The thing was the size of a pickup truck. It reeked of decomposing mammal, and it was covered in what appeared to be long, white hair. “We’ve seen whales wash up before, and some that had been stuck on the shore for a few weeks, and never have they grown hair like that,” she said. Lynn touched it and said it was “firm but squishy” and felt blubbery. She could tell it was the body of something; she just didn’t know what. Tegner was confused by the long tendrils that appeared to be attached to it. He could see them...

A San Diego-area parent accused her local school board of being “groomers and activist pimps” after it invited the community to a “queer” Halloween party featuring a “family friendly” drag queen show. The Encinitas Union School District removed a flier promoting the Oct. 29 “Boo Bash” event after reportedly deciding it did “not meeting district approval criteria” — but festering anger led dozens of parents to protest outside Tuesday’s meeting as mom Brittany Mayer tore into officials. The Saturday block party set for San Diego’s LGBT stronghold in the Hillcrest neighborhood touts itself as “the queerfest free Halloween party for...

Commanders owner Dan Snyder believes he has enough “dirt” on fellow NFL owners, commissioner Roger Goodell and league officials that he could “blow up” several people and organizations, ESPN’s Don Van Natta Jr., Seth Wickersham and Tisha Thompson reported Thursday. “He’s backed into a corner,” a veteran owner told the network. “He’s behaving like a mad dog cornered.” ESPN’s report comes at a time when the embattled owner is facing investigations from the league and a congressional committee looking into workplace misconduct in the franchise. Yet, Snyder reportedly told associates he does not plan to lose the Washington team “without...

A source close to President Trump says that he would love to speak before the sham Jan 6 committee. Earlier today President Trump released the following truths. In the first truth, the President asked why corrupt Speaker Nancy Pelosi didn’t call in troops before Jan 6? He also asks why the Jan 6 committee never looked into voter fraud. This is why Americans were protesting the 2020 Election in the first place. The President also asks why the Jan 6 committee waited until now to call him in to testify. All of America knows the Jan 6 committee is a...

The drama around Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder is escalating to new levels. A bombshell ESPN report on Thursday morning details how Snyder and his fellow owners are moving toward a showdown that could ultimately lead to his ouster. The story alleges that Snyder has been digging up dirt on his fellow owners, including allegedly hiring private investigators through his law firms, in a brazen attempt to keep control of his scandal-scarred franchise and has enough information to “blow up” several of them. One owner told the website that Snyder told him he “has dirt on Jerry Jones,” his one-time...

A pair of well-worn 19th-century Levi’s jeans — featuring a racist slogan — has sold at an auction for $76,000. Kyle Hauper, a 23-year-old vintage clothing collector from San Diego, snapped up the rare jeans dating from the 1880s at the Durango Vintage Festivus auction in New Mexico on Oct. 1. The second-hand jeans — hailed as “the holy grail of vintage denim collecting” — were discovered inside an abandoned mineshaft several years ago and are believed to be one of the oldest known Levi’s from that era.

President Biden said Thursday that he agrees with “whatever” Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) says — despite the congresswoman’s record of inflammatory remarks. “Rep. Maxine Waters — whatever Maxine says, I agree with,” Biden said at an event in Los Angeles. It’s unclear if he was being sincere or attempting dry humor about the notoriously hot-headed lawmaker.

Periodically, these gravitational behemoths will devoir stars and other objects in their vicinity, releasing tremendous amounts of light and radiation. In October 2018, astronomers witnessed one such event when observing a black hole in a galaxy located 665 million light-years from Earth....another team from the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics noticed something unprecedented when they examined the same black hole three years later. As they explained in a recent study, the black hole was shining very brightly because it was ejecting...leftover material from the star at half the speed of light. [T]he team observed the outburst while revisiting data...

Dumping the libs and their garbage, blue cities – figuratively throwing their junk out on the lawn just in time for the sprinklers to go off – is so tempting and sounds so sweet. If only we could wave a magic wand and make the weirdos, losers, and mutations of the left just go away, along with annoying states like New Jersey. ...*** There are a lot of logistical problems with splitting up the old United States. How do you handle national defense? What about the national debt? Will the borders between old and new America be open? Can people...

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Parades are known for drawing crowds, and with them, politicians looking for exposure and potential votes. But in this election season, they were few and far between at Chicago's 70th annual Columbus Day parade. "You have parades that have become very controversial for a variety of political reasons and politicians don't want to alienate any part of a constituency, especially a large part of the constituency," said Laura Washington, ABC7 Political Analyst. Columbus Day is among them. The controversy is tied to protests about the treatment of indigenous people that led to Mayor Lightfoot to order Columbus...

This week, John Fetterman, the Democratic for the Senate from Pennsylvania, appeared in what NBC News billed as his first on-camera, one-on-one interview since he had a stroke in May. The interview went well and was conducted with Mr. Fetterman and the reporter, Dasha Burns, sitting in the same room, as Mr. Fetterman used a captioning system on a computer screen to assist him with his auditory-processing, something he has needed help with since the stroke. Ms. Burns introduced the interview to the news anchor Lester Holt by saying, “In small talk before the interview without captioning, it wasn’t clear...

On this date in 1944, Wehrmacht Oberst Rudolf Körpert, his deputy Hauptmann Carl Frister, and officers Fritz Müsenthin, Otto Mäder, Richard Seidlitz and Kurt Wohlfarth, were shot in the Soviet Union for their treatment of Russian prisoners of war at Stalingrad. This was nearly two years on since the Germans had surrendered the eastern front’s horrific signature battle. The six captured men were principals at the little-known Dulag-205, a transit camp the Wehrmacht erected at Stalingrad for Soviet prisoners of war pending westward deportation to less extemporaneous prisons. (And less extemporaneous mistreatment.) A minuscule 10 acres, the camp was eventually...

The majority of social media users are standing behind Big Tech companies' efforts to curb misinformation, even as users of "alternative" social media sites find community in the unregulated media environments fostered by "free-speech" advocates. The information comes from a new study by the Pew Research Center, published Oct. 6, which dives into the motivations and digital consumption habits of account holders on "alt" sites like Truth Social, Parler, BitChute, and Telegram (among others). According to the study, while 64 percent of alternative social media news consumers favor the protection of free speech even if it fosters misinformation, "the majority...

Gina Montalto’s parents simply clutched hands and cried as it was announced Thursday that a Florida jury recommended the Parkland school shooter should not be condemned to death. Tony Montalto, Gina’s father and president of the advocacy group Stand with Parkland, called it “yet another gut punch for so many of us who devastatingly lost our loved ones on that tragic Valentine’s Day at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.” “Seventeen beautiful lives were cut short, by murder, and the monster that killed them gets to live to see another day,” Montalto said in a statement, echoing the sentiments of other...
