PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) — Three teenagers have been arrested for a shooting that happened Tuesday morning, leaving a man dead in a west Phoenix neighborhood. On March 14, police responded to a shooting around 1:30 a.m. at a residence near 29th Avenue and West Moreland Street. At the house, they found a man identified as 26-year-old Manuel Hinojos and a teenage male — initially reported as two men — suffering from apparent gunshots. Both were taken to a local hospital, but Hinojo did not survive his injuries. The teen survived, but his current condition is unknown. Officers, while at the...

A coalition of midsize U.S. banks, Mid-Size Bank Coalition of America (MBCA), has asked regulators to extend FDIC insurance to all deposits for the next two years, Bloomberg News reported on Saturday citing an MBCA letter to regulators. The letter argued that extending insurance will immediately stop the exodus of deposits from smaller banks, which in turn will stabilize the banking sector and restore confidence in banking system, the report said. The collapse of Silicon Valley Bank, which held a high number of uninsured deposits beyond the FDIC guaranteed limit, prompted customers to move their money to bigger banks and...

Chinese authorities arrested two men who possessed a children’s book that officials labeled "seditious." Police and customs officers arrested the men, aged 38 and 50, on Mar. 13 after searching their homes and finding multiple copies of the book, which describes sheep holding back wolves from the village. The wolves want to take over a village and eat the sheep, pushing the sheep to fight back against them. Authorities have interpreted the book as referring to Hong Kong and Beijing. Officers relied on a colonial-era law to justify sending the men to prison, according to QZ. Both men were released...

For some reason, Democrats have latched on to the issue of transgenderism, especially with children. They seem absolutely determined to make this common, no matter how much the public objects to it.It’s not even enough for them to just allow the issue to sort itself out among the people, they clearly want to use the power of government to force it on the public.FOX News reports:Dr. Rachel Levine says changing kids’ genders will soon be fully embraced: ‘Wheels will turn on this’Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Rachel Levine promised that medically changing...

PORT ROYAL, Friday, March 13, 1863. The immense preparations for the coming event which is now attracting the eyes of the whole country--both of patriots and rebels--to this department are almost completed, at least as far as the army is concerned, and the signal from Admiral DUPONT is all that is required to inaugurate a movement. When that signal will be made I cannot guess any better than any one else, and I shall not attempt to say. We expected that the land forces would embark as long ago as the first week in February, and we have continued to...

Corrupt New York City District Attorney Alvin Bragg received $1 million from Soros in his election for NYC DA. Following his successful election, New York City saw a rise in crime from 2021 to 2022. The overall index crime in New York City increased in September 2022, by 15.2% compared with September 2021. Now the corrupt Soros-funded DA is going after President Donald Trump. And he is using Stormy Daniels as his means to attack the former president. ....Snip..... On Saturday Alvin Bragg sent an email to members in his office regarding the arrest of the President of the United...

Soon after a train derailed and spilled toxic chemicals in Ohio last month, anonymous pro-Russian accounts started spreading misleading claims and anti-American propaganda about it on Twitter, using Elon Musk’s new verification system to expand their reach while creating the illusion of credibility. The accounts, which parroted Kremlin talking points on myriad topics, claimed without evidence that authorities in Ohio were lying about the true impact of the chemical spill. The accounts spread fearmongering posts that preyed on legitimate concerns about pollution and health effects and compared the response to the derailment with America’s support for Ukraine following its invasion...

Its Gov’t Gone Wild! Insane spending budget by “Sloppy Joe” Biden, Yellen asking Warren Buffet for banking advice (seriously??), a war in Ukraine that America doesn’t seem to actually want to win, etc. But its the banking system where banks are getting crushed by rising inflation and interest rates (but failed to hedge). Sigh. As I always told my investments and fixe-income students at University of Chicago, Ohio State University and George Mason University, a 10 basis point change in the 2-year and 10-year US Treasury yield is a big deal. This morning, the US Treasury 2-year yield fell -32...

