The Carolina Panthers have hired a new head coach. The team announced Thursday on Twitter that it has chosen Frank Reich to lead the ballclub for the 2023-2024 NFL season. Reich’s hiring comes as a bit of a surprise considering the Indianapolis Colts recently fired him as their head coach back in November after a 23-point loss to the New England Patriots. He was 3-5-1 at the time of his firing, according to Pro Football Reference. Carolina’s management is doing Steve Wilks wrong here by picking Reich over him. Wilks took over the Panthers as interim head coach after Carolina...

Instead of stopping the Iranian nuclear program the Biden regime is using the power of the White House to promote socialist dictatorships and subvert democracy in Brazil, Venezuela and Israel By Ezequiel Doiny Israel: The Biden regime conditions American support for Israel to Netanyahu's halting Israeli legal reform. This is sinister: The Biden regime is not standing for democracy but against it, the Biden regime prefers a dictatorship rather than democracy in Israel On January 23, 2023 Arutz 7 reported about Netanyahu's meeting with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan "According to the report...Sullivan told Netanyahu about the administration's concerns...

Avalanche forecasters say they are seeing likely impacts of climate change high in Scotland's mountains. The Scottish Avalanche Information Service said conditions were changing more rapidly and avalanches occurring in tighter spaces of time. It said named storms - such as 2021's Storm Barra - brought short, significant periods of "proper winter", raising the avalanche risk. The storms have often been followed by rising temperatures and snow loss. But SAIS warned that even in those "leaner" times when there was less snow potential hazards remained, often higher up towards the top of a coire, gully or mountain summit. Dr Mike...

Google hates the truth. They always have. They’re in the business of narrative-building and the narrative they’re building regarding the recent Project Veritas bombshell is a lie: “Nothing to see here.” Here’s what Project Veritas noticed on Thursday: The results have since been “fixed,” quite literally. Most of the top listings for the phrase, “pfizer project veritas” show “fact check” websites claiming the video is “unverified” or corporate media news outlets calling the incident “alleged.” Others published a story, then retracted it later. In other words, they’re running the Hunter Biden laptop play on this one. It wouldn’t be shocking...

Over the past several years, Republicans have very gradually acquired some backbone in pushing back against progressive idiocy. But a glaring example of failure to push back remains in the state university systems, very much including those of the red states. In essentially all of those states, Republican governors and legislatures have allowed the very worst of Marxist and racist monoculture to fester and metastasize not only without opposition, but with ever-increasing taxpayer funding. Well, count on Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida to be the one to finally step up and do something about it. On January 6, DeSantis announced...

Paris (AFP) – From "The Sixth Sense" to "Old", director M. Night Shyamalan has had a unique string of hits, but these days he works outside the Hollywood studio system, which he says has grown "sick". Balancing art and commerce has always been the great game of Hollywood and few have played it as well as Shyamalan, who returns to cinemas next week with the apocalyptic horror tale, "Knock at the Cabin". Still just 52, he has been cranking out box office hits every couple of years since the iconic "The Sixth Sense" in 1999, through "Unbreakable", "Signs", "Split" and...

Pray For The Peace of JerusalemMatthew 28The Great Commission16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you...

A new project led by researchers at Texas A&M University is seeking to understand how changes to the climate and oceans will impact fisheries in the U.S. and around the world. Funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), the project aims to develop medium to long-term fishery forecasts, driven by some of the highest-resolution coupled climate forecasts ever run. The TAMU team, led by oceanographer Piers Chapman, includes computational climate modelers, marine biogeochemical modelers, fishery modelers, decision support system experts, and risk communications scholars from academia, federal agencies, and industry. They use the Frontera supercomputer at the Texas Advanced Computing...

President Joe Biden is certainly no stranger to committing embarrassing blunders that end up as news stories, but it’s usually because of something he said or did. This time around, some poorly thought-out imagery in the background of a Thursday speech by the president quickly caught the attention of social media users. According to CNBC, Biden gave a speech on what the White House touted as an update on America’s “economic progress.” As the president spoke Thursday at a steamfitters union hall in Springfield, Virginia, a sign behind the president’s podium read, “President Biden’s Blueprint For America.” Underneath that message,...

