Ukrainian President Voldymyr Zelensky is pushing for more security assistance from the U.S. and western allies as his troops face an immense assault from Russian forces in the embattled town of Bakhmut.
In an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that aired Wednesday night, Zelensky renewed a plea for the Biden administration to supply F-16 fighter jets as Ukraine struggles to fend off repeated Russian missile strikes on critical infrastructure.

With the number of leading Democrats who have been paying short visits to Ukraine, which seems to me obviously to pick up their kickbacks in person to avoid a digital trail, not one red cent from American taxpayers should be going there. Enough is enough of this in-your-face corruption.
If your country were at war, you would be out doing the same (OK, any country but the US). Wars are not a time for false pride.

I don’t know why they are asking for F16s. It’s a great airplane but If they really wanted to kick Russia’s ass they would be clamoring for A-10s.
The Blob in Washington won’t allow Ukraine to be a lost cause. They have staked the USA’s and NATO’s reputation on winning in Ukraine, which they define as retaking all territory including Crimea, toppling Putin, humiliating Russia and breaking it up.
