There is a lot of talk in America today about “transgender rights.” News outlets talk about “transgender athletes ,” “transgender prisoners ,” and “transgender students .” Our society is steeped in debate about so-called transgenderism. However, I see very few people asking the question, “What does ‘transgender’ mean?” or “What exactly is ‘trans?’” The crux of the matter is this: People across the political spectrum have been persuaded to accept that there is a coherent category of people for whom sex is irrelevant and that this category of people is called “transgender” (or simply “trans”). Democrats on the whole support...

Research shows that common chronic diseases and problems associated with oral health have a detrimental and long-term reciprocal effect on each other. The predictive value of oral health for the onset of various chronic diseases was investigated through a 10-year follow-up. A key finding was that periodontitis (a disease of the connective tissue of teeth) has a particular link with diabetes. "We know from prior studies that periodontitis has a connection to many chronic diseases. Thanks to our exceptionally long-term dataset, we were able to analyze causalities and bidirectional effects between these factors," says Pia Heikkilä. The results of the...

A man accused of raping his teenage relative secured a sweetheart plea deal from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg — and then went on to allegedly sexually terrorize five people in the Bronx just a month later, The Post has learned. Justin Washington, 25, was promised a plum 30-day jail sentence, along with five years of probation, after he agreed in August to plead down to a charge of coercion in his Manhattan rape case. But just a week before he was set to be sentenced Wednesday, Washington allegedly went on a sex-crime spree, attacking four women and a man...

A Michigan candidate for the US House backed by former President Donald Trump once railed against giving women the right to vote, arguing that America has “suffered” since women’s suffrage. John Gibbs, who defeated in the primary an incumbent Republican who had voted to impeach Trump, also made comments in the early 2000s praising an organization trying to repeal the 19th Amendment which also argued that women’s suffrage had made the United States into a “totalitarian state.” Hosted on Gibbs’ personal page at Stanford in 2000 and 2001, the Society for the Critique of Feminism argued for a patriarchal society...

The wives of border patrol agents are running for Congress after becoming fed up with what their husbands have to deal with under President Joe Biden's immigration policies. Of the three running for Congress, Representative Mayra Flores already won a special election in June to replace a Democratic congressman who left mid-term in Texas' 34th congressional district. The other two are Cassy Garcia, who beat out six other Republicans to take on Democrat Representative Henry Cuellar and Irene Armendariz-Jackson, who quit her job as a Realtor in El Paso to challenge Democratic Representative Veronica Escobar. If Garcia and Armendariz-Jackson are...

US President Joe Biden on Thursday welcomed Prime Minister Yair Lapid’s speech at the UN General Assembly, in which he expressed support for a “two-state solution” for the Israel-Palestinian Arab conflict. “I welcome Prime Minister Lapid's courageous statement at the UN General Assembly: ‘An agreement with the Palestinians, based on two states for two peoples, is the right thing for Israel’s security, for Israel’s economy, and for the future of our children,’” ...

"And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God." "Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest." "" Revelation, Chapter 15 1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven...

California has already set itself up for future energy failures by banning the sale of new gas-powered cars starting in 2035. But now, the state has set a deadline to eliminate commercial diesel trucks as well. California is preparing to ban the sale of commercial diesel trucks by 2040 and require trucks entering ports and rail yards to be zero-emission vehicles by 2035. Some companies, such as Walmart and Amazon, would have until 2042 to convert their trucks to electric. California does not have the infrastructure to support such a plan, according to Chris Shimoda, the vice president of the...

When Ron DeSantis is consulting renowned experts about whether or not to run for president in 2024, the man he is most likely to listen to is President Chris Christie. Well, not literally listen. He’ll instead learn from the potential prezzy who ended up presiding in network green rooms instead of the White House because he declined to run when he had his big – well, everything about him is big – chance in 2012. The Gov will also look to the lessons of President Mario Cuomo. These two guys hesitated and missed their window, just like there are some...

DESPERATE Russians are frantically attempting to flee the country to avoid being catapulted to the frontline amid Putin's call up. Huge queues have built at the borders with Finland, Georgia and Mongolia as tens of thousands try to escape being sent into the tyrant’s “meatgrinder”. Protest erupted in 38 cities after Putin announced a partial mobilisation in a TV address to bolster crumbling efforts in Ukraine. But they have been met with baton-wielding cops, with at least 1,386 people arrested. As the fear of conscription ripples through Russia, some men have been hauled out of bed in the middle of...

The Toyota electric sedan will begin its journey in China, with European sales likely to follow in 2024. Toyota has made it clear time and time again that it has no interest in rushing into fully electric cars. However, it will listen to its customers and follow the market's needs. In order to chip away at some of Tesla's growing market share in China and Europe, the Japanese automaker is ready to bring its fully electric sedan to market. As Toyota slowly moves forward with EVs, it has developed its own proprietary global platform that's designed for electric cars from...

The same petulant Washington Post columnist who became notorious for doxxing the user behind the Libs of TikTok Twitter account and misrepresenting her dealings with two YouTube content creators is back whining about “harassment” on social media. The Post’s in-house crybully columnist Taylor Lorenz released a new victim piece with a headline that reeked of hypocrisy: “YouTube remains rife with misogyny and harassment, creators say.” Lorenz wielded a YouTube-focused book by Bloomberg technology reporter Mark Bergen to claim “[W]omen creators” were “dealing with vicious harassment, bullying, and stalking,” channeling similar language she used to whine that MSNBC didn’t correctly address...

The nation is grappling with multiple domestic crises. The baby formula shortage is an ongoing pickle that the Biden administration has yet to resolve. The same lethargic and non-committal resolve could be applied to the lagging economy and the soaring inflation plaguing America’s working families. We’re approaching the end of the 2022 midterm cycle, and the economy is in recession. There are whole schools of fish that are bigger to fry, but some reporters at The Washington Post have this unhealthy obsession with the owner behind the Libs of Tik Tok account on Twitter

The suicide on Sept. 18 of an unidentified woman who had sought asylum at a shelter in New York, one of 180 cities and counties with so-called sanctuary policies that have received an influx of illegal aliens from border states in recent weeks, highlights the unpreparedness of municipal officials for the consequences of their stated positions on immigration, experts say. In the scramble to avoid blame, some officials have pointed their finger at the governors of Florida, Texas, and other states who are simply acting in accordance with the policy of offering sanctuary to those who cross borders into the...
