The Bible In Paintings 2 ENCOURAGEMENT FOR APPRECIATING AND APPLYING GOD'S MESSAGE REBUILDING THE WALL N E H E M I A H CHAPTERS 1-8 The words of Nehemiah: While I was in the citadel of Susa, my brother came from Judah and said to me, “Those who survived the exile and are back in the province are in great trouble and disgrace. The wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates have been burned with fire.” When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the...

The Washington Post changed the headline of an opinion piece by Fareed Zakaria after facing intense backlash on Twitter over the suggestion that Democrats should “Forget Pronouns.” The article was first posted on Thursday with the headline, “Forget Pronouns: Democrats need to become the party of building things,” and Zakaria shared the article on Twitter with the commentary that getting “stuff done” is “a lot more important to most Americans than using the right pronouns.” Zakaria’s message was widely criticized, with many emphasizing the importance of respecting pronouns and paying attention to the needs of transgender people. Chasten Buttigieg, husband...

Here's an interesting story. Ronny Jackson is a physician. He joined the White House medical unit many years ago under President George W Bush. He stayed in that job. He went on to serve as physicians to the two subsequent presidents, Barack Obama and Donald Trump, so Ronny Jackson knows a lot about what it takes to run the country. During the 2020 presidential campaign, Jackson was home watching Joe Biden deliver a speech, and what he saw Biden say bothered him deeply as a physician. Biden had just announced that he was a candidate for the U.S. Senate. Watch....

If we were a serious country nothing like this would be allowed to happen. But we aren't, and now, here we are, sending a transgender admiral and a non-binary deputy assistant secretary to France to rub elbows with dignitaries and sport female clothing like weirdos.Posted to Deputy Assistant Secretary for Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition Sam Briton's Instagram account on July 14 was a photograph of Briton and transgender HHS admiral Rachel Levine with a caption that read: "Week 4 On The Job: Champagne and Celebration with the French Ambassador in his residence for Bastille Day. (But also the amazing...

Before leaving for the Middle East, President Biden sat down for an interview with Israel's Channel 12 News. Anchor Yonit Levi asked the president if he would use force to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. "As a last resort, yes," Biden said. I'd like to think that Biden is sincere. I hope that he understands the dangers a nuclear Iran would pose to the Greater Middle East, to Europe, and indeed to the world. A nuclear Iran would launch a cycle of proliferation and escalation in the region. Iran's nuclear missiles would be in range not only of...

VIDEOAfter shooting his mouth off and boasting that he would make the Saudi government a "pariah" during the 2020 campaign, poor Joe Biden is now forced to completely humiliate himself and grovel before the leaders of Saudi Arabia that he labeled as murderers in order to BEG for oil.

MODESTO (CBS13) — A Stanislaus County resident is demanding answers after she and hundreds of others received an official tax letter in the mail stamped with “Lets Go Brandon.” “I was surprised. I was surprised that somebody was able to access 800 pieces of mail and stamp this on, and no one stopped them,” Vicky Boese told CBS13’s Marlee Ginter. Boese got a glimpse of the stamp from a friend with the words “Let’s Go Brandon,” which became an internet meme used to insult President Biden after a reporter at a 2021 racing event mistakenly thought a crowd was chanting...

With Steve taking a summer vacation, probably just arriving in Southampton after crossing the Atlantic on the Queen Mary II, the heavy obligation of coming up with The Week In Pictures for the next few weeks has fallen on me. With help from our readers, of course, and also from family members who are more up to date on Twitter memes than I am.So here goes: as so often happens, the Bidens made it easy for us this week. Do you want hot sauce on those breakfast tacos? If so, just ask Hillary: she carries some in her purse. If...

Tucker Carlson addresses a New York Times article about Ray Epps, one of the men accused of planning the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol on 'Tucker Carlson Tonight:' "So for weeks, as you know, the January 6th committee Hass been holding hearings. They've been widely covered on the other channels. We haven't seen the news value in them. But there is a bit of news to emerge from that story and we want to get to it now. So the New York Times has written hundreds and hundreds of articles about January 6th since it happened, describing it...

Times are going to be rough, because our government has done a massive damage, an unbelievable amount of stealing and borrowing that we, ultimately, will have to pay for. The Spanish Government has announced that the cost of riding certain public trains will be cut from half-fare to zero beginning in September. This follows on the heels of Germany selling monthly public transit passes for just nine Euros ($9). The Guardian and CNN are very excited about these changes because, in the view of the conventional Left, this achieves two things: It saves the environment and it saves money. It...

The UT Chattanooga football program has fired assistant coach Chris Malone for his social media activity. On Tuesday, Malone issued a since-deleted tweet in which he referred to Stacey Abrams as "Fat Albert" and told her to "enjoy the buffet." Mocs head coach Rusty Wright called Malone's conduct "unacceptable and not any part of ... what Chattanooga Football stands for." Malone also made claims questioning the legitimacy of this week's US Senate elections in Georgia, none of which are substantiated. "Congratulations to the state GA and Fat Albert staceyabrams because you have truly shown America the true works of cheating...

It has long been my view that the whole climate scare thing will fade away and disappear once the costs and risks of the insane zero carbon agenda become clear to the voting public. As much as I’ve been deeply involved in efforts to expose the fake “science” behind the scare, the science arguments so far have had very little success in convincing anyone, particularly anyone (and this is most people) who is subject to appeals to fear. But now, over in the UK, the costs and risks of pursuing an aggressive “climate” agenda are starting to hit home. And...

Donors in California, New York, and Washington, D.C. Stacey Abrams has raised almost $50 million for her gubernatorial campaign in Georgia. Just $7 million (14 percent) of that fundraising haul came from residents of that state, however, according to an analysis by Washington Free Beacon alum Lachlan Markay. Nearly half the money raised by Abrams's campaign and leadership committee ($22.7 million) came from donors in three deep-blue states and one liberal territory that wants to be a state but never will: California ($10.2 million), Washington, D.C. ($6.4 million), New York ($3.6 million), and Delaware ($2.5 million). The result is not...

The midterms are still four months away - but the ad wars have already begun. Some of the most endangered House Democrats are hoping to inoculate themselves ahead of a potentially brutal November by going up on TV months before the typical end-of-summer ad rush. Nine incumbents in battleground seats were already airing ads by early July, according to a POLITICO analysis - and some plan to keep going straight through to November. It’s much earlier than House candidates typically start their general election advertising, and it’s a sign of Democrats’ political reality: Republican candidates and big-spending allied super PACs...

Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu has ordered Russian military units operating in all areas of Ukraine to step up their operations in order to prevent strikes on eastern Ukraine and other territories controlled by Russia, the ministry said in a statement on its website on Saturday. It said Shoigu "gave the necessary instructions to further increase the actions of groups in all operational areas in order to exclude the possibility of the Kyiv regime launching massive rocket and artillery strikes on civilian infrastructure and residents of settlements in Donbas and other regions". This is a war with many fathers, all having different goals, and one big loser: the Western way of life. There are several entities that saw a benefit in declaring war on fossil fuel: The environmentalists who are so historically illiterate that they believe a world without fossil fuels will be a bucolic paradise, rather than a Hobbesian nightmare; the leftists who want to break the West to rebuild it as a socialist paradise; the Great Reset/New World Order crowd, which envisions happy, possession-free serfs; and the Chinese, who foresee a bloodless conquest of the West which, believe me, will...
