An eight-year-old Arkansas boy helped raise tens of thousands of dollars for his favorite Waffle House server after finding out the man lived in a motel room with his family.
Kayzen Hunter, 8, often dines at a Waffle House restaurant in Little Rock, Arkansas. That’s where he met a friendly server named Devonte Gardner, THV 11 reported.
“I come with a positive attitude. I treat everybody with positivity. I love to see everybody smile,” Gardner explained to the outlet.
TODAY reported when Hunter learned Gardner had been living in a motel room with his wife and two daughters for eight months due to unsafe living conditions at their previous home. Gardner said:

Good for this kid and community for helping one of their own. The fact that the man was working and doing whatever necessary to get to his job, and was living with his wife and children, is a great indicator that the help will not be wasted.

I saw this story (video) the other day. What a fantastic outcome. God will reward Kayden for doing this.

Yeh...remember that guy who was a beggar...and he could sing or something...we dressed him up...gave him tons of money...I think a radio station hired him...turns out...just another con job on the american people.
Our local community FB page always pitches in when someone is in need.
But, once in a while an always-needy grifter shows up. Last one was a single mother from out of town with 2 biracial kids and a black bf. She was asking for help for everything from furniture to food to rides to video games for her trouble-making brats
The community did their thing for a few weeks until everybody realized that there was never going to be an end to her “needs” and cut her off.
With the rise of the internet, Government “charity” administered by bloated, corrupt, political bureaucracies is even less necessary than it was when progressives first lied about its necessity.
This kid is just more proof.
I’m wrong...He went down and then made a comeback and he’s like a total success...and doing good things for others.
And yet the donors want the taxpayers to pay off their “student loans”. Something is wrong in America. I feel sorry for the employers who decide to hire these student loan deadbeats.
