The Ukrainians’ bodies lay side-by-side on the grass, the earth beside them splayed open by a crater. Dragged to the spot by Russian mercenaries, the victims’ arms pointed to where they had died. “Let’s plant a grenade on them,” a voice says in husky Russian, in what appears to be a plan to booby-trap the bodies. “There is no need for a grenade, we will just bash them in,” another says of the Ukrainian soldiers who will come to collect the bodies. The mercenaries then realize they have run out of ammunition. (snip) Wagner’s struggles in Ukraine have set in...

"The truth is on our side and truth is strength!" Vladimir Putin boomed into a microphone on Red Square last week, after a grand ceremony at which he proclaimed four large chunks of Ukrainian territory to be part of Russia. "Victory will be ours!" But in the real world, things look very different. Even as Russia's president signed his illegal annexation treaties in the Kremlin, Ukrainian forces were advancing inside the areas he had just seized. Hundreds of thousands of men have been fleeing Russia rather than be drafted to fight in an expanding war. And things are going so...

During the two months of operation of the grain corridor, 6.2 million tons of agricultural products were already sent from Ukraine, which is 48% of total exports. This was announced by First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and food of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky during a webinar. "Before the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, 80-90% of all agricultural exports were carried out through seaports. Due to their blocking, we had to redistribute export flows to railways, cars, ferry and river ports. Today, thanks to the corridor, more than 270 ships with 6.2 million tons of cargo have already been able...

CNN's New Day aired a segment this morning reporting on the impact of laws in various states restricting abortions. CNN senior medical correspondent Elizabeth Cohen's report viewed the laws strictly from the pro-abortion perspective, bemoaning the absence of abortion clinics in 14 states, and the many abortions that could no longer occur there. Said Cohen: "In these 14 states, the Guttmacher Institute says there are no abortion providers—none [said as if that's a tragedy.] Look at it another way, in 2020, in those 14 states, more than 125,000 women got abortions. So that's the number, per year, more than 125,000...

The Washington Post reported stunning news on Thursday - federal investigators believe they have a chargeable case against Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden. Even more interestingly, they have felt that the case is sufficient to go to court for the past several months, according to the Post. **SNIP** What about those other accusations from the GOP? The scope of the Post’s report does not even begin to touch on all the various crimes GOP politicians, including most notably Donald Trump, have laid at the feet of Hunter Biden for years. Republicans have long alleged that a so-called “laptop...

During the pandemic, gun and ammunition sales spiked dramatically in the United States — particularly among Black women, who have become the fastest growing group of gun owners in the country. “In 2021, we were just coming outta COVID and violence was at an all-time high, riots were at an all-time high and human trafficking is at an all-time high,” licensed gun instructor Robin Evans tells Yahoo Life as a way to explain the rise. “So at that moment, I feel like there was a huge shift in Black people, in general, just wanting to learn how to defend themselves.”...

Street artist LushSux became famous for his portrait of Hillary Clinton in a bikini around the corner from my place in Melbourne. Today in front of a wonderful LushSux portrait of Julian Assange in a back alley in Melbourne, I filmed young freedom activist Javin call on others to join him in the fight against the Socialist left tyranny spreading from the State of Victoria to engulf the whole of Australia. God Bless Freedom. God Bless Javin. Please pray for us.

KYIV, Ukraine—Outside the Giraffe shopping mall on the western edge of Ukraine’s capital, a group of locals prepared to meet the Russian armored column thundering their way. It was late February, and the Russians, from an elite airborne unit, were riding atop their vehicles, as if expecting a warm greeting. One wore a Cossack woolen hat instead of a helmet. Another hadn’t loaded his rifle. The few dozen Ukrainians from the towns of Irpin and Bucha had other intentions, which they had written on the cement mixer and bulldozer that blocked the road: “Welcome to hell.” After Russia launched an...

Manchukuo, Chinese Manzhouguo, puppet state created in 1932 by Japan out of the three historic provinces of Manchuria (northeastern China). After the Russo-Japanese War (1904–05), Japan gained control of the Russian-built South Manchurian Railway, and its army established a presence in the region; expansion there was seen as necessary for Japan’s status as an emerging world power. In 1931 the Japanese army created an excuse to attack Chinese troops there, and in 1932 Manchukuo was proclaimed an “independent” state. The last Qing emperor was brought out of retirement and made Manchukuo’s ruler, but the state was actually rigidly controlled by...