The question “What is a woman?” infiltrated the cultural zeitgeist in 2022, and in 2023, it appears to still be at the forefront of fierce debate. But in this particular instance, it’s not a question about the immutable qualities that make a person a woman — no, this time it’s more about the age at which a woman can no longer claim to be a “girl.” Or, more specifically, a girl who’s a high school student. According to multiple reports, including from New Brunswick Today, a 29-year-old woman was able to dupe authorities and officials for four days and successfully...

A Colorado baker who won a partial U.S. Supreme Court victory in a case where he refused to make a cake for a gay wedding lost an appeal in another legal fight in which he rejected a request for a birthday cake celebrating a gender transition. The Colorado Court of Appeals ruled on Thursday that the refusal by Jack Phillips and Masterpiece Cakeshop to make a cake requested by Autumn Scardina did not constitute free speech. The court also found it was illegal to refuse to provide services to people based on characteristics like race, religion, or sexual orientation. “We...

Project Veritas has released a new video exposing a Pfizer executive Jordon Trishton Walker claiming that his company is exploring a way to “mutate” COVID via “Directed Evolution” to preempt the development of future vaccines. Walker, Pfizer Director of Research and Development, Strategic Operations and mRNA Scientific Planner says in the video: “One of the things we’re exploring is like, why don’t we just mutate it [COVID] ourselves so we could create — preemptively develop new vaccines, right? So, we have to do that. If we’re gonna do that though, there’s a risk of like, as you could imagine —...

California lawmakers are pushing legislation that would impose yet another new tax on the state's wealthiest residents — even if they've already moved to another part of the country. (You can run, but you can't hide!) Assemblyman Alex Lee, a progressive Democrat (is there any other kind?), recently introduced a bill in the California state Legislature that would impose an extra annual 1.5% tax on those with a worldwide net worth above $1 billion, starting as early as next year. Moreover, as soon as 2026, the threshold for being taxed would drop dramatically: those with a "worldwide net worth" exceeding...

The decision to provide heavy tanks to Ukraine in significant numbers constitutes a step change in western military support for Ukraine. For the first time, western countries are providing substantial offensive capabilities to support a major campaign to regain lost territory. The decision has been long in coming. But for some months, the German chancellor Olaf Scholz resisted the decision to send German-made Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. Even the Nato meeting held at the Ramstein US air base in Germany on January 20 to discuss the issue ended without a decision, much to the frustration of Ukraine’s president Volodymyr...

The chief executive officer of ASML, the overwhelmingly dominant supplier of lithography equipment to the semiconductor industry, says that China will eventually learn how to make the semiconductor production equipment it cannot import due to sanctions imposed by the US. In an interview with Bloomberg News published on January 25, Peter Wennink said, “If they cannot get those machines, they will develop them themselves. That will take time, but ultimately they will get there.” He also said, “The more you put them under pressure, the more likely it is that they will double up their efforts.” It is only natural...

Dave Rubin was invited to Twitter headquarters to get the inside scoop on why many users are still experiencing engagement issues and reported “shadowbans.” The journalist shed some very interesting insights into the ongoing problems in a Twitter thread, which will be shared in a more easily read format below. Spent last two days at Twitter in SF talking to engineers, product managers and yes, @elonmusk. Learned a ton about what’s going on. Before I share, want to note that after couple hour meeting I asked Elon what I could share and he said, “anything that’s true.” “A Fractal Rube...

KYIV -- A pile of boxes filled with body bags welcomed visitors to the headquarters of the Ukrainian Women Veteran Movement, Ukraine's biggest female soldiers' organization, on a recent afternoon. The empty bags were ready to be shipped to Bakhmut, a city in the Donetsk region where deadly fighting has raged for months, said Olena Kharchenko, an employee in charge of the dispatch. "It's what we do almost every day," she added.“We set up our movement to defend the rights of female soldiers and veterans," said Kateryna Priymak, the organization’s deputy head, "but Russia's full-scale invasion forced us to focus on...
