SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – AB 2098, recently signed into law by California Gov. Gavin Newsom, qualifies spreading COVID-19 “misinformation” as unprofessional conduct and makes it punishable as such.Attorneys say AB 2098 is unconstitutional and a violation of 1st Amendment. The parameters for misinformation regarding the pandemic are widely debated, with studies continuing to contradict one another well into society’s recovery from the global crisis — especially in relation to vaccines. The bill states: “Misinformation’ means false information that is contradicted by contemporary scientific consensus contrary to the standard of care.”KUSI’s Paul Rudy was joined by Board-Certified Physician Dr. Jeff Barke to...

A pair of debates took place Tuesday night between the Democrat and Republican candidates for treasurer and secretary of state in Colorado. It was held at the University of Denver. The territory definitely belonged to the liberals. You could feel it in the atmosphere. You could see it in the crowd; at least twice as many in the audience were wearing blue t-shirts for the Democrat. My husband and I sat in the second row behind the timekeepers. We were very well behaved during the debate between the candidates for treasurer. No outbursts from us. We listened attentively and clapped...

Ukraine’s armed forces on Wednesday downed four Russian helicopters in 18 minutes in the south of the country. Between 8.40am and 8.58am, anti-aircraft missile units of Ukraine’s Air Force managed to hit the Russian aircrafts, it was claimed. “Combat work was carried out on two more helicopters, so there is a high probability that the number of confirmed down helicopters will increase,” the Air Force said in a press release. It was claimed one Russian helicopter, believed to be a Ka-52, crashed on territory recently liberated from Russian-backed militants, while the rest crashed behind enemy lines. The helicopters were said...

The full story of how far it has fallen. We know that the FBI was all in on the Russian Collusion hoax, that it faked a kidnapping plot against far-Left Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, and that it raided Donald Trump’s home in yet another transparently political attempt to frame the former president for a crime and render it impossible for him to run for president again in 2024. A majority of Americans now believe that the astoundingly corrupt Merrick Garland has turned the FBI into “Biden’s Gestapo.” And it’s true: the FBI is all of that and more. But the...

"Russian President Vladimir Putin has hailed his country’s ties with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) during a meeting with the Gulf state’s leader, and welcomed a recent decision by oil-producing nations to limit production as key to stabilising the global energy market. Speaking on Tuesday at the start of his talks in Saint Petersburg with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ), Putin described relations between the two countries as “an important factor of stability” in the region and the world “despite all the difficulties that exist in the international relations today”

After the arrest last week of the CEO of an election software company amid alleged ties to China, at least two suburban counties outside the nation’s capital canceled contracts with the company, Konnech Inc. The moves by Virginia’s Fairfax and Prince William counties follow cancellations by Detroit and Los Angeles County, where the District Attorney’s Office has alleged that Michigan-based Konnech stole information about election officials and poll workers. Fairfax and Prince William canceled their contracts to use Konnech’s primary product, PollChief. “Effective this week, we have suspended using PollChief and are erasing any data contained on their server to...

We’re in the middle of what the New York Times has called the “great gun-buying boom that shows no sign of letting up.” And while the Democrat party spends its time demonizing firearms and those who choose to own them, millions of law-abiding Americans are leveraging their constitutional rights to protect and defend themselves. This is perhaps no clearer than in the shift in sales from long guns, like rifles, to handguns that are designed for personal protection. But with a surge in gun sales of this proportion, we have to ask: Why? In other words, what specifically is driving...

A new study led by Graham Taylor, a Ph.D. student in Portland State's Earth, Environment, and Society program and Paul Loikith, associate professor of geography at PSU, tested how well climate models represent large-scale weather patterns over the Pacific Northwest. Since all computer models have different strengths and weaknesses based on differences in physics, scientists often use the output from many different climate models to assess projections of future climate change. For this study, the researchers used data from the state-of-the-art sixth phase of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP6) to test how well 26 different climate models could simulate...

WASHINGTON, Saturday, Oct. 11 -- 10 P.M. Gen. McClellan telegraphed to the War Office to-day that not one of the rebels in Pennsylvania should return into Virginia. CARLISLE, Saturday, Oct. 11. From the most reliable sources I learn that the cavalry under command of STEWART reached Chambersburgh about 6 o'clock Friday evening. They crossed the Potomac below Hancock, some 40 miles off, proceeding by the way of Mercersburgh and Campbellstown to Chambersburgh. About eight hundred entered the town, the residue remaining a mile outside. A portion of the latter divided -- one part going toward Greencastle, taking with them their...

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the...

A small, unmanned watercraft of unknown origin washed up from the Black Sea on the shore of Crimea, near Russia’s naval base in Sevastopol, late last month. Pictures posted on Russian social media show what appears to be a small, novel surface drone made from commercial watercraft parts laden with explosives that could explain recent Russian Navy trends to keep their warships in port over the last three weeks. The unmanned surface vehicle was not identified by national markings, but the character of the USV and the Russian reaction to destroying the watercraft suggest that the drone originated in Ukraine....

Remember I wrote that “Russian collaborators” (those who couldn’t get out in time) were being subjected to repression by Ukrainian forces? Let’s back up a bit. The “mass graves” discovered in “newly liberated” areas of east Ukraine have FIZZLED. As with the last go-round near Kiev, the MSM quickly lost interest….. …..The U.S. Government never “officially” accused Russia of any particular/specific war crimes….. …..And the matter was not pursued actively (or at all) by the International Criminal Court. Translation: It was all just a bunch of crap, like everything else. Just a bunch of crap, fed to morons. One difference...

A customer says that she tipped $4 on a $17 UberEats order and couldn't get a driver to pick it up in a now-viral TikTok, sparking debate about tipping expectations on delivery apps. In the video posted by TikToker Syd (@stillpoorandhungry) on Oct. 10, she references the viral "table of shame" of UberEats orders that never get picked up due to a low or missing tip. "I ordered my food a really long time ago, and it still doesn't have a driver, so I'm worried that it will end up on that shelf of bad tippers," she says in the...

Biden said Tuesday that the US economy may see a “slight recession” but that he still believes he would “beat Donald Trump again” in 2024. Biden denied the economy is in the midst of a recession — despite meeting the standard definition of two consecutive quarters of contraction — but acknowledged a downturn could happen in an interview on CNN. “I don’t think there will be a recession. If it is, it’ll be a very slight recession. That is, we’ll move down slightly,” Biden told Jake Tapper in the taped, 15-minute interview. “It is possible. Look, it’s possible. I don’t...
