John Kerry condemned fossil fuels during remarks at the 2023 Our Ocean Conference in Panama. Biden’s so-called Climate Envoy John Kerry traveled all the way to Brazil and Panama this week to lecture on the virtues of making sacrifices to stop climate change. John Kerry said we are facing a climate change crisis because of “how we live” and the choices we make on a daily basis. “That crisis is caused by unabated emissions from fossil fuels that burn so that we can propel our vehicles, heat our homes, light our businesses,” John Kerry said. As medical students and future pediatricians, we recognize that childhood vaccines are one of the single greatest public health achievements of the 20th and 21st centuries. Yet, for one of us, a pregnant cousin announced over the Thanksgiving dinner table that she wasn't going to vaccinate her unborn child. No matter the facts, research, or wealth of medical education, this cousin was firm in her beliefs that there was a better, healthier way to protect her child than vaccination. Unfortunately, her viewpoint is not at all surprising given the misinformed headlines that permeate our Instagram feeds such as "The Danger...

Report from a Rome in Deep Crisis: "Terror, Disgust, Espionage: Everybody Hates Francis."[REPORT FROM ROME:] ROMAN MELANCHOLYIt is one thing to be told, and another to see it. I have been saddened by this truth in the last few days. Some Roman friends often tell me secrets, or not so much [secret], of what goes on inside the Vatican walls and [Spanish blogger] Specola also gives us this kind of news daily, of which he knows a lot. But another thing is to personally verify the facts and confirm the conclusion that we all know: Pope Francis is not loved...

High blood pressure disorders during pregnancy are associated with an increased risk of thinking problems later in life, according to a study. Researchers found that those with these disorders had a higher risk of cognitive problems in later life than those who did not have high blood pressure during pregnancy. They also found that those with preeclampsia, which is high blood pressure that develops halfway through pregnancy and usually involves the kidneys and other organs, may have an even greater risk of cognitive decline later in life, compared to those with gestational high blood pressure, a condition with high blood...

The architect of one of President Biden’s panned talking points has been revealed. "Putin’s price hike" became a frequent talking point throughout 2022 during the Ukraine War and earlier this year. It was often used to deflect criticism away from President Biden's economic policies and instead blame Russian President Vladimir Putin for high rising inflation in the United States. On Wednesday, it was revealed in a profile piece that the architect behind the talking point was: now-former White House communications director Kate Bedingfield.

The determination of the Left from both the Republican and Democrat parties to stop you, er, Donald Trump, but really you, from opposing their agenda reaches the extreme. The most serious threat to Donald Trump's reelection bid for president in 2024 has been the danger of an indictment in Georgia for his placing a perfectly appropriate phone call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger on or about Jan. 3, 2021. This is an astonishingly precise parallel to Trump's phone call to Ukraine and the first impeachment trial. It's like a remake of a bad movie. This is dangerous to...

A report from Fox News back in 2021 highlighted the scope of the crisis unfolding in Afghanistan as the Taliban took control of 75,000 US vehicles, 200 US aircraft, 600,000 US weapons, and $85 billion in military funding. This is like Obama’s Fast and Furious gun-running scandal on steroids. Today the Taliban is patrolling the streets of Kabul in US humvees. The big story might be the pallets of cash the Taliban have been posting videos of pallets of weapons and stacks of $100 bills they have seized. Here is a more complete list of US equipment now controlled by...

Gov. Maura Healey tore into Ron DeSantis, saying the Florida leader’s stances on education have been “really shameful,” particularly his controversial “Don’t Say Gay” law, which the nation’s first openly-lesbian governor described as nonsense. In a Thursday interview on GBH’s Boston Public Radio, Healey said she would support Democrat President Joe Biden if he were to run for another term. She also characterized Gov. DeSantis, a possible 2024 Republican presidential candidate, as someone who wants to take the country “backwards.” “The idea of punishing, you know, punishing people for some of the things that he talks about,” Healey said. “This...

Patients with high-risk melanoma who received the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab both before and after surgery to remove cancerous tissue had a significantly lower risk of their cancer recurring than similar patients who received the drug only after surgery. "It's not just what you give, it's when you give it. The S1801 study demonstrates the same treatment for resectable melanoma given before surgery can generate better outcomes," Patel said. "In this case, we used the immune checkpoint inhibitor pembrolizumab." The mechanism of action of immune checkpoint inhibitors such as pembrolizumab is often described as "taking the brakes off" the immune system's...

A Maryland mayor who recently visited the White House for a President Biden bill signing was busted Thursday on dozens of child porn counts, officials said. Patrick Wojahn, mayor of College Park since 2015, abruptly resigned from his post just hours before he was taken into custody on charges that he possessed and passed around suspected child pornography on social media, police said. The images and videos were allegedly uploaded in January, with the Prince George’s County Police Department determining the social media account belonged to the 47-year-old Democrat, cops said. Roughly more than two months before his arrest, Wojahn...

Chaya Raichik, best known for founding and operating the Libs of TikTok Twitter profile, said on Wednesday’s edition of the Breitbart Daily News podcast that she would stop documenting instances of the left’s sexualization of children upon the cessation of such institutionalized sexual predation. “The left wants me silenced and censored so badly, and here’s my response to that,” Raichik said, who had previously been censored by Twitter via account suspension under the technology company’s previous ownership. She added, “The fastest way to silence me is to stop giving me material. So as soon as there are no more drag...

An American bishop has taken the extraordinary step of charging another American prelate—a cardinal, in fact—with heresy. In a provocative article posted by First Things, Bishop Thomas Paprocki of Springfield, Illinois, has suggested that an American cardinal is guilty of heresy and has separated himself from communion with the Catholic Church. Although he does not mention Cardinal Robert McElroy by name, Bishop Paprocki opens his essay by quoting two passages from a recent article that the cardinal published in America magazine. “Until recently,” Bishop Paprocki remarks, “it would be hard to imagine any successor of the apostles making such heterodox...
