The Federal government in Washington DC is broken beyond repair. Politicians get elected by promising free or cheap things, so they keep delivering the bacon. Or pork to political donors. The top 1% get massive payoffs (like green energy subsidies or bank bailouts), the bottom 99% get out of control entitlements like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. And other unsustainable entitlements. In fact, student loans are now an entitlement since some voters will vote for the corrupt politician (no, Joe Biden isn’t the only corrupt politician in Washington DC) who will forgive their student loans. In fact, we now have...

KYIV, Ukraine — The Ukrainian military has spent nearly 15 months exceeding the world’s expectations. Now, senior leaders are trying to lower those hopes, fearing that the outcome of an imminent counteroffensive aimed at turning the tide of the war with Russia may not live up to the hype. “The expectation from our counteroffensive campaign is overestimated in the world,” Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said in an interview this past week. “Most people are … waiting for something huge,” he added, which he fears may lead to “emotional disappointment.” The planned counterattack — made possible by donated Western weapons...

Various statements and rumors reached town yesterday and last night that the general engagement which raged through Sunday between the main Union and rebel armies near Chancellorsville had, after the pause of Monday, been removed on Tuesday morning, and was continued throughout the greater part of the day. It seems to be more than probable that this was the case; but the same difficulty has prevailed in regard to getting news of that day's engagement that has existed in regard to the previous days; and we have received nothing definite as to the character or results of the day's operations....

Beth and Les Bogar of West Chesterfield, New Hampshire, spent over a year planning their trip of a lifetime to Bali. The globe-trotting couple was thrilled to be able to end their trip was a memorable experience getting up close with elephants at the Mason Elephant Park & Lodge. "It was a vacation that I was dreaming about, and it did come to a screaming halt at the very end," said Beth Bogar. However, their dream trip took an abrupt turn, after Beth said she was hurt during a photo opportunity with an elephant. She had just finished swimming with...

Video shows a Russian T-72B3 tank from its Western Military District thundering through the mud with an overhead metal screen, widely termed “cope cage” by Ukrainian troops, with an added layer of what appear to be Kontakt-1 explosive reactive armor (ERA) bricks on top. The full video from the Russian Ministry of Defense showed the tank providing drone-corrected indirect fire using its 125mm cannon at high elevation. It nearly takes out the drone filming its attack with overpressure from the gun. https://twitter.com/RALee85/status/1654930572463026179 (Russian MOD Screencap) Cope cages began appearing on Russian armored vehicles in late 2021 amid the pre-war buildup...

Everything about Neely’s death is a symptom of our collective rot—from the way we treat poverty as a crime to the way we treat soldiers as weapons that can be stowed.

A frantic dad who rushed to the scene of the Saturday mass shooting at a Texas mall that left nine people dead, including the unidentified gunman, and injured seven recounted the horrors of losing three victims he had tried to save — and finding a blood-soaked child who survived the massacre by taking shelter underneath his slain mother… …”The first girl I walked up to was crouched down covering her head in the bushes, so I felt for a pulse, pulled her head to the side and she had no face.” Spainhouer then discovered a child who survived the massacre...

Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (King James Version) Democrat icon Naomi Wolfe besides being the rare beautiful Dem woman has been doing exhaustive research with her group Daily Clout with over a thousand people researching the Pfizer report released by the gummit and has found some terrifying findings. She believes the resignation of CDC Director Rochelle Walensky who was caught, about the safety of the vax for pregnant women is more coverup about the vax dangers. If the Pfizer report...

Shortly after President Joe Biden offered tax credits to anyone buying solar panels, a Colorado homeowner named Stacie took out loans to install $30,000 worth of panels on her roof. Nearly six months later, however, those panels sat unused, generating no power. The problem seemed to have a simple fix: Stacie's energy provider merely needed to hook the panels up to its power grid—but there's no room. Increased demand driven by Biden's green subsidies, combined with inadequate power grid capacity, has left thousands of green energy projects like Stacie's without power, rendering them useless. "When you put out $30,000, you...

Pray For The Peace of JerusalemLuke 6 Love for Enemies 27 “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29 If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. 30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you. 32...

APR 26, 2023 GENERAL NEWS Spearheaded by the Springfield Township Environmental Advisory Commission, the Board of Commissioners have approved a pilot program for No Mow May for up to 25 residences in the Township. Mowing your lawn less helps to increase the abundance and diversity of wildlife, including bees and other pollinators. By participating in No Mow May, residents can let grass grow uncut for the entire month, allowing a habitat to form for early season pollinators. This is particularly important in urban and suburban areas where floral resources are often limited. In addition to benefiting pollinators, reducing mowing frequency...

California task force OKs reparations plan that could cost state $800B California’s reparations task force voted in favor of multiple recommendations Saturday that could cut a minimum of $360,000 in checks to its eligible black residents. The nine-member committee gave final approval at a meeting in Oakland to a hefty list of proposals aimed at rectifying racial inequalities across the state. “Reparations are not only morally justifiable, but they have the potential to address long standing racial disparities and inequalities,” Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) said during the meeting. The panel’s first vote approved a detailed account of historical discrimination against...

Its tech industries are still booming. It is the financial hub for the whole of California, with the state now the fifth largest economy in the world. And it is home to some of the world’s biggest companies. Add it all up, and San Francisco should be one of the best retail centres globally; an easy place to sell every kind of luxury good, fashion essentials and high end electronics. The money is there, as well as the people to spend it. Yet this week, the department store Nordstrom announced it was shutting its locations in the city, joining a...

You may have heard: The NRA leadership is in the middle of significant legal problems. It appears to be true, with severely biased, politically motivated prosecutors going after the NRA. An obvious reason is: the NRA was once a very effective political organization. It has also been a very effective fundraising organization. Many believe the funds have not been spent wisely. The NRA leadership has not helped with what appears to be significant favoritism, cutting legal corners, lack of transparency, and a reluctance to allow any but a tiny few to see the books on who gets what for what....

Another act to subdue an aggressive mentally ill man leads to another George Floyd media-leftist whitewash of the perpetrator and this time, I think it will not work.Don Surber says it well: “Democrats turned subways into hell and now give good citizens the choice between being the victim of a lunatic who kills them or a lunatic justice system that punishes anyone who stands up to the psychos."It’s called anarcho-tyranny.“ Let’s review the comparison. Jordan Neely had a long criminal record -- 42 arrests. He threatened passengers who made several 911 calls without a response. His record showed he was...

By Matthew Boose May 6, 2023 Arguably, the greatest indictment of leftism is its preference for the vagrant and the criminal over the law-abiding citizen and victim. In politics, there are all kinds of disagreements about the role and scope of the state, but the one thing the state must do is protect the innocent. Without security, there is anarchy. And where there is anarchy, the state can command neither legitimacy nor respect. Yet racial idolaters on the Left have pushed society to forgo basic expectations of public order and civilized conduct. Demanding anything more than day-to-day chaos would be...

Bridgerton actress Adjoa Andoh left her ITV co-stars stunned yesterday when she referred to the Buckingham Palace balcony as being 'terribly white' during their live Coronation coverage. The star, whose father was of Ghanaian origin, was commentating for the network on their programme hosted by Tom Bradby and Julie Etchingham when she said of the event: 'We have gone from the rich diversity of the Abbey to a terribly white balcony. 'I am very struck by that. 'I am also looking at those younger generations and thinking: "What are the nuances that they will inhabit when they grow?" Ms Andoh,...
