CNN - White House economic adviser Jared Bernstein told CNN on Sunday that President Joe Biden will pursue his climate agenda “with or without Congress,” following the news Thursday that West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin wouldn’t back climate or tax provisions in his party’s budget reconciliation package.
“I think the President is very much, and very compelled to get Congress to work with him on his climate agenda. He’s already taken unprecedented action, and I think this is important because if he can’t find a legislative path to clean energy, the urgency of the problem is so significant that, as he said on Friday, he will find an executive order and rule change path to get there,” Bernstein told CNN’s Dana Bash on “State of the Union.”
Bernstein on Sunday listed a series of steps the administration has already taken to address the climate crisis, including invoking the Defense Production Act to increase clean energy output, restoring emissions standards rolled back by the Trump administration and ramping up offshore wind energy production.
“He will continue to pursue that, with or without Congress, but the urgency of the issue, Dana, is, I think, it is beyond me how anyone could miss it,” he told Bash.

Does he think he will also do it without the Supreme Court also??? The Supreme’s have already said he has no broad regulatory CO2 mandate from Congress. Diverting the agenda to outside the EPA won’t hange that.

Sorry, I missed it. Our climate in North Idaho just keeps rolling on with ZERO visible change. This morning, we have bright sunshine, blue skies, mid 70s, low humidity, and no bugs -- it's perfect. It hasn't changed one bit that I can see in decades. Some years are hot, some cold, some wet, some dry, but it just keeps on going within the normal seasonal max and min.
Do we need special decoder rings to see the changes and urgency?
The only 'urgency' I detect is how urgently the intelligentsia can empty our pockets to further their One World Communism plan.

We are beyond simply removing leftists from office. They control the Fed.gov apparatus and security state. They will not go.
Much of the progressive institutions they depend on need to be defunded and dismantled.

They know they can’t get their international agreements passed by the Senate, so they just have executive agencies “do it.”
Executive branch departments full of bureaucrats who keep their jobs regardless of elections.
With democrat domination of the public sector, it might be time to take a second look at the spoils or patronage system that was used in the past.
Its hard to take responsibility for the way government governs when its largely controlled by democrats.
