When Bills safety Jordan Poyer said it was good to get a win going into the bye week, he was asked about his plans for the break. “I’m chilling,” Poyer said with a laugh. “I’m chilling.” If anyone deserves some time for that, it’s Poyer. The Bills safety was not medically cleared to fly to Kansas City, so he rode about 15 hours in a luxury van to be there for the Bills’ 24-20 victory in Kansas City on Sunday. While Poyer returned to practice this past week and was cleared to play, he was unable to fly as he...

We have yet to hear a good reason why it’s become so important to the Left (and to the Principled Conservatives™) to bring children and drag queens together. Public schools are now hosting Drag Queen Story Hour, and recently at a family-friendly drag show in Texas, Antifa militants with pride flags and AR-15s stood guard over the performance just in case any crazed right-wingers showed up to cause trouble. Fox News’ Bill Melugin is still watching the border, but he’s reporting Wednesday that the Biden administration’s State Department has awarded a cultural center in Ecuador $20,000 to host “drag theater...

In TV and movies, a fighter pilot ejecting from their jet comes across as a cut-and-dry procedure. Although it occurs in only a few seconds, ejecting is a complex and violent process that relies on a lot of luck. Even for fighter pilots who successfully eject, around 20% to 30% of them suffer some sort of spinal fracture. We spoke with Air Force veteran Lt. Col. Pete Smith, one of the few fighter pilots who has actually had to eject, to learn what really happens.

A San Diego man was sentenced Wednesday to 10 years in prison for selling fentanyl that caused a Vista woman’s death. Cole Thomas Salazar, 32, admitted to using online classified ads to sell drugs, including a November 2020 sale of powdered fentanyl to Sarah Elizabeth Fuzzell, 24. The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Fuzzell died on Nov. 3, 2020 from the drugs she purchased from Salazar. After conducting a search of Fuzzell’s phone, investigators posed as her in January and arranged a fake drug purchase with Salazar, according to the prosecution’s sentencing papers. Salazar and his girlfriend were arrested at a...

Katie Hobbs has announced that her office made an “error” in the November 8 General Election, which removed local and state races from some voters’ ballots. As many as 6,000 voters were incorrectly flagged as not having proof of citizenship on file, designating them as federal-only voters who may receive a federal-only ballot. Federal-only ballots do not contain local races like Hobbs’ failing race for Governor of Arizona. It is unclear how many Republican Kari Lake voters were affected. If a voter uses this incorrect ballot, it will reportedly be “sequestered,” and they will vote a second time on a...

A travel writer sees the peaks and valleys during a unique weekly challengeMy husband and I were on a camping trip with our two little girls and a friend. We had just finished Tokopah Falls, a 3.5-mile trek to a beautiful waterfall not far from the base of Mount Whitney. Following the park ranger’s recommendation, we decided to jump from Sequoia National Park to Kings Canyon National Park, and were rewarded with an unexpected bear sighting along the way. A 7.2-mile loop? Animals? Sure – bring it on! The plan was that we’d hike until we found a good spot...

It is a World Heritage Site unlike any other, having seen some...