Donald Trump has called for protests for his impending arrest by fanatical zealot prosecutors in New York, even though many people have said the prosecutors have no case, and even though this unprecedented act has more in common with corrupt Latin-American governments than it does with the America I once knew. I've seen a lot of people who are not willing to protest this heinous act, because they have successfully been intimidated by the FBI locating and prosecuting certain January 6 protestors. Their attempted intimidation should dissuade us, or even slow us down. Remember, they simply cannot arrest us all....

In the hours after some of Silicon Valley Bank’s biggest customers started pulling out their money, a WhatsApp group of startup founders who are immigrants of color ballooned to more than 1,000 members. Questions flowed as the bank’s financial status worsened. Some desperately sought advice: Could they open an account at a larger bank without a Social Security Number? Others questioned whether they had to physically be at a bank to open an account, because they’re visiting parents overseas. One clear theme emerged: a deep concern about the broader impact on startups led by people of color. While Wall Street...

Trump to be arrested? Don't go out and protest. There are other, safer, more constructive things you can do. President Trump has stated that he will be arrested on Tuesday and we should all take to the streets. Don't do it! Stay home, and let the lawyers handle it. This is a set-up, just like January 6. Don't fall for it. Don't go anywhere near a federal building, don't stand with groups of people you don't know, and don't send threatening emails. Stay home, and let the lawyers deal with it. President Trump has good lawyers, he has great lawyers...he...

For the first time in the state’s history, Republicans have a supermajority in Louisiana. Republicans now have a 70-vote supermajority and can override a veto by the state’s Democrat governor John Bel Edwards. On Friday, the longest-serving Democrat in the Louisiana state legislature Rep. Francis Thompson announced he was switching parties. Thompson has served in the legislature since 1975. This action by Thompson doesn’t come as much of a surprise as his voting record shows that the had been caucusing with the Republicans. Thompson gave a statement after announcing the switch, “Let me clear. Nothing has changed, there are values...

EXCLUSIVE: Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was "taking the Chinese position" on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine when the potential Republican 2024 contender called the war a "territorial dispute." During an interview with Fox News Digital on Friday, the South Carolina lawmaker and military veteran was asked whether he was concerned about the current front-runners for the GOP presidential nomination — DeSantis, who is expected to announce a White House bid, and former President Donald Trump, who already has — both having a more skeptical position of the current level of U.S. aid to Ukraine than more...

Admired for its large black tufted ears, long legs, distinct facial markings, and reddish-tan coats, the caracal is a medium-sized wild cat native to Africa and Central Asia and therefore is considered exotic in the United States. As such, keeping one as a pet in each state will have different rules for pet lovers that want to own a special cat. As of January 2023, only a few American States have no laws that regulate the ownership of Caracals.

Pray For The Peace of JerusalemMark 11 Jesus Comes to Jerusalem as King11 As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and just as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. 3 If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly.’”4 They went and found a colt outside in...

The communist thugs controlling America's legal system have chosen to cross the Rubicon, it seems. President Trump says he will be arrested Tuesday now that New York City's corrupt, Soros-funded district attorney has cooked up some cockamamie criminal indictment against him involving Stormy Daniels — the same political pawn who was already ordered to pay the president 300,000 dollars in legal fees as restitution in a prior case. If anyone needed further evidence that we reside under a post-constitutional Uniparty regime with utter disdain for the rule of law, add this to the long list of government crimes and usurpations...

Disgraced pop star Gary Glitter reportedly had a £15,000 ($18k) knee operation in an NHS hospital - as hundreds of patients face a four-month wait for the same procedure. The convicted paedophile, 78, is understood to have been given his own room protected by prison staff at Dorset County Hospital in November last year. Glitter is said to have left NHS staff feeling disgusted with gruesome stories about his offending and his 'pervy' antics in the hospital. He spent five nights at the hospital, where he is said to have been handcuffed to a bed and had two guards around...

The next logical step is for the government to insure all bank deposits, which is tantamount to nationalizing the entire banking system. But to what end? A collection of seemingly random crises can spell out a sinister “conspiracy theory” when you consider their connections and where they are leading. An overplayed plot? Perhaps, but how many so-called conspiracy theories have proven to be reality recently? First, the world economy shut down with the COVID lockdown. Manufacturing stopped and capital construction projects were put on hold. No one was making anything, and consumers were buying very little. The government injected huge...
