The European Union's Frontex border control agency said 66,000 Russians have entered the EU in the past week.
This represents a 30% increase compared with the previous week, according to the agency. It said that most of the crossings were occurring at the Finnish and Estonian sections of the border.
According to Frontex, most arrivals had visas, residence permits or dual citizenship.
Frontex predicted that illegal border crossings could increase if the Kremlin decides to close Russia's borders for potential conscripts.
Thousands of military-age men have been leaving Russia since President Vladimir Putin announced a "partial" mobilization last week.

American Vietnam War draft dodgers, deserters, and dissenters estimated at 125,000 +/- fled to Canada between 1964 and 1977.
Did “the last man” in America “turn out the lights”?
Let me/us know, propaganda peddler, kthx.
Or is it by the post?
Maybe the USA needs to do a draft of legal and illegal men.
It’s the 1960’s all over again! Only in REVERSE!....................
I don’t know if it’s still policy, but it used to be a way to get citizenship faster if you volunteered for military service as an alien..................
I thought illegal aliens were a good thing.
Welcome to Canada!!
Sounds like hey just emptied Russia of wankers and idiots...
Thecactual number is 1/6th whatever the media reports as a rule of thumb.
I refuse to believe any of the propaganda that is put out by either side, until some independent organization fact checks it.
Are people fleeing Russia because of Putin’s call up? Perhaps they are, maybe they are not.
I would also ask, if the USA reinstated the draft this year, how many Americans would flee to Canada and Mexico to avoid the draft ??
Given how divided this country is, I think the number of people fleeing would be much greater than those who fled back in the Vietnam War era.
Thats over 13 years.
Russia has had at least that many in a week, counting those who have also made it to Turkey, Georgia, Kazakhstan and etc.
Thats almost half the “300,000”. Or 12.5% of the million, etc.
And thats with a much lower population base of military age males vs the US in the 60’s.
Don’t give one sh*t if its from last century.
If one is going to attempt to place one thing in a bad light, then expect the same to be utilized as a counter.
The media here is just citing an EU agency, which is citing national border guards of Finland, Estonia, etc. as the EU doesnt have their own border guards. I should know, I regularly cross EU borders.
Information is information. The way the MSM twists things is generally by publishing datum X and not separate datum Y, that may add petspective. It may prefer to cite an authority that is itself lying. But actually falsifying what a report says or what a person says is rarer.
LOL, Near the Georgia border crossing into Russia, protesters are playing the Ukrainian national anthem and trolling the Russians who are leaving. ‘In surveys, most of you support the war. So why now are you leaving?’ reads the sign carried by the man draped in the Ukraine flag.
Furthermore, 300,000 is a little more than 1% of the 25 million reserves.
But it is dirty pool to avoid math!
Math is vital to a sense of perspective.
It is also Gods gift to us.
125,000 ÷ (13x52) = 185/week US people (on average) running off to Canada during the Vietnam war.
Now, also using Gods gift to us of common sense, 66,000 + another 66,000 as a ballpark number of everyone else fleeing Russia other than directly through EU nations crossing points, we have maybe 132,000/week.
132,000 > 185. Or 185 is .14% the RATE of weekly draft avoidance.
What the totals will be, eventually, who knows. But its clear that it is going to be a vastly more consequential problem for Russia than it ever was for the US.
He's so awesome!
It’s good that you consistently avoid that the Russians have a 25 million man reserve potential to pull from too......
Is this lot thats fleeing a % of the (very theoretical) reserves, or of those already called up, or of those in that 300,000-1,000,000?
Note that 25 million is nearly all the fighting age male population of Russia (given Russian demographics) including nearly all its productive workers.
