CNN - White House economic adviser Jared Bernstein told CNN on Sunday that President Joe Biden will pursue his climate agenda “with or without Congress,” following the news Thursday that West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin wouldn’t back climate or tax provisions in his party’s budget reconciliation package. “I think the President is very much, and very compelled to get Congress to work with him on his climate agenda. He’s already taken unprecedented action, and I think this is important because if he can’t find a legislative path to clean energy, the urgency of the problem is so significant that,...

I don’t want to live in a society where fun memes like “Florida man” are destroyed by progressives’ ugly manipulations of language. “Florida person with a penis” just isn’t that catchy, and it wrecks the whole rhythm of the gag. Yet such is the kind of linguistic atrocity being wreaked on grade schoolers by some Sunshine State pointy heads. According to FoxNews.com, “P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School, a K-12 public school affiliated with the University of Florida in Gainesville, administered a slideshow lesson on human anatomy for 6th-grade students in May.” according to FNC. (Wasn’t Public Developmental Research School one...

On one occasion, comedian and film director Mel Brooks said, “The only weapon I’ve got is comedy…if I can make this guy [Adolf Hitler] ludicrous, if I can make you laugh at him, then it’s a victory of sorts. You can’t get on the soapbox with these orators…but if you can make them look ridiculous, you can win over the people.” As Thomas More observed of Satan, “the proud spirit cannot endure to be mocked.” If we consult the dark history of totalitarianism, we will see that any ideological and authoritarian system abhors humor. State-appointed writers, tasked with the grave...

Jill Biden has said her husband 'had so many hopes' when he got into office, but there were 'problems of the moment' that needed to be addressed first. The First Lady, 71, spoke at a fundraising event for the Democratic National Committee in Nantucket, Massachusetts, on Saturday. '[The President] had so many hopes and plans for things he wanted to do, but every time you turned around, he had to address the problems of the moment,' she told donors at the event. 'He's just had so many things thrown his way,' she added. During his presidency, Biden has faced Russia's...

Tehran is technically capable of making a nuclear bomb but has yet to decide whether to build it, a senior adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei told Al Jazeera's Arabic service on Sunday. Tehran will also directly respond against Israel should its security be targeted, the report says citing the advisor. "In a few days we were able to enrich uranium up to 60% and we can easily produce 90% enriched uranium ... Iran has the technical means to produce a nuclear bomb but there has been no decision by Iran to build one," Kamal Kharrazi said.

LaTanya Gordon thinks she knows who killed her sons. Her eldest, 20-year-old Tyler “Ty Ty” Malden, was shot in the head and an arm on April 6, 2020, targeted in a drive-by attack in an alley in the 10000 block of South Torrence Avenue. As rumors drifted through the neighborhood, Gordon says a young man began “bragging on Facebook that he did the murder.” Her other son, 15-year-old Terrance “Munchie” Malden, joined a chorus of neighbors who spoke out about the man’s claims. Months later, that July 10, Terrance was killed, struck in the back in a drive-by shooting in...

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia—For Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, his high-profile meeting with President Biden was an immediate victory, signaling that his isolation on the world stage is over. But the American president will have to wait weeks, perhaps months, before the world knows if his sojourn to the Middle East paid off for the U.S. On Saturday, Mr. Biden left Saudi Arabia, the second and final stop on a four-day Middle East tour that also took him to Israel. His aim was to reaffirm U.S. ties with an oil-rich region, following a rift with Saudi leaders after Mr. Biden...

The Federal Reserve has behaved like buckaroos! Why? Since the financial crisis, The Fed has left its enormous monetary stimulus outstanding for too long. The Fed initiated asset purchases in a series of moves (aka, QE) culminating in Covid QE that has been barley removed. With The Fed’s stimulypto (and Federal spending), we have seen the S&P 500 index soar along with home prices. Of course, this begs the question as to whether the stock market and housing market can withstand The Fed’s tightening plans. A closer look at the S&P 500 index and the Case-Shiller National home price index...

