Israel will prepare for possible action against Iran’s nuclear facilities after a series of secret meetings between the prime minister and leaders from the defense and intelligence ministries, according to a leaked report.
"Israel will not allow Iran to become nuclear," Brigadier-General (Reserves) Amir Avivi, founder and chairman of the Israeli Defense Security Forum, told Fox News Digital. "As we are witnessing the continued unhindered progress of the Iranian military nuclear program with weapons-grade enrichment, Israel is readying its credible military option."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held five meetings with his defense and intelligence chiefs, as well as the head of Mossad, to discuss the possible attack, local news outlet Channel 12 reported. The report did not name any source, and The Times of Israel speculated that officials could have leaked the report in order to make clear the country’s resolve and intent.
placeholder Tensions between Israel and Iran have flared in recent weeks after a drone strike hit Iranian military facilities, with Iran claiming "early investigations suggest that the Israeli regime were responsible for this attempted act of aggression."
Israel has regularly raised concerns about Iran’s nuclear program, and the report could be part of a plan to push Western allies to act rather than leave Israel to act alone. It has warned the U.S. and France that it will act alone if the international community does not provide support, The Telegraph reported.
"The only thing that has ever stopped rogue nations from developing nuclear weapons is a credible military threat or a credible military action," Netanyahu said at a national security conference on Tuesday.

Not so secret now
“Not so secret now.”
Yeah, I get a kick out of that kind stuff too.
I believe this was intentionally “leaked”. Sometimes stirring the pot and seeing how the enemy jumps is the best way to learn about them.
Israel should not allow itself to become a target of a nuclear
bomb.
Iran is an ongoing menace to everyone
WW III is about to get white hot. . . .
If they plan on taking those reactors out why give advance warning? Either do it or shut up.
Its never been a secret
what’s your solution?
wait until Iran attacks Israel with a nuke?
The planning has been going on since GWB resided in the White House. This time a Presidential call won't likely deter them.
Location right on Persian Gulf near Strait of Hormuz.
When this happens I expect the Saudis will allow the Israeli jets to fly right over their airspace on their way to take out the Shiite trash.
(WW III is about to get white hot. . . .)
In multiple places, too

Sabre rattling can be a part of strategic planning
I don’t think Israel has the cajones to take on Iran by themselves, so they are leaking this to pressure the US to do something. Well we already have strong sanctions against Iran, what more do they expect when we have our hands full with Russia & China? If they want to take out the reactor then go for it, just don’t expect the US to do it for them.
WWIII is going to get started pretty quick, as China is doing very poorly in many areas. My wild guess is they know if they don’t get Taiwan now, they will be too broken, in 3 years. This is looking really bad for Israel, too..... Trump really ripped the scab off and I hope he gets to run the show when we need a real, tough, decent, leader of the free world.
Meetings don’t seem so secret to me:-)
Israel is already the target of the Iranian nuclear weapons program, and will be attacked as soon as Iran can produce or procure a weapon.
It's not a question of "allowing" or not allowing it, the issue is what should be done about it, and what involvement the US should have.
