Three in five Americans now say inflation is causing them financial hardship, an increase from the end of last year despite inflation falling in recent months, according to a new poll. A Gallup poll released Thursday showed 61 percent of respondents said recent price increases have caused severe or moderate financial hardship, 6 points higher than the level in November. Pittsburgh police are investigating a home invasion and shooting in the 7500 block of Bennett Street in the city's Homewood neighborhood. A source tells Pittsburgh's Action News 4 reporter Marcie Cipriani that a homeowner fired a gun at two intruders, one of whom was shot and the other fled.
