Burlington, Vt., is a bike-friendly city. There are multiple bike stores, a network of bright green bike lanes on many major streets and a waterfront bike path with views of the dazzling sunsets over Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains. Burlington’s bike culture and natural beauty convinced Julie Williams to settle there after graduating from the University of Vermont 10 years ago. She also liked the city’s progressive politics, which started the career of Bernie Sanders, a former Burlington mayor. “I feel like I fit in here,” said Ms. Williams, who operates Betty’s Bikes, which she named after her grandmother....
  • VIDEO: Very Very Close Encounter With a Rainbow

VIDEOLast September while cruising in the southern Caribbean aboard the Celebrity Equinox, I had a close encounter with a rainbow. So close that I estimate I was less than 50 yards from it for awhile. BTW, just about 10 seconds before I got this shot of the rainbow a big lightning strike hit at about the same distance away. Since the good luck from the rainbow was apparently not retroactive, I didn't have my cell phone camera turned on although I was already in the process of doing so.

And not just financially or in matters of law. No, this wrongness cuts much deeper. Many on the left want to destroy anything old, historic or traditional, including statues, buildings, governments, and morality. They revel in tearing down people, standards, and ideas and are incapable of building anything or governing themselves...let alone anyone else. On occasion, they will seek to replace what they erase, substituting Baphomet or Beelzebub for Jesus Christ, for example. These modern anarchists, though anything but philosophers, ironically piggyback on the past work of white men such as Søren Kierkegaard, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Jean-Paul Sartre, Friedrich Nietzsche, and...

Unofficial results show four seats on the Kansas State Board of Education were won by conservative candidates who want to restrict how race and social-emotional learning are taught in schools. Conservatives appear to have won a slate of seats on the Kansas State Board of Education on Tuesday night, pushing the moderate board further to the right. In District 3, covering southern Johnson County and part of Miami County, incumbent Michelle Dombrosky won the race against newcomer Sheila Albers by just over 6,000 votes, according to unofficial results. Dombrosky, who won her seat in 2019, pushed for local control and...

Pray For The Peace of JerusalemMatthew 13 The Parable of the Sower 13 That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. 2 Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. 3 Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not...

BOSTON, Wednesday, Nov. 12. The correspondent of the Boston Journal writes from on board the United States steamer South Carolina, off Charleston, under date of Oct. 18, as follows: "The British frigate Racer, by permission of Flag officer GREEN, entered Charleston harbor, and took away, as a passenger, the British Consul. The Consul says that the rebels have just launched a powerful ram, and that two more are all ready for plating with iron, which they expect every day to arrive from England in an iron-plated steamer. He also reports the rebel steamer Nashville lying at the mouth of Stono...

Data analysts from both parties believe the count will eventually shift in Lake’s favor, but it’s not yet clear whether she will pick up enough votes to overtake Hobbs. Republicans have watched anxiously since Tuesday as Hobbs has defied their expectations and increased her lead each day, including Saturday when combined with results from the rest of the state.

You may have seen that the Federalist Society has been holding its annual convention in Washington. I was there on Thursday and Friday. They have recorded all the presentations. If you want to watch some, go to this link and see what interests you. There was not a lot of moaning about the election results. Rather, the focus was on high-minded issues, mostly of constitutional and administrative law. I have selected a highlight that you may find interesting. One of the lunchtime panels on Thursday was titled “Render Law Unto Congress and Execution Unto the Executive: The Supreme Court Rebalances...

DALLAS - Two military planes from World War II collided mid-air during a Veterans Day air show at Dallas Executive Airport on Saturday. The accident took place around 1:20 p.m. during the Commemorative Air Force’s Wings Over Dallas WWII Airshow. There were between 4,000 to 6,000 spectators at the show. Video from witnesses obtained by FOX 4 shows the planes colliding and then bursting into flames after hitting the ground. Fallen debris stretched from the south end of the airport, across Highway 67 to a strip mall on the opposite side.

