Both Taibbi and Schellenberger are progressive Democrats who voted for Joe Biden. Yet, because they hold the First Amendment and truth as a higher standard than political agendas and...

When I was a child in the 1970s, we were constantly being scared by mainstream news sources about the upcoming ice age that was being predicted. It was absolutely terrifying.Fortunately, the predicted ice age never came. The global warming that we are experiencing today is far preferable to the upcoming ice age that was being predicted by every mainstream news source in the 1970s.I am so, so very glad that those predictions did not come true. Here are some examples of those predictions:New York Times, February 23, 1969: “Worrying About a New Ice Age”https://web.archive.org/web/20190925033108/https://www.nytimes.com/1969/02/23/archives/science-worrying-about-a-new-ice-age.htmlWashington Post, January 11, 1970: “Colder Winters Held Dawn of...

[Catholic Caucus] Rome’s Persecution of the Traditional Latin Mass is the Most Important Sign in the World TodayAs Michael Matt highlighted in his recent Remnant Underground, tyrannical governments have occasionally banned the Traditional Latin Mass because they have hated the immutable Catholic Faith it embodies. The Church has always presented for our imitation the saintly examples of those Catholics who have risked their liberty, and even lives, to preserve the Mass in the face of such persecution. Today, however, those purporting to be the Catholic hierarchy in Rome have given us an unmistakable sign of the diabolically disoriented times: they...
