Gospel of Matthew Ch. 6 and 1 Corinthians Ch. 11
The Holy Bible (KJV) ^

Posted on 10/05/2022 2:48:19 PM PDT by Faith Presses On

"But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly."

"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."

"Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?"

Matthew, Chapter 6

1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;

18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

1 Corinthians, Chapter 11

1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.

3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.

5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.

12 For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.

13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.

17 Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.

18 For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

20 When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord’s supper.

21 For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.

22 What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.

23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.

27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.

34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

1 Corinthians 11:8-9

8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

Feminists and libs have had issues with that since the garden.

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

There's an interesting ellipsis/no ellipsis detail going on here, because the context works either way. Something lost in translation? The words added by translators, set in brackets:

Matthew 6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, [shall he] not much more [clothe] you, O ye of little faith?

The world is a fiery furnace. Make it work *for* you. The Spirit of God flips curses into blessings. Even say, water into wine.

BTW anyone can have a little fun doing this with a little knowledge of the basic components of the Hebrew words and letters:

Water is "mayim" [מים], represented by the letter mem [מ] which = 40.

There's a traditional saying that "When wine enters, secrets are revealed" because wine [יין] = secret [סוד] = 70 [ע].

I provided that background to show that the letters of the word sod [secret, סוד] are the same as the numeral 40 (symbolic of water, new beginnings). Simply take the "L" (El) part of the 4 and flip it around 180 (the degrees representing a complete change of direction), then set it down to the left of the vertical line.

40 (water) becomes

סוד

which as explained above, = wine

Ha, "they" say that 70 is the new 50. Looks like it should be that 70 [ע] is the new 40 [מ]. Together they spell "am" [people, עם], which adds up to 110, the age of the life of Joseph (also Joshua). 110 also spells "from wine" [מיין], the letter mem + wine, which also spells the place of the first light on the United States of America [Maine, מיין].

Tomorrow marks the location shift to the iy har hamidbar [אי הר המדבר], "island of the wilderness mountain."

Genesis 41:38 And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?

***

I always find the best stuff by taking to heart a simple lesson from Maria, who explained to the children that "Do Re Mi Fa So and so on are only the tools we use to build a song. Once we have these notes in our heads, we can sing a million different tunes by mixing them up, like this."

The *last* thing any establishment business model wants to do is to learn a new song. They don't call it the Establishment (with a capital E, no less) for nothing.

Well *somebody* has to bring music back into the house.

On one hand, Maria was a perplexing problem. How do you to solve a problem like Maria?

On the other hand, infuriating Maria not only brought music back into the house, her music lead to the great exodus of the entire family.

Even Hollywood gets used for the revelation of secrets, because who's going to look there, in Tinseltown?! The best place to hide stuff is in plain sight. For good or for evil, Hollywood can deliver a message all around the world. Artistic license.

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field...

Anyone who has traced the source of the iconic movie bowling shirt "Medina Sod" would find a big field over there on "pour" road:

10972 Porr Road
Doylestown, Ohio 44230

But wait, "the oiled stone"/"oil's town" is north of the pin on their map. That same address tossed in a generic search begets:

10972 Porr Rd Marshallville, OH 44645

That's kind of funny because the top result (for the Doylestown addy) goes to Trulia, which parked its house pin in the middle of a weird little web of dirt road paths in Marshallville.

What an untangled web we perceive, when first we practice to believe.

"When you know the notes to sing, you can sing most anything."

14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Eyes are the windows to the soul.

Medina Sod:

Standard time (winter/snooze time) in the United States runs for 127 days (128 when ending in a leap year).

"We shall see what will become of his dreams."

(The well is deep.)

I’ve just been thinking about the effects of devotion to “Gaia” and Eve, the natural rather than the spiritual. But thankfully it’s only getting darker because the dawn is coming, too.
