Grandkids are supposed to steal your heart — not your house. A Brooklyn woman allegedly hijacked her grandmother’s longtime home by forging the elder’s signature on a fake deed and filing it with the city — then took out a $399,000 mortgage on the property, according to a $5 million lawsuit. Leonita Arbuckle, 77, bought her two-story, multi-family Flatbush house with her husband Selwyn in 1972 for $31,650, dutifully paying off the mortgage in 1995. But the retired nurse got a letter in May claiming the property had been transferred to her granddaughter, Jaishree Arbuckle-Pierre, for $1, the grandmother charges...

The White House said on Wednesday that 'it's clear' the OPEC+ oil alliance 'is aligning with Russia' after it announced a massive production cut of two million barrels. It stands to be a big boost for Moscow, despite the West's efforts to choke off oil and gas revenues as a source of cashflow to fund Russia's illegal invasion of Ukraine. Meanwhile American drivers could face another increase in gas prices in what could end up being a massive setback for the Biden administration.

Second, the amount to be forwarded to the Big Guy is going from 10% to 15% because of inflation. All departments, agencies and contractors are required to forward 15% of all bribes, kickbacks, etc. to the Big Guy's account. Hunter, Janet Yelling and the Federal Reserve will...

Put another notch in Major League Baseball’s woke belt. Particularly the Boston Red Sox, who turned a ceremonial first pitch into an indoctrination of critical race theory (CRT). On Monday night, the Bosox invited Ibram X. Kendi to throw out the first pitch – usually an innocuous event. But he’s been throwing deceitful pitches at public education for some time now. Honoring him at a game is as good as promoting what he's specifically known for. Kendi is a radical Boston University professor, a peddler of critical race theory, a contributor to a book followup to the farcical 1619 Project...

With Hurricane Ian devastating much of Florida, street stock racer Jeff Stalnaker locked his two race cars in a trailer to keep them safe from the storm. While the hurricane ended up sparing Stalnaker's hometown of Ocala, Florida, he ended up suffering costly damages anyway. A thief backed his truck up to Stalnaker's gooseneck trailer, hitched it up, and drove it away, unaware of its contents. Apparently, the thief was disappointed with his race car look, so he ended up burying the two cars in an abandoned sand pit. Thankfully, due to the impressive detective work done by Stalnaker, his...

President Joe Biden falsely claimed Wednesday he almost lost his entire house to a fire while speaking to Florida hurricane victims. “I know from experience how much anxiety and fear concern are to other people,” Biden said. “We didn’t lose our whole home but lightning struck and we lost an awful lot of it about 15 years ago.”

President Joe Biden met with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Wednesday and toured neighborhoods in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, but he immediately pivoted to global warming. “I think the one thing this has finally ended is the discussion about whether or not there’s climate change, and we should do something about it,” Biden said shortly after beginning his remarks.

President Joe Biden has thrown his political weight behind Democrat midterm candidates in 2022 less than former Presidents Trump and Barack Obama did in 2018 and 2010, Air Force One logs show. Biden’s political calculation to remain in Washington, DC, and not fly around the nation to bolster support for House and Senate candidates is notable because multiple Democrat candidates appear willing to go without the president’s ability to drive campaign fundraising and local media attention.

On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Situation Room,” Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) reacted to OPEC’s announced production cut by stating that President Joe Biden’s trip to Saudi Arabia was a bad idea, and “I thought that we had to get much tougher with the Saudis.” And that “this move was done between MBS and Putin and others who want to affect the U.S. election.” Host Pamela Brown said, “Congresswoman, what did President Biden get out of his fist bump with the Saudi crown prince, when the Saudi-led coalition is now going ahead with this major cut? I remember, at the time,...

The FBI said murder rates in the US rose by 4.3 percent and rapes by 3.9 percent last year, but the numbers don't include the crime-ridden cities of New York or Los Angeles. In its annual analysis of crime in America, the FBI said their were about 22,900 murders in 2021, up from the 22,000 in 2020, which saw homicides soar by nearly 30 percent. The FBI also saw 107,500 rape reports, nearly a 4 percent increase, but overall crime was reportedly down 1 percent since robberies fell by 8.2 percent and aggravated assaults remained at about the same level...

After taking the life of an elderly married man and dearly loved father, Jennifer Higgins Bradanini was supposed to go to jail for six months, complete 350 hours of community service, pay $183,857 in restitution, and be on probation for two years. Even though the initial sentence was considered lenient, and outraged the victim’s family, the sentence later was unexpectedly modified. The six-month jail time became home confinement with an electronic monitoring device. Shortly thereafter, Higgins was seen on social media dancing with an ankle bracelet on a rally stage in Los Angeles. In divorce court, a family law judge...

The political scientist Eric Kaufmann is no bringer of good news for us conservatives. In his latest CSPI research, there's a lot of handwriting on the wall for our kind. I tell you this not to discourage you, but to help you understand the immensity of the task in front of us. I know reading my blog can be awfully discouraging, but I firmly believe that real despair is to turn away from hard truths because they are too discouraging. If we are going to resist this tide, we need to know exactly what we are facing. I'll be taping...

Explanation: What happens if you crash a spaceship into an asteroid? In the case of NASA's DART spaceship and the small asteroid Dimorphos, as happened last week, you get quite a plume. The goal of the planned impact was planetary protection -- to show that the path of an asteroid can be slightly altered, so that, if done right, a big space rock will miss the Earth. The high brightness of the plume, though, was unexpected by many, and what it means remains a topic of research. One possibility is that 170-meter wide Dimorphos is primarily a rubble pile asteroid...

"But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." "Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?" Matthew, Chapter 6 1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise...
