Israel will prepare for possible action against Iran’s nuclear facilities after a series of secret meetings between the prime minister and leaders from the defense and intelligence ministries, according to a leaked report. "Israel will not allow Iran to become nuclear," Brigadier-General (Reserves) Amir Avivi, founder and chairman of the Israeli Defense Security Forum, told Fox News Digital. "As we are witnessing the continued unhindered progress of the Iranian military nuclear program with weapons-grade enrichment, Israel is readying its credible military option." Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held five meetings with his defense and intelligence chiefs, as well as the...

Accused crypto-scammer Sam Bankman-Fried was hit with four new criminal charges on Thursday for allegedly conspiring to make more than 300 illegal political donations using "straw" donors to evade contribution limits. Prosecutors said Bankman-Fried conspired with two other former FTX executives to donate tens of millions of dollars in order to influence lawmakers to pass legislation favorable to the company. The donations were unlawful because they were made through "straw" donors or with corporate funds, often allowing Bankman-Fried to evade contribution limits, prosecutors said. While Bankman-Fried was one of the largest donors to Democratic campaigns in the 2022 midterms, the...

Santa Cruz police are warning residents not to approach a man dressed up as the "Cookie Monster," that is wandering around the city's beach and wharf areas. Police said they have received multiple calls and emails from residents who say the man is "creepy" and makes them "uncomfortable." Police identified the man as Adam Sandler; not related to the actor. Sandler is not employed, contracted, or permitted by the City of Santa Cruz or any local businesses on the wharf, authorities said. Police said it's the prerogative of the parent if they want their children to take pictures with him,...

‘The largest private pension bailout in American history’ gave each beneficiary of the Central States Pension Fund nearly $100,000. Can Americans be bribed with their own money? The powers that be are certainly putting that question to the test. In recent years, we’ve seen inflation-inducing cash giveaways associated with “Covid relief.” We’ve seen the ongoing attempts at profoundly inequitable student loan forgiveness. In December, we saw a $1.7 trillion pork pie omnibus appropriations bill passed by a Congress that had no time to read it. Lost in all of this has been one spectacular giveaway: $100,000 per beneficiary of the...

A computer programmer who previously testified to Congress on the integrity of voting machines has warned lawmakers in Arizona never to trust them. “Don’t use machines, because you can never, ever trust them to give you a fair election. There are too many ways to hack them. You can hack them at the level that I did when you first build them, you can hack them from the outside, you can hack them with programs that load themselves on the side. It’s impossible to secure them. You will never beat the programmer. The programmer always owns the universe,” explained Clinton...

The Schismatic Trads Were Right? Francis’ New Rescript on the TLMhe Latin Mass Society of England and Wales and the FIUV (Una Voce International) have issued a joint press release on yesterday’s Rescript, which insists that bishops may not allow the celebration of Masses in parish churches on their own authority: the matter is “reserved to the Holy See,” with the Dicastery for Divine Worship making the final decision. In the press release we have tried to explain exactly what this means and what happens next. As a matter of official Church policy, however, the whole business seems bizarre.Advertisement -...

R. Kelly dodged an effective life sentence Thursday when a Chicago judge tacked on just one extra year to his 30-year punishment behind bars. The 56-year-old disgraced R&B singer was sentenced in his Illinois case to 20 years in prison — with 19 to run concurrently with his existing, 30-year sentence out of Brooklyn. That means he’ll only serve one extra year behind bars, and would be eligible for release when he is 80 years old.

House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) on Wednesday introduced legislation to prevent the Federal Reserve from issuing a central bank digital currency (CBDC), which he and others say could surveil Americans’ financial activity. “Today, I introduced the CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act to halt efforts of unelected bureaucrats in Washington, DC from stripping Americans of their right to financial privacy,” Emmer, a staunch cryptocurrency advocate, wrote (on Twitter). He continued, “Any digital version of the dollar must uphold our American values of privacy, individual sovereignty, and free market competitiveness. Anything less opens the door to the development of a dangerous surveillance...

KEY POINTS The Supreme Court unanimously ruled that a woman could not use protection under the U.S. bankruptcy code to avoid paying a debt that resulted from fraud by her partner. The court said that the California woman, Kate Bartenwerfer, owed the debt even if she did not know or could not have known about her partner’s fraud. The 9-0 ruling, written by Justice Amy Coney Barrett, underscored a Supreme Court decision in 1885 which found that two partners in a New York wool company were liable for the debt due to the fraudulent claims of a third partner even...

The attorney defending Arizona rancher George Alan Kelly, who is facing murder and other charges in the shooting of a Mexican national on his border property, argued during Wednesday's preliminary hearing that the handling of the investigation contrasted drastically with that into Alec Baldwin's shooting on the set of the Western film "Rust." "There was a huge divergence in how investigation and prosecution should happen and how it did happen in this case," Kelly's court-appointed attorney, Brenna Larkin, said. "The Alec Baldwin case comes to mind of a case where an incident occurred, there was a shooting, there was an...

A famed Black Panther who's also a communist has faced calls to pay reparations after discovering her ancestors were white puritans who arrived in the US on the Mayflower. Angela Davis, 79, was flabbergasted to discover both sides of her family were white, and that her mom's ancestors were slave-owners on PBS show Finding Your Roots. And the stunning revelations sparked calls for the famously woke Marxist University of California professor to herself pay reparations, having previously called on whites to pony-up in the past.

The Food and Drug Administration warned Wednesday of another imported eye product that could be contaminated with bacteria, in the wake of an outbreak earlier this year of highly drug-resistant bacteria that hospitalized and blinded some patients. Americans should stop using Delsam Pharma's Artificial Eye Ointment, the FDA says, an over-the-counter product manufactured by Global Pharma Healthcare Private Limited. The company has agreed to recall the product. It's the same manufacturer behind the EzriCare and Delsam Pharma artificial tears products that were already recalled earlier this year. The FDA had faulted the company for multiple violations and banned imports into...

A cyberattack earlier this month forced produce giant Dole to temporarily shut down production plants in North America and halt food shipments to grocery stores, according to a company memo about the incident obtained by CNN. The previously unreported hack — which a source familiar with the incident said was ransomware — led some grocery shoppers to complain on Facebook in recent days that store shelves were missing Dole-made salad kits. “Dole Food Company is in the midst of a Cyber Attack and have subsequently shut down our systems throughout North America,” Emanuel Lazopoulos, senior vice president at Dole’s Fresh...
