Patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (high blood pressure in the arteries that supply the lungs, also called PAH) had approximately double the reduction in pulmonary vascular resistance (PVR) if they took the PAH medications macitentan (10 mg) and tadalafil (40 mg) together in a single tablet rather than either drug alone, according to research. Macitentan and tadalafil are among several drugs approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of PAH. Guidelines and previous studies suggest that using two or more agents to treat PAH can bring extra benefits. In the portion of the study that compared...

Tucker Carlson did an interview with Glenn Beck on Wednesday, going into more detail about the Jan. 6 video footage that he had been covering. We reported on some of that video footage on the first here and here. Among the things he addressed in the interview was the question of the “QAnon Shaman” Jacob Chansley. Beck said that a Capitol Police official had remarked that in some situations on that day, the police tried to de-escalate with some of the protesters. Carlson said they likely did but he said that didn’t seem to truly explain the situation with Chansley...

A resolution sponsored by Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) to withdraw American troops from Syria failed on Wednesday, although it did garner significant Republican and Democrat support. The House voted on H.Con. Res. 21, which, if passed, would direct President Joe Biden to remove American armed forces from Syria within 180 days of the bill’s enactment.Since the bill was a War Powers Act resolution, the House had to vote on the bill. The bill, however, failed on Wednesday night, with 103 lawmakers in favor and 321 lawmakers against. Forty-seven Republicans and 56 Democrats voted in favor of the bill.Gaetz said in a...

Wiconsin Republican Sen. Ron Johnson is leading a legislative effort to limit President Joe Biden's ability to unilaterally negotiate agreements with the World Health Organization and he anticipates bipartisan support. "So my bill is pretty simple," he said on the "Just the News, No Noise" television show. "It just says any agreement that the Biden administration enters into with the World Health Organization will be deemed a treaty, and will need to come before the Senate to be ratified by two-thirds of the body." He added that the majority of Republicans in the upper chamber were already on board. "I've...

At this point, one has to believe the Biden team and the Democrats have absolutely no conscience and don’t care what they lie about. They know they are going to be able to buffalo some people and they don’t care. But their lies about Jan. 6 are just shameless at this point, designed to deceive. They cannot be allowed to pass.We saw Attorney General Merrick Garland talk about what happened “that day,” then saying “five officers died.”That is completely untrue. No officers died that day, not one was killed. But what’s shameful is that even now, more than two years...

A former student of a Long Island teacher accused of forcing a fifth-grade girl to go by male pronouns has claimed she once called his entire class “sexist little children” because they were only playing with classmates of the same gender. The unnamed student alleged during a contentious school board meeting Monday night that the teacher, Debra Rosenquist, made the remark when he was in her fifth-grade class at Terryville Road Elementary School in Port Jefferson Station. “One time, I think there were boys in the class and girls in the class and they were hanging out with each other,”...

Nearly four years after the now-discredited Russia collusion probe was formally closed, the Justice Department has released heavily redacted memos showing the FBI initially considered resolving concerns about Moscow targeting Donald Trump's campaign by simply giving the GOP presidential nominee a defensive briefing back in 2016. The information was contained in a new release of documents in a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit brought by the conservative group Citizens United, which sought the interviews conducted by the Justice Department inspector general of key players involved in the Russia probe, including former DOJ official Bruce Ohr's wife and former Obama Attorney...

Researchers have discovered that an ancient gold disc found in southern Denmark includes the earliest written reference to the Norse god Odin, revealing that he was worshiped up to 150 years earlier than previously thought, according to a report. The piece of jewelry — which dates to the 400s AD — was uncovered in Vindelev in central Denmark in 2020 amidst a treasure trove that included Roman coins. For years it was publicly displayed at a museum near the site before academics had the opportunity to study it, according to NBC News. A runic inscription with a reference to Odin,...

The liberal Washington Post is deeply upset that Conservatives and Libertarians are standing in the way of future pandemic lockdowns. This is an excellent reminder that the liberal media gleefully supported shutting down the United States during COVID and would absolutely love to see it happen again. If Conservatives and Libertarians are standing in the way, they deserve our thanks and admiration. FOX News reports: Washington Post torched on Twitter after complaining health officials have limited powers: ‘Medical fascism’ A new Washington Post report slammed “conservatives and libertarians” on Wednesday for working to legally block future pandemic lockdowns and other...

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) has signed a Democrat-approved bill into law that will give driver’s licenses to potentially 77,000 eligible illegal aliens. In January and February, Democrats in the Minnesota state house and senate approved the bill to eliminate the legal residency requirement for obtaining a driver’s license in the state. Instead, illegal aliens would be able to secure licenses to legally drive vehicles. This week, Walz signed the legislation, claiming giving driver’s licenses to illegal aliens “will make our communities safer for all Minnesotans.”

Tucker Carlson showed how the anti-Trump battalions had lied about January 6. Liz Cheney and her Kangaroo Court lied about what happened. So did Nancy Pelosi and the regime media. Jacob Chansley, the behorned and painted veteran who became the face of the protest because of his outlandish getup, was not a violent insurrectionist. He was a mannerly protestor who prayed publicly in the Capitol and was politely escorted through its halls by several Capitol police officers. Why, many people will wonder, has he been sentenced to five years in jail? Schumer and the media charged that Carlson “sanitized” what...

Did you know that a journalist who provides greater transparency (against the will of the self-proclaimed “most transparent administration ever”) is helping to spread lies? In the head of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, who has been freaking out ever since Tucker Carlson started releasing some January 6th surveillance footage that the J6 committee for some reason didn’t think was important, Fox News has helped propagate “Trump’s Big Lie™”: Speaker McCarthy has held the gavel for less than three months. But by sharing the January 6th security footage with Fox News, he has already done more than any party leader...

Traditional Latin Mass: the latest pawn in the Vatican chess game Vatican politics is beginning to look a little like a chess game. White against black. A battle between those who love the Church through the ages against those who want to see her confined to modernity. The game is of course between tradition and modernity, which is odd because on those occasions when people ask “why become Catholic?” one of the stock answers given is “in order to be healed from a form of ecclesial Alzheimer’s, and reclaim the memory of where the Holy Spirit has guided the Church...
