Based on recent polling, RealClearPolitics projects Republicans will win the hotly contested gubernatorial races in four states that were once seen as Democrat strongholds: Wisconsin, Oregon, Nevada, and, yes, Michigan. One wonders how the latest polling out of Minnesota — polling that shows Republican Dr. Scott Jensen leading his Democrat opponent Tim Walz, 46.3 to 45.8 percent — will affect that RealClear projection.

While President Joe Biden refuses to meet with important figures like Elon Musk — ya know, the guy sending up spaceships that come back down safely to earth and is the lead manufacturer of electric vehicles — he is inviting TikTok influencers to discuss the future. And not just any TikTok influencer, but Dylan Mulvaney. You may recognize him as a guy who thinks he’s a “her.” Mulvaney was recently invited on Ulta’s podcast to discuss femininity with another man, effectively trying to redefine the primary characteristic of womanhood so that it’s also considered a man’s territory. It resulted in...

When a massive star collapsed in the Cassiopeia constellation, it generated a supernova explosion with some of the fastest shockwaves in the Milky Way. These speedy shock waves are one of the reasons the Cassiopeia A (Cas A) supernova remnant was chosen to be our Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer’s (IXPE) first observed object. This composite image, made of data from IXPE, the Chandra Observatory, and the Hubble Telescope, shows Cas A. IXPE’s investigation of Cas A from Jan. 11 to Jan. 29, 2022, added crucial information about the behavior of exploded stars’ magnetic fields: scientists found that the magnetic fields...

Next year, Circle K gas stations will give new meaning to the term “highway.” Circle K has partnered with multi-state cannabis operator Green Thumb Industries to sell legal cannabis at Circle K gas stations in the state of Florida. The collaboration marks the first time cannabis will be sold at a gas station. It also comes after President Joe Biden said he is starting action to decriminalize the drug. Marijuana had previously only been sold legally in dispensaries in the United States. Marijuana has also been sold at pharmacies in other countries with legal cannabis programs. Marijuana sales are expected...

The Biden administration this week opened the path to citizenship for immigrants with mental disabilities so great that they can’t learn basic English or pass a U.S. civics test. The changes are raising new questions that enemies of the nation may claim mental disabilities to skirt requirements to swear loyalty to the United States or demonstrate they have good moral character. “It’s one thing to promote policies that encourage naturalization and make it accessible, but these new rules cross the line, diluting the requirements in a way that potentially will lead to abuse of the system,” said Jessica Vaughan, director...

Another county in the state of Minnesota has sent voters erroneous ballots, bringing the total number of affected counties to four. In a filing with the Minnesota Supreme Court last Friday, Murray County Auditor-Treasurer Heidi Winter cited a “clerical error” as the reason why midterm general election ballots were distributed with outdated district numbers for the Minnesota Senate and House of Representatives races. Due to redistricting, Murray County’s state Senate and House district numbers were changed from 22 and 22A to 21 and 21A. But the ballots sent to voters were still printed with 22 and 22A. The filing states...

Another Deep State leak to the Washington Post. Presidential records held at Mar-a-Lago included classified documents about Iran and China, according to the Washington Post. According to The Post, the records did not contain sources’ names – but they somehow threaten sources and methods. “If shared with others, the people said, such information could expose intelligence-gathering methods that the United States wants to keep hidden from the world.” WaPo reported. One of the documents described Iran’s missile program and other records included sensitive intel on China. The Washington Post reported: Some of the classified documents recovered by the FBI from...

The discovery of a so-called monster black hole that has about 12 times the mass of the sun is detailed in a new Astrophysical Journal research submission, the lead author of which is Dr. Sukanya Chakrabarti, a physics professor at The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). “It is closer to the sun than any other known black hole, at a distance of 1,550 light years,” says Dr. Chakrabarti, the Pei-Ling Chan Endowed Chair in the Department of Physics at UAH, a part of the University of Alabama System. “So, it's practically in our backyard.” Black holes are seen as...

