Gary Gensler is the current head of the SEC. He was formerly Hillary’s campaign CFO. He’s tied into the Durham investigation. The former Director of the SEC under President Trump, Bill Hinman was involved in what is now considered criminal activities related to cryptocurrency activities with China. These people are above the law. No agency is safe. They all seem to take advantage of their positions to make money and stomp on the little people. We noted previously that the current head of the SEC was Hillary’s attorney when millions of dollars were flowing around with some paying for the...

At drag brunch at Wynwood’s R House on Saturday, the mimosas were flowing, sashed and veiled brides-to-be were dancing in their seats and the dollar bills were flying. It was business as usual for the performers and the clients, with a few subtle nods to the state’s threat to shut down the iconic drag spot over a viral video showing a provocatively dressed R House drag performer holding hands with a young girl wearing a tiara. The state’s complaint, filed Wednesday, said drag performances in front of children “corrupts the public morals and outrages the sense of public decency.” Florida...

An elderly convenience store owner in California is being hailed as a hero after he shot at a would-be robber who ran out of the store screaming that his arm was “shot off.” Shocking surveillance footage from Norco Market & Liquor in the 2800 block of Clark Avenue in Norco, Calif., showed a masked assailant entering the business at about 2:47 a.m. with an AR-15-style rifle pointed at the 80-year-old store owner. This should have been a Monty Python sketch, along the lines of the “Dead Parrot” classic. Germany’s leading center-right newspaper Die Welt posted a banner headline at the top of its page last Friday evening just before Shabbat came in here in New York: “[Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andrej] Melnyk’s statement trivializes the Holocaust.” In a radio interview last week, Melnyk compared Ukrainian Nazi leader Stephan Bandera to Robin Hood and vehemently denied—in the face of massive historical documentation—that Bandera had helped to murder 800,000 Ukrainian Jews during World War II.” The Banderites also helped to murder between 40,000 and...

“When He came to the other side into the country of the Gadarenes, two men who weredemon-possessed met Him . . . and they cried out, saying, ‘What business do we have with each other, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?’” (Matthew 8:28–29). Demons can attack people mentally, physically, or spiritually. Spiritually, they oppose true religion, promote the false, and control the occult. Intellectually, they advocate false ideologies, insanity, and masochism. Our Lord always recognized demonized people as being victims of powers beyond their control and in need of deliverance, not condemnation or...

Russia is facing “economic oblivion” in the long term because of international sanctions and the flight of businesses, several economists have said. ... However, many economists see long-lasting costs to the Russian economy from the exit of foreign firms – which will hit production capacity and capital and result in a “brain drain” – along with the loss of its long-term oil and gas markets and diminished access to critical imports of technology and inputs.

HEADQUARTERS OF THE ARMY OF THE POTOMAC, Friday, Aug. 1. About 12 o'clock last night the rebels opened fire from the opposite side of the river with two batteries of light artillery. The rebel pieces were handled well, and fired with great rapidity. Four men were killed and some five or six wounded. Several horses also were killed. The rebels had it all their own way for some time, as our troops did not anticipate an attack, but...

Asked how the US-provided Himars multiple-launch rocket systems have so precisely targeted Russian fuel and ammunition depots, as well as battlefield headquarters in eastern Ukraine, Gen Skibitsky said “in this case in particular, we use real-time information”. US officials are not providing direct targeting information, which would potentially undermine their case for not being direct participants in the war, Gen Skibitsky said. However, he suggested there was a level of consultation between intelligence officials of both countries prior to launching missiles that would allow Washington to stop any potential attacks if they were unhappy with the intended target. “I can’t...

As I write this, I can hear a cardinal trilling in the backyard. I don’t have to look out the open window to confirm the source of the sounds that come through it; I’ve come to recognize the songs and their singers. I know it’s the mourning dove whose cooing wakes me in the morning and the sparrow whose repetitive chirps complete the sunrise chorus. Watching birds perched on a branch or visiting a feeder imparts a certain connection to nature that little else does, and, for me at least, listening to their melodies alleviates stress. Birds are also the...

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the...
