Two months ago, former President Donald Trump and the Republican establishment joined forces to elevate Tudor Dixon in Michigan’s messy GOP primary for governor, signaling a united front against Democratic incumbent Gretchen Whitmer. But since then, national Republicans have largely abandoned Dixon, leaving her to fend for herself in a state that was supposed to be one of the party’s top targets in 2022. Trump may be the exception. He’s scheduled to headline a Saturday rally for Dixon and other GOP candidates in the state. His visit comes at a time when Whitmer and the Democratic groups supporting her re-election...

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the...

MOSCOW, September 29. /TASS/. NATO member countries conducted drills in July using deep-sea equipment near the Nord Streams leaks site, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing on Thursday. "In July, there were NATO drills with the use of deep-sea equipment in the area of the island of Bornholm," she said. Zakharova also stressed that the region was crammed with NATO infrastructure. On Tuesday, the Nord Stream AG company reported that three threads of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 offshore gas pipelines had suffered unprecedented damage on Monday. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Moscow was...

After the fall of the Soviet Union, Moscow did everything it could to maintain its status as a superpower — including as a permanent member of the UN Security Council. When it became clear that Russia could not claim a right to the spot as an economic power, it instead defined its greatness in military terms. Over the decades, Russia's army has been touted as one of the strongest in the world. Indeed, a nuclear-armed military. As if to remind the world of this fact, President Vladimir Putin has regularly treated both Russians and the world to perfectly choreographed parades...

In today's world, discernment is a critical tool for parents raising their children. This includes when dealing with schools that claim to be Christian. A parent or guardian needs to be diligent and discerning in all matters concerning their child or children. This was the case for Misty Dunham when she observed an unusual homework assignment her 8-year-old daughter was given by her teacher. The assignment was to take a picture while reading in the bathtub, and this did not sit well with Misty. Dunham reached out to the teacher saying, "I emailed the teacher [to say] 'Hey, you may...

According to James 1:8, A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Christians must never abdicate biblical responsibilities upon entering the voting booth. While we render to Caesar what is Caesar’s, we must first render to God what is His. God instituted religion and politics; therefore, he has Supreme Authority over both. The Christian who attempts to separate the influence of faith over politics, forgets that Caesar is subject to God as are we. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7)...

A media exercise in humiliation, and an element of war crimes With Ukraine now on the offensive, Russia announced just a few days ago that it would no longer try to hold “referendums” on the territory it occupies in Ukraine. Then, coinciding with Putin’s speech yesterday, this policy reversed, and now “referendums” are supposedly being held — more or less instantaneously, right now, under conditions of war. People are struggling for a way to speak of this nonsense without using the word “referendum,” which in this context is obviously misleading propaganda, to say the least. It is best to regard...

... Much of the coverage of friendshoring has focussed on manufacturing and design capabilities, the market share of chip firms and political posturing. But friendshoring and the US Chip 4 policy are ultimately about the people, or “friends”, behind these technological innovations. Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan have chipmaking “godfathers” — people acclaimed for their crucial roles in developing semiconductor capacity. Yet several of these “godfathers” have proven to be “frenemies” to their own companies after being poached by competitors — including Chinese market entrants. Yukio Sakamoto, dubbed the “godfather of Japan’s DRAM”, was the president of the former semiconductor...

Pennsylvania GOP Governor Candidate Doug Mastriano released a great campaign ad today. It says everything you need to know about Mastriano and what he will do on his first day on the job. Citizen Free Press and Jenna Ellis noted Mastriano’s excellent campaign ad. Mastriano is more than words like other politicians, Mastriano has consistently backed his words with actions. He recently filed a lawsuit against the Jan 6 Committee. He was one of the few individuals to visit the Maricopa Audit in Arizona. But whenever Mastriano tried to do something, he was blocked by the RINOs running the GOP...

The Bible In Paintings 2 ENCOURAGEMENT FOR APPRECIATING AND APPLYING GOD'S WORD GABRIEL'S AMAZING NEWS FOR MARY L U K E CHAPTER 1 In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But the angel said to her,...

If a week is a long time in politics, 24-hours can seem like an eternity, especially when a White House administration is confused by basic historical facts. U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris amply illustrated this Thursday when she ended her four-day trip to Asia with a journey to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) dividing the Korean Peninsula. During the stop she confused onlooks by asserting the United States has a “strong alliance” with “the Republic of North Korea.”

A Democrat former congressman has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for election fraud charges. The judge threw the book at a corrupt former Rep. Michael “Ozzie” Myers (D-PA), jailing the 79-year-old Philadelphia politician for multiple voter fraud felonies. Myers was sentenced to 30 months in prison, with three years of supervised release, and ordered to pay $100,000 in fines. $10,000 of the fine was due immediately. United States District Court Judge Paul S. Diamond threw the book at Myers after the disgraced Democrat plead guilty to conspiracy to deprive voters of civil rights, bribery, obstruction of justice, falsification...

The European Union's Frontex border control agency said 66,000 Russians have entered the EU in the past week. This represents a 30% increase compared with the previous week, according to the agency. It said that most of the crossings were occurring at the Finnish and Estonian sections of the border. According to Frontex, most arrivals had visas, residence permits or dual citizenship. Frontex predicted that illegal border crossings could increase if the Kremlin decides to close Russia's borders for potential conscripts. Thousands of military-age men have been leaving Russia since President Vladimir Putin announced a "partial" mobilization last week.

Republican Mehmet Oz has further put himself within striking distance of his Democrat opponent in the Pennsylvania U.S. Senate race, with the latest Fox News poll showing he trails by just four points. Surveying 1,008 registered Pennsylvania voters between September 22-26 with a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points, the new poll puts Fetterman at 45 percent while Oz stands at 41 percent, a full four points within the sampling error and a tremendous surge for Oz, who trailed Fetterman by 11 points in late July. Neither candidate enjoys majority support, with the three percent going...

At this point, one almost has to admire the denial on display in Moscow. Having held absurdly cooked referenda in parts of Ukraine no longer fully in Russian control with absurdly cooked results, Vladimir Putin will hold an equally absurd annexation ceremony tomorrow. Putin will officially claim sovereignty over four areas in which the Ukrainian army is presently pushing Russian troops out: (snip) What is the popular definition of insanity again? Putin has been trying to split the West from Ukraine, and/or split the West generally over the war, ever since he launched it. Instead, the US-EU alliance has gotten...

Hello tinnitus, my old friend You've come to sing to me again I hear the sound of dentists drilling Of sinks of water over-filling And the sound is ringing in my brain It will remain It is the sound of tinnitus In restless dreams, I hear the tone I know I’ll never be alone You’re always there when I wake up You say we never will break up When I lay down my head to sleep at night After I turn out the light I miss the sound of silence They say they’re searching for a cure Ten thousand doctors,...

The results of Italy's general election could alter the balance of power within the EU, with far-right, eurosceptic parties set to helm the next government in Rome. Italy is making something of a U-turn from Mario Draghi’s premiership, which put Italy back in the driving seat of Europe and bolstered the influence of a country accustomed to punching below its weight. ADVERTISING Draghi sent out a warning to the right-wing coalition poised to succeed him at the helm of the EU’s third-largest economy as he wrapped up his last press conference, a week before Italy’s election. “We have a certain...
