Residents of the Big Apple have plenty to fear these days. Violent crime is one of those things. In fact, it is probably the most important thing. Just this past week, a man was arguing with a woman in a subway station in the Bronx. During the argument, the woman pushed the man into a group of three other men, who slashed his face with an ice pick. An ice pick? I thought those were only used by Victorian-era serial killers and psychopaths in movies. Where does one even get an ice pick these days? Last Friday, a woman who...

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has reportedly not informed anyone about whether she intends to retire or remain in Congress. Pelosi’s silence comes as Democrats are likely to lose the House majority to Republicans by a slim margin. Punchbowl News reported Friday Pelosi “hasn’t informed anyone what her plans are. Or at least not anyone who’s willing to disclose those plans.”

Desantis is GREAT on domestic policy. But what about foreign policy? Hope he’s not he’s another cookie-cutter McCain-Paul Ryan-Lis Cheney interventionist? Paul Ryan supports him but Liz Cheney has been critical, so I really wonder where he stands. We need an America First president on issues at home and issues abroad.

“‘But to what shall I compare this generation? It is like children sitting in the market places, who call out to the other children, and say, “We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn.” For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, “He has a demon!” The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, “Behold, a gluttonous man and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!” Yet wisdom is vindicated by her deeds’” (Matthew 11:16–19). Contemporary people love to criticize whatever...

Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis are allies, not rivals. Portraying them as political opponents is yet another twisted mistake in judgment that gives political gamesters something to add to their tactics for dividing America. The Trump versus DeSantis game is aimed at destroying both of these outstanding Americans. Don’t fall for it. And take political commentary that distorts the relation between Trump and DeSantis -- even that from “conservatives” -- with a ton of salt. What Trump did for America before Biden knocked down the vast improvements that Trump ushered in, and what DeSantis did for Florida to make that...

Before the cross, most people did not have direct access to God; only the high priest could enter the Holy of Holies. Now Jesus’ death on the cross has made a path for us into the Father’s presence. God tore right through the veil that had always separated us from him. He can come out and embrace mankind, including prodigals and sinners, with no interference. Consider Israel’s miraculous deliverance. As God’s people crossed over the Red Sea onto dry land, they saw the waves crash down on their enemy behind them. It was a glorious moment, and they held a...

It turns out that efforts to recycle plastic are a waste of time and energy. The environmental advocacy group Greenpeace issued a report showing that "mechanical and chemical recycling of plastic waste has largely failed and will always fail because plastic waste is: (1) extremely difficult to collect, (2) virtually impossible to sort for recycling, (3) environmentally harmful to reprocess, (4) often made of and contaminated by toxic materials, and (5) not economical to recycle." Lisa Ramsden, a senior plastics campaigner at Greenpeace USA and one of the authors of the report, said "most plastic is not being recycled in...

Since 1979 I’ve been a registered Republican. I was optimistic like so many other conservatives that a “Red Wave” would reflect a learning behavior from the larger public in the current voting cycle, a change in perception given the overwhelming flood of not only bad policy from the Left, such as mass illegal immigration, but outright incompetence in fiscal and monetary policy. While I was skeptical of an actual surge among America’s largest political party -- the non-voters -- I didn’t want to be creating defeatism in my local community by pointing out some unpleasant facts: the GOP at least,...

Okay, this is in no way kid-friendly, I'm just gonna say that right off the bat. And besides the fact that it's R-rated (maybe worse), it's just over-the-top disgusting — something I wish I never saw — and it reeks of defamation. The lefties over at Paramount hate Ron DeSantis on such a level that they went out of their way to portray him as a literal homosexual rapist in one of their TV shows. Not joking! Brace yourself for this scene, because it's just disgusting and wrong on so many levels. Yes, that's a fictional former DeSantis speechwriter claiming...

Ella Halikas says a bouncer told her and fellow “curvy” model, Alexa Jay, that they couldn’t follow their friends into The Highlight Room in Hollywood. “(Alexa) asked him ‘Hey what’s going on? I’m actually with that party you just let in,’ and he said, ‘I know,’ and looked her up and down and said, ‘Not tonight,’” Ella said. “It was so dehumanizing,” said Alexa. “It was like we were being looked through. If you experienced any type of discrimination like this, you know exactly how horrible and disgusting it feels and we are no longer letting this fly.” The women...

Nevada Republican Adam Laxalt's lead over incumbent Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, D-Nev., has shrunk to fewer than 9,000 votes as officials are still counting mail-in ballots in the state's largest counties. Election officials said Wednesday that ballot counting will continue through next week, but the majority of the ballots could be counted by today. Officials explained that mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Election Day but can arrive as late as Saturday to be counted. Election...

ELECTION – A Disaster for Conservatives PROBLEM – Weak and Ineffective Leaders SOLUTION – New and Mostly Younger Conservative and Republican Leaders MANASSAS, Virginia – by: Richard A. Viguerie, the pioneer of conservative direct marketing, chairman of his 90-person marketing firm, and author of latest book, GO BIG, The Marketing "Secrets" of Richard A. Viguerie. ELECTION There’s no denying the fact in the 2022 elections liberals outgunned conservatives. Democrats/liberals beat Republicans/conservatives like a drum. There is plenty of blame and finger-pointing for Tuesday’s colossal failure by the GOP to achieve a resounding victory under the ideal circumstances for a wave...

Two historically black churches in Jackson, Mississippi, were deliberately set on fire early Tuesday morning — Election Day — authorities told USA Today. There were five additional suspected arson cases in the city — and all seven occurred in the area of Jackson State University, a historically black public university, the paper said. 'We will not allow domestic terrorists to suppress our right to vote' Mississippi Democrat congressional candidate Shuwaski Young released a statement early Tuesday morning calling the fires acts of "terrorism," USA Today reported. "This morning several churches were burned in Jackson, Mississippi on Election Day," the statement...

I'm posting a very rare vanity (in chat) about something that looks very unusual to me. I heard a very loud, low flying aircraft over my house a little while ago. I went out to see what it was but missed it. I'm surrounded by trees and have a relatively short window to see aircraft especially to the south where this one was. I looked at Flightradar24 but the aircraft was not visible on the website. This got my curiosity up and upon looking around on Flightradar24 I found a parade of KC 135 Stratotankers coming out of Oklahoma City...

After a biologically male shop teacher, identified as Kayla Lemieux, began teaching class while wearing a blonde wig, tight bicycle shorts, and most notably obscenely large prosthetic breasts with protruding nipples, the local school board decided that, despite backlash, this attire would be permitted. “It is important to recognize the impact that dress code policies can have on members of the transgender community,” said the report from the Halton District School Board (HDSB). “Most notably, it is important for employers to make allowances to ensure that these employees are able to express themselves in accordance with their lived gender.” HDSB's...

Democratic strategist James Carville said the party would be “better off looking harder at Mississippi” than Florida following the overwhelming GOP success in the Sunshine State in this year’s midterm elections. Carville told MSNBC’s Joy Reid on Thursday that Democrats don’t lose “that bad” in Mississippi, saying a large Black population in the state means potential exists for Democratic success there.
