According to the March 5 U.K. Defense Ministry's intelligence update, Russian soldiers are forced into hand-and-hand combat due to lack of ammunition. The reservists were thus ordered by the Russian Command to assault a Ukrainian concrete strong point with only “firearms and shovels.” “The lethality of the standard-issue MPL-50 entrenching tool is particularly mythologized in Russia. Little changed since it was designed in 1869, its continued use as a weapon highlights the brutal and low-tech fighting which has come to characterize much of the war,” the report states. The U.K. Defense Ministry also commented that one of the reservists described...

VIDEOIf you are ever playing poker with FBI Director Christopher Wray and he makes a head shake after placing a big bet, that is a probably a good time to go all in against him even if you are not holding an optimal hand. Why? As you can see in this video of Wray's recent interview with Brett Baier, he sometimes uses that lie tell while answering questions. In fact he used it twice in a row in this clip. It is the same head shake lie tell that you also see Wray frequently use when answering questions on Capitol...

Heart be still, there are signs Democrats are finally getting the message that voters are sick to death of crime. Make that some Democrats. A brouhaha is brewing on at least three fronts, and the good news is that the White House is on the right side this time. President Biden stunned many in his own party by supporting a Republican-led House bill to overrule a nutty plan in Washington, DC, to reduce penalties for homicides, carjacking, and other violent crimes in the nation’s capital.

Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigeg lashed out at critics on Sunday, calling Fox News’ Tucker Carlson — born and raised in California — a member of the “East Coast elite” who did not understand the working class. Buttigieg has come under fire lately for his mishandling of a toxic trail derailment in East Palestine, Ohio. He has also been slammed for being on unannounced parental leave during the cargo crisis of 2021, and for being on vacation in Portugal last year as a rail strike loomed — while pretending that he was still in the country.

The Los Angeles Times reported: On Saturday, desperate San Bernardino County residents were wondering when National Guard...

Harry admitted he’d used psychedelic drugs to relax and previously took cocaine for a “sense of belonging”The Duke of Sussex was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder by a trauma expert during an interview. Hungarian-Canadian physician Dr Gabor Maté said he came to the conclusion after reading Harry’s explosive memoir Spare. He told the Duke: "Reading the book I diagnose you with ADD, I see it as a normal response to normal stress, not a disease." Harry joked after the diagnosis: "Thanks for the free session." Video at https://twitter.com/redvoicenews/status/1632144616547057664Senator Bernie Sanders is a self-proclaimed “Demonic Socialist”… or “Democratic Socialist,” as he prefers to say. But no matter what evil qualifier you put in front of the word, it all still means he’s a socialist. Or is he? On Friday night’s Bill Maher show, Sanders seemed to say something that runs completely contrary to one of the most basic tenets of socialism. He said he prefers “equality” over “equity.” And in case anyone thinks he may have misspoke or misunderstood the question, he defined equality as pertaining to opportunity, then acknowledged that equity is about results.

The Russian army is welding 80-year-old gun mounts, originally built to arm patrol boats, onto 70-year-old armored tractors—and sending them to Ukraine to get captured by the Ukrainian army. The up-gunned, tracked MT-LBs are further evidence of the Kremlin’s worsening equipment crisis as it struggles to make good its losses in Ukraine. Which is why the Kremlin is pulling out of long-term storage hundreds of 50-year-old T-62 tanks, 60-year-old BMP-1 fighting vehicles and 70-year-old BTR-50P armored tractors. These awkwardly up-gunned MT-LBs just further underscore the Russians’ growing desperation.

President Joe Biden is set to pay tribute to the heroes of “Bloody Sunday,” joining thousands for the annual commemoration of the seminal moment in the civil rights movement that led to passage of landmark voting rights legislation nearly 60 years ago. The visit to Selma, Alabama, on Sunday also is an opportunity for Biden to speak directly to the current generation of civil rights activists. Many feel dejected because Biden has been unable to make good on a campaign pledge to bolster voting rights and are eager to see his administration keep the issue in the spotlight. Biden intends...

“The Government of Cuba and The Ocean Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today,” announced The Ocean Foundation last week, “one that marks the first time the Government of Cuba has signed a MoU with a non-governmental organization in the United States. ..The MoU draws on over thirty years of collaborative ocean science and policy work between the organization and Cuban marine research institutions and conservation agencies.” A prime example of that “cooperation” was a CBS "60 Minutes" program back in December of 2011 featuring another in its long line of joint CBS-Castro productions. On that program, Anderson Cooper...

(Daily readings from the USCCB)Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. And he was transfigured before them; his face shone like the sun and his clothes became white as light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, conversing with him. Matthew 17:1–3This was not the first time that the Son of God spoke to Moses and Elijah on a high mountain. Recall that Moses was called up to Mount Sinai (also called Horeb) to be with the Lord for forty days and forty nights, during which time the finger...

This Sunday we are only eleven days into Lent, still very early along on our Lenten pilgrimage. The readings share the theme of beginning the journey of faith, even while giving us a glimpse of our final destination. In all three years of the lectionary cycle (A, B, C), the readings for the Second Sunday of Lent always pair a key pericope from the Abraham narrative (Genesis 12—22) with an account of the Transfiguration from one of the Synoptic Gospels. This is because, in all the Gospels, the Transfiguration marks “the beginning of the end” of Jesus’ earthly life. After...

BEIJING, March 5 (Reuters) - China's state planner underlined a greater role for coal in its power supply on Sunday, saying the fossil fuel would be used to improve the reliability and security of its energy system. The world's second-biggest economy relied on coal to generate 56.2% of its electricity last year, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, but has significantly boosted its use of natural gas and renewable energy in recent years to lower carbon emissions. Fluctuating output from renewable plants, however, has led policymakers to lean on reliable and easily dispatchable coal power to shore...

WASHINGTON, Wednesday, March 4. The closing scenes in Congress to-day were respectable, and not unimpressive. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1 King James Version It is time for the millions of top scientists in the world to finally put up or shut up about evolution. Please tell the skeptics of the world how life began in your theory. It should be a simple explanation of how the first building block of the world’s greatest fraud up until the Scamdemic occurred? Please do not give the world the Disney film version of a lightning bolt hitting the primordial goo and instantly life was formed like a drunk hitting the jackpot...

Former Republican Gov. Larry Hogan, a fierce critic of Donald Trump, said Sunday he will not run for the White House in 2024, after long positioning himself as a possible alternative to the former president. Hogan, 66, wrote in The New York Times that while he appreciated “all those around the nation who have for many years encouraged me to run for president, after eight years of pouring my heart and soul into serving the people of Maryland, I have no desire to put my family through another grueling campaign just for the experience.”