For Donald Trump, politics and entertainment are intertwined and often synonymous. His remarkable success at both makes his latest missteps especially puzzling because Trump is committing the cardinal sin of both: He’s become boring. The ultimate shock jock is now predictable. Wind him up and watch him throw a garbage can full of insults at anyone who won’t kiss the ring. Ho-hum. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin are getting the Trump treatment now. Both are rising Republican stars, so naturally the former president trashes and demeans them. Can’t be competition for top dog. Long gone is...

I heard late Tuesday night the White House commented that this Mid Term election was about Gun Control\Confiscation and Inflation. I suspect once the Democrats steal the remaining 14 House races that they will push to implement sweeping Gun Control\Confiscation laws and switch over to the Digital Dollar aka FedCoin then they can control inflation...I see it coming and I am sure a few False Flag events and Crisis will pop up to prime the Public.

This has been a stressful week for a lot of people, so how about a little comedy break (well, Biden superfans might not find it very funny but whatevs)? It has been noticed that the late great actor Lloyd Bridges was basically President Biden, just about 30 years ahead of his time: Who did this..?🤔🤣👏👍 Almost 30 years since this movie was made, Lloyd Bridges didn’t know he was the perfect stand-in for the #JoeBiden of today…#MidtermElections2022 pic.twitter.com/v5EnyS5qjm — Timjbo 🇦🇺🇹🇭 🇺🇸☔ (@Tim_jbo) November 12, 2022 LOL! • Were the midterm elections the establishment’s latest trap for Trump?

The GOP establishment is blaming Trump for Tuesday's electoral losses instead of itself. Did they plan it this way? From the day Donald Trump became a force to reckon with in the GOP, the D.C establishment has relentlessly worked to ruin Trump politically. In 2017, the Democrats concocted and amplified the Trump-Russia collusion hoax that caused the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller. Following an almost two-year probe. Mueller's team conducted raids on Trump allies and his lawyer. At every point during the probe, the media claimed the walls were closing in on Trump and that he would be compelled...

Arizona once again leads in sloppy election handling. One can blame incompetence, but as these sloppy procedures seem to always favor the Left there’s reason for suspicion. Election Day is increasingly looking like election month, and frankly, unless state residents under our federal system get control of this, I see no end to it. In the worst cases, ballots are emailed to everyone who has ever been registered to vote whether or not they’ve died or moved away, faulty ballot printing results in valid ballots being tossed, equipment failures misregister votes, ballot drop boxes are left unmonitored, and so on...

Hawley has been vocally critical of the Republican Party and its Senate Leader Mitch McConnell Republicans need to rebrand and "build something new" after they failed to retake a majority in the U.S. Senate or meet general expectations for the 2022 midterm elections, one of the party’s younger members said. On Saturday, shortly after Democrats picked up a key victory in Nevada, where incumbent Democrat Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto defeated Republican challenger Adam Laxalt, Republican Sen. Josh Hawley took to Twitter to say the Republican Party "is dead." "The old party is dead. Time to bury it. Build something new,"...

Since NTEB started back in 2009, we have warned you over and over again that the LGBTQIA+ Movement was a radical, militaristic movement planning to erase gender lines, and recruit children through Public School indoctrination programs. In the early days, people would write to us, mockingly deriding our assessment of this situation, calling us ‘conspiracy theory nuts’. However starting in 2020, those emails have since ceased, and now people write to us weeping over what America has become. “Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.” Genesis...

There are times when I don’t know what to tell people about something in the news. No born-again Christian wants to be a false teacher, but lies, fake news, censorship, war, and unexpected events make it difficult to know what to believe. More than 30 years ago, I was teaching that the rider on the black horse in Rev. 6:5-6 represents food shortages, famine, and economic disaster. It wasn’t long until I decided that it was accurate to say that the rider on the black horse represents hyperinflation and a global economic collapse after the Rapture. I added “after the...
