Russian relevant departments will take control of the operation of the occupied Zaporizhia NPP (ZAES), which until recently worked under the leadership of Ukrainian personnel as part of the United energy system of Ukraine.
This was stated at a briefing by Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Vershinin, writes the Russian "Kommersant".
However, he did not name a specific department.
The Russian official noted that the operation of the station will be discussed with IAEA Director General Raphael Grossi during his visit to Moscow, announced yesterday, October 4.
Earlier, Renat Karchaa, adviser to the general director of Rosenergoatom (part of Rosatom), said that the new general director of ZAES can be appointed under the control of the Russian occupation forces among the "new employees of the station".
In turn, the press service of Energoatom reported that Russia has already created the company "operating Organization of the Zaporozhye NPP".
"The insignificant decisions of Rosatom regarding the creation of the company" operating Organization of Zaporizhia NPP " with a legal address in Moscow are the agony of the imaginary crazy world of the aggressor country, which has now reached the creation of pseudo-enterprises with the names of Ukrainian companies. It's just a pity that they are trying to drag the Ukrainian nuclear power plant workers, who have been working heroically in the occupation for more than 7 months, to it," the report says.

As reported, on September 30, the Russian military detained the general director of Zaporizhia NPP Igor Murashov on the road from the plant to Energodar. After the intervention of the IAEA, he was released on October 3, allowing him to enter the territory controlled by Ukraine.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, Rosatom specialists have already worked at Zaporizhia NPP. In August, Energoatom reported on Rosatom's plans to disconnect the ZAES from the Ukrainian energy system and reconnect the station to the Crimean energy system, which is currently being implemented by the invaders.
Zaporizhia NPP is Europe's largest nuclear power plant with installed capacity. Its six VVER-1000 power units were built according to the B-320 project. the first power unit was put into operation in December 1984, the sixth – in October 1995.
Now the power plant is under the control of the invaders, but operates in the energy system of Ukraine. Source: https://biz.censor.net/n3371665
there’s also too many RUSSIAN propagandists here on FR too
you’d know all about that
I believe Putin is aiming to control all European energy: gas/oil/nuclear power plants.
He may threaten nuclear weapons, but his dream is to be Emperor of energy:

There's plenty of Ukraine shills here on Freerepublic as well. Both sides are equally dirty.
Someone please relieve my confusion.
Is the Zaporizhia reactor complex someplace other than Zaporizhia? The city of Zaporizhia seems to be safely in Ukraine controlled territory.
“ I believe Putin is aiming to control all European energy: gas/oil/nuclear power plants.”

Well then you’d be wrong. It’s pretty clear that he doesn’t give a rat’s behind about the nuclear power plants in western Ukraine… you know, the homeland of the “ethnic Ukrainians “
“It was built by the Soviet Union near the city of Enerhodar, on the southern shore of the Kakhovka Reservoir on the Dnieper river.”