In a phone call with Ukraine's president this month, US President Joe Biden pledged continued solidarity with Ukraine as it battles Russia's military invasion and illegal annexation of Ukrainian territory. But that level of support could be in jeopardy if the GOP gains control of the House of Representatives in this year's midterm elections. The warning signs have been building for months. In April, 10 House Republicans voted against a bill allowing the Biden administration to more easily lend military equipment to Ukraine. The following month, 57 House Republicans voted "no" on a nearly $40 billion aid package for Ukraine....

Someone should tell Joe he’s going the wrong way. Not just from the podium again, but with his approval rating less than three weeks from Election Day. The latest numbers from Emerson College Polling are disastrous for Democrats and speak to just how poorly their messaging has been in the closing month of the campaign. Whatever happened to August when Dems had recaptured the lead, Biden was awesome, and the midterms were going to be a massive BLUE WAVE if anything. Those days have been gone for a while because, quite frankly, they were a mirage. Overall, quite a bummer...

At least 15 children under the age of four were directed to the NHS's transgender health service in England in the past two years. A similar number of five-year-olds were referred between 2021-2022 to the highly-controversial Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) at the Tavistock clinic, the country's only gender identity service for children. NHS documents state that, in total, over 5,000 children were referred to Tavistock's service in the past two years, over concerns they were suffering from their gender identity not matching their biological sex.

WCCO claims to be lacking evidence that Attorney General Keith Ellison is “anti-cop,” as a Republican Attorneys General Association ad has it. The station ran a fact-check on the ad Monday, asking for “more specifics” on the “serious accusations” that Ellison has been “anti-cop forever” and “supports convicts.” In the article, University of Minnesota professor Larry Jacobs, without specifying, said “some” of the “claims” in the ad are “outright wrong.” Much of this information on Ellison has been discussed in the past. Power Line’s Scott Johnson has been writing about Ellison’s early life on and off for the past 15...

VIDEOThere is palpable PANIC on the set of Morning Joe as more and more indications arrive of a possible Red Wave in November. A White House lawyer sent Hunter Biden and his business partner emails about then-Vice President Joe Biden’s taxes, calling into question the president's claim that he had no financial link to his son. Counsel to the Vice President Cynthia Hogan sent Hunter and his Rosemont Seneca consultancy business partner Eric Schwerin an email in March 2010 discussing issues with Joe's IRS returns. The document is the latest in a string of shocking evidence revealed by DailyMail.com of the deeply intertwined finances of the president and his son, who is under federal investigation related to his business dealings. This site has...

The company expects that most people won’t have to pay anything out of pocket for the vaccine after commercial sales begin, Ms. Lukin said. Many health insurance plans cover the full cost of an annual flu shot, for instance, and people in the U.S. have gotten Covid-19 vaccines at no cost to date during the pandemic. Ms. Lukin said the commercial list price would take into account the value provided by the vaccine, along with manufacturing costs, including the added expense of single-dose vials. The price of vaccines for adults varies widely, with some costing more than $200 while others...

Andrew Napolitano hammers judge who declared commentator's opinions 'non-opinions' "Congress shall make no law abridging ... the freedom of speech." – First Amendment to the Constitution The iconic language of the First Amendment can be recited by schoolchildren, yet it is ignored by judges in Connecticut when the speech has been uttered by Alex Jones. Since the modern interpretations of the First Amendment began in the late 1960s, opinions on matters of public interest have been protected speech, so long as some reasons for the opinions were articulated. The reasons can be inaccurate, and the opinions can be wild, bizarre...

The New York Times, Philadelphia Inquirer and others almost exclusively endorsed Democrats. The most widely circulated newspapers in key states throughout the United States have overwhelmingly endorsed Democrats during election years throughout the modern political era. A review of major newspapers throughout the country found that endorsements for president, governor, and Senate seats leaned Democrat for a majority of the papers, including The New York Times, Washington Post, and even papers in some conservative-leaning states...

President Joe Biden said Thursday he was ignorant of his campaign schedule in the last days before the midterm elections in November. “I don’t know where I’m going,” he told reporters. “I’ve got about 16, 18 requests around the country, so I don’t know who’s going where. I get told.” Biden was questioned about his upcoming campaign schedule during a visit to the sandwich restaurant Primanti Brothers in Pennsylvania with Democrat Senate candidate John Fetterman.
