VIDEOOne of the fringe benefits of watching the Brian Craig Show on YouTube is hearing the comments that Brian, co-host of the Steve Kane Radio Show, makes during the commercial breaks. One such time was today when Brian read a joke that I texted him that was deemed too spicy to go over the airwaves.BTW, I sort of get a nice high whenever I am in joke writing mode. When I lived in La-La Land I used to write jokes for comedians and quite a few of the jokes that you would read in Hustler back then were written by...

A Loyola University professor is claiming that organized pantries are rooted in “racist and sexist social structures,” and that the new so-called “pantry porn” trend, in which people show off their “neatly aligned glass spice jars tagged with printed white labels” and “wicker baskets filled with packages of pasta, crackers and snacks,” has become a status symbol for white women. Associate professor Jenna Drenten wrote an op-ed for the website, the Conversation, in which she reacted to what she calls “pantry porn,” a phenomenon where “obsessively organized kitchens” have become “a new status symbol” on social media.

The idea of a kid suing their parents might seem kind of crazy and depending on which culture you come from, pretty darn ungrateful. After all, they were the people who brought you into this world and presumably fed you, clothed you, housed you, and raised you. Of course, it could also be argued that if your kid grows up to want to sue you, it's probably a result of one of three things: you either did a crumby job raising them, they got influenced by some type of external groups of people/ideologies that turned them into scumbags, or, you...

Dear FRiends, We only have two weeks left to go and we're running behind. We are currently at $55K which is far short of our goal. We have approximately $6k left to go in monthlies and possibly another $2k in mail-in checks. This would get us to approximately $63k. Please get your donations in and let's get 'er done! Thank you all very much for your continued support, and...

Apparently, the only thing that is strong in the US economy is low-paying jobs. The economy as a whole is sucking wind as we can see with the Conference Board’s Leading Indictors plunging -6.5% Year-over-year (YoY) in February. US consumer sentiment fell again … and has not been near 100 (baseline) since Covid struck. And on the fears that the banking system is not well, the S&P 500 index is down -1.1% this morning.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this article misidentified the director of State Energy HK as Lei Donghui. Lei is the director of a subsidiary of State Energy HK, and was not director during the time of the transaction. Eighteen years ago, I published an article in the Stanford Law Review which documented for the first time the enormous breadth and scale of race-based admissions preferences in law schools. At most law schools, the undergraduate grades (UGPA) and median LSAT scores of enrolled Black students were two standard deviations below those of white students at the same school. Outside of a handful of “Historically Black” institutions (where racial preferences were minimal), Blacks in law school were not faring well. They were failing out of school at more than twice the white rate; half of those who did graduate had...
