, May’s Harvard-Harris survey found. The survey showed Trump completely dominating in the 2024 Republican primary with a majority supporting him in a potentially crowded field.Trump garners 58 percent support, while Gov. By the time Richard Anumene was approved for gender reassignment surgery, he had accumulated a litany of mental health problems his attorney argues should have disqualified him from the procedure. Still, in March 2021, Anumene—who had changed his name to Rika Ila Abbir—underwent a series of operations that left him with what some call only an imitation of female sex organs and a sinking feeling of regret for the now 28-year-old. “At the heart of this is nothing short of an atrocity,” Anumene’s attorney Dan Watkins told The Epoch Times. Watkins is the founder of Declare Truth, a grassroots movement...

Over the years I have had four children, so I have been to a lot of playgrounds. I could write a book on the best and worst playgrounds in south east London. What I have noticed compared to when I had my first child about 13 years ago is that these days, I am often the only mother in the playground. When I had my eldest, there were lots of mums, dads and childminders with their little charges clambering up steps and zooming down slides, but now I am usually on my own. It’s just me and the little lad....

Austin's ranking on a list of best places to live in the United States has dropped for the third consecutive year. The capital of Texas ranked No. 40 of 150 cities on U.S. News & World Report's "Best Places to Live in the USA" list for 2023-2024, which was released this week. Austin ranked No. 1 on the list from 2017 to 2019. It dropped out of the top 10 for the first time last year as the city's growth made it more expensive and increasingly prone to violent crime and homelessness.

Over the past few decades, scientists have made incredible progress in understanding and manipulating biological systems at increasingly small scales, from protein folding to genetic engineering. And yet, the extent to which quantum effects influence living systems remains barely understood...Quantum effects are phenomena that occur between atoms and molecules that can't be explained by classical physics...Instead, tiny objects behave according to a different set of laws known as quantum mechanics.

Governor Kathy Hochul, while appearing in Buffalo Friday, said there are more than 71,000 migrants and asylum seekers coming from the southern border into New York State now that Title 42 has ended. During a debate on a bill to ban sex change procedures for minors in Nebraska, Democrat Senator Machaela Cavanaugh took to the stage and began shouting her support for transgender people. The Senator repeatedly shouted: "Transgender people belong here, we need trans people, we love trans people." "You matter. You matter and I am fighting for you. I will not stop," Cavanaugh added, "I will not stop today, I will not stop tomorrow. You are loved. You matter. You belong here." The bill, which was eventually approved, was presented by Republican Gov. Jim Pillen. The bill bans sex change procedures...

I have repeatedly noticed that articles posted on freerepublic are seldom seen in search engine results. When I have searched for article I post on Gun Watch, which is a small blog, the Gun Watch articles appear in search engines. When the identical article is posted on Freerepublic, it does not show up on search engines, unless the search term freerepublic is specifically included. Freerepublic has a much greater circulation than Gun Watch. Has anyone else seen evidence the search engines undervalue freerepublic?

The Sino-Vatican Pact fails again: an appeal from the Catholic Church in ChinaThis has been written by a Chinese Catholic, to whom we have for obvious reasons granted anonymity. The translation of Bishop Shen Bin from the Diocese of Haimen to the nearby diocese of Shanghai on 4th April 2023 marks the failure of the secret Sino-Vatican agreement of 2018. Diocesan priests in Shanghai are mostly reluctant to accept Bishop Shen Bin as the bishop of Shanghai, and it seems difficult for Bishop Shen to execute his governance such as transferring the priests among parishes. The appointment was made, without the...

There was a young woman who had been diagnosed with a terminal illness and had been given three months to live. So as she was getting her things 'in order,' she contacted her Pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. > > She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and w hat outfit she wanted to be buried in. > > Everything was in order and the Pastor was preparing to leave when the young woman suddenly remembered something very important...

Out-of-control crime in the Democrat-run city of Seattle forced the United States Postal Service (USPS) to pause deliveries to an entire zip code for a week. Around 900 residents in the 98118 zip code did not receive their mail as delivery services were halted due to mail theft and 'equipment security concerns'. They were told to pick up their mail from the local post office and stood in long queues of up to an hour while delivery services were paused for a week before UPS lifted the ban on Tuesday. Thieves had stolen a master key which is used by...

Actors warned John Cleese that his Life of Brian stage show should not include a scene about a man wanting to be a woman and have a baby, the comedian has said. The Monty Python star is working on a stage production of the troupe’s 1979 comedy film, The Life of Brian, which parodies the Messianic message of the New Testament. In the film version, a character named Stan explains that he wants to be a woman called Loretta and “have babies”, before being told by Cleese’s character Reg that this was impossible. This exchange reportedly met with opposition from...

Shares of U.S. regional lenders fell on Friday after CNN reported that U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen told bank chief executives that more mergers may be necessary following a series of bank failures. In Alpena Township, Michigan, 13-year-old Owen Burns thwarted the attempted kidnapping of his 8-year-old sister by using a slingshot to scare off the 17-year-old assailant. After being hit in the head and chest with pellets launched from the slingshot the would-be kidnapper ran away. Presidential Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre cited this incident as "proof that the President's plan to outlaw AR-15 type rifles would not leave potential victims without recourse if they are attacked by criminals. If a teenage boy can do the job with just a slingshot there's no telling what a fully grown adult could do." "As this...

John Kerry claimed that US farm confiscations are not off the table, as he stated that small farms contribute a significant amount of greenhouse gasses. If you recall, farmers in Holland are undergoing the most radical regulations that are actually causing culling of herds, and destruction of crops. Following the plans of the World Economic Forum and the United Nations have produced a disaster of major proportions. We do not want that evil plan here

Democrats, Biden will be as he was in 2020, but Trump will be as he was in 2016 and you should be worried. My prediction is, that as bad as he is in the polls, Democrats will circle the wagons around Biden and Kamala Harris. They and their sycophantic press will cancel any pretenders to the Throne in the White House. And being fully to the LGBTQ Left, the press and the Party will forgive their tack to the middle; to fool the country as they always do at election time. Trump, on the other hand will be faced with...