With Covid-19 cases on the rise worldwide, World Health Organization Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus asked on Tuesday for authorities to reinstate masking, ventilation, and social isolation. Speaking amid a press briefing, Tedros said that “the virus is running freely, and countries are not effectively managing the disease.”

President Biden accused Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister of lying when he contradicted the president’s claim that had raised the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi with Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman and bristled when asked about the fist bump with the royal. Returning early Sunday morning to the White House after his four-day trip to Israel and Saudi Arabia, Biden was asked whether Adel al-Jubier was telling the truth when he said he didn’t hear the president bring up Khashoggi with the prince, commonly referred to as MBS. “No,” Biden responded bluntly, according to a White House pool report. The president,...

The EU's top diplomat has issued a statement expressing sympathy ahead of the day nearly eight years ago that local separatists working with a missile system deployed by Russian intelligence officials are accused of having shot down Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 over eastern Ukraine. -snip- Russian suspect Oleg Pulatov, a former officer of the Russian Army, in 2014 headed a unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate in a region of eastern Ukraine controlled by Russia-backed separatists. Pulatov was involved in the transport and protection of a Buk antiaircraft missile system that investigators say fired the missile that brought down the...

FORENOTES: Peter Navarro is a plain spoken American who holds a PhD from Harvard in Economics. He was the architect for President Trump's trade and economic goal to restructure American supply chains where Americans make things again. He was also behind making China pay Tariffs to finance the economic overhaul of manufacturing inside the United States. Dr. Navarro is an author of numerous books including "In Trump Time". He is a frequent guest and occasional cohost of Steve Bannon’s War Room. Dr. Navarro was summoned by the J6 committee, but declined to testify citing Executive Privilege under President Trump. I am writing the introduction to this article two days before Pres. Biden visits the Middle East. I have read that he plans to: Demand major concessions from Israel. Emphasize his commitment to the Two-State Solution. Give $100 million to the terrorists in Gaza. Plead with Saudi Arabia to pump more oil but refuse to shake MLB’s hand. It seems like this self-described “good Catholic” is on the wrong side of God, Jesus, and almost everything Biblical: He doesn’t want Jews building houses on land that God gave to them in an everlasting covenant. He wants to divide Israel even...

Reddit has banned the anti-LGBTQ+ slur “groomer” under its hate speech policy, as well as any other reference to LGBTQ+ people as “paedophiles”. The vile slur, which conflates LGBTQ+ identities with paedophilia, has been increasing in use online, and has now been banned by Reddit as hate speech. Journalist Alejandra Caraballo explained on Twitter that the social media platform will now “enforce their hate speech policy on content that utilizes the groomer libel”, which means that posts containing the slur will break Reddit policy and could be taken down. https://www.pinknews.co.uk/2022/07/15/groomer-reddit-lgbtq-ban/

Sean Nemeth, the owner of a plug-in hybrid Chrysler Pacifica, was perplexed when earlier this year he received a rather surprising recall notice, advising him to park his vehicle outside and away from structures. The notice informed him that his particular model is at risk of catching fire—even while stationary and turned off—and the cause is still unknown. “What am I supposed to do with it then?” said Mr. Nemeth, recalling his reaction at the time. He eventually decided to park it across the street from his house in a low-traffic cul-de-sac. His predicament has become more commonplace in recent...

Combustion Institute Fellow Gautham Kalghatgi reports that wind and solar — now producing just two percent of U.S. energy — would have to be increased by nearly 70 fold just to meet half of the country’s needs. “Even if it is possible, given the material and infrastructure requirements and the economic constraints, the environmental consequences will be unsustainable,” he writes. For the poor of this world, any hope starts with the termination of restrictive energy policies implemented in the name of climate hysteria. Citizens should challenge these policies. For them, the plaintiffs in a recent case in the Supreme Court...

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16 (King James Version) Electric Vehicle sounds so sexy and so eart friendly, I have to have one and make Ma Earth happy with me. This is the brainwashing which is going on now 24/7/365 and could not be farther from the truth. This is just another example of the Communist PARTY saying one thing while you need to be looking just the opposite direction. Oh,...
