MODESTO (CBS13) — A Stanislaus County resident is demanding answers after she and hundreds of others received an official tax letter in the mail stamped with “Lets Go Brandon.”
“I was surprised. I was surprised that somebody was able to access 800 pieces of mail and stamp this on, and no one stopped them,” Vicky Boese told CBS13’s Marlee Ginter.
Boese got a glimpse of the stamp from a friend with the words “Let’s Go Brandon,” which became an internet meme used to insult President Biden after a reporter at a 2021 racing event mistakenly thought a crowd was chanting “Lets Go Brandon,” in reference to Brandon Brown, the winner she was interviewing, but they were chanting “F**k Joe Biden.”
“This is taxpayer’s money, and they’re using this derogatory stamp to show what somebody thinks about it, and we’re paying for it. It’s just not right,” Boese continued.
County officials say the slogan ended up on roughly 544 pieces of mail. But how does a political slogan end up on official county business envelopes?
Marlee Ginter spoke with the Stanislaus County Assessor for answers.
“Our office is completely nonpartisan,” said County Assessor Don Gaekle. But, he continued, “We didn’t have anything to do with it.”
Gaekle says there was no political agenda behind the message. He says ABS Direct, a contractor, printed the envelopes in error and has since apologized. Gaekle says the county not only doesn’t condone such messages, but he says they don’t belong on official government business.
“We’re a nonpartisan government office doing the taxpayer’s business, and we apologize that this mistake offended taxpayers, and we want to make sure that it never happens again,” said Gaekle.
Boese says an apology isn’t enough.
“How could this be a printing error? It’s stamped on every envelope on the back,” said Boese. “Somebody needs to realize this was illegal, and it’s just not good.”

Oh there was no mistake about it. The reporter knew full well what the crowd was chanting, and put a spin on it.
There is no such thing as wrong or right.
No laws...no consequences.
It’s what the left wants.

Who’s to say anything is right or wrong in California?
If they ca5ch the person, what will they charge them with? Insurrection? Sedition? Espionage? How long will they be In Prison, denied bail unless they praise Biden and denounce Trump before they get a trial?
And while we're at it, LGB isn't just a slam against Bidet. If anything, it's prima facile evidence of a weaponized media willing to cover for Democrats. It's really an indictment of the MSM more than Joetato.
This is the second LGB story I saw, where there was ONE COMPLAINER at the center of the story (here is the other one). Is there some DNC memo imploring every loser to whine publicly about every instance of LGB?

Confession Time:
Just out of college I worked in aero-space for awhile, working on the Tomahawk Cruise Missile. On every drawing there was a block for “Classification”. The appropriate designation would be “Confidential”, “Secret” or “Top Secret”. I had a stamp that said “Bull Sh..” that fit perfectly in that box. I put that stamp on every drawing that came across my desk. I did it for about 3 months before anybody noticed. Somebody came into the bull pen (big room with lots of drafting boards) and said they were looking for the person that was defacing the drawings. Everybody in the room thought it was pretty funny and immediately looked at all their drawings to see what the classification was. They said they whoever was doing it was going to get fired.
I took the stamp home, worked there for another couple of months and then decided I had better things to do and quit (which is also an interesting story, but for another time).
Imagine how shocked Republicans and conservatives have been after finding out that postal workers delayed and even threw out ballots at least since G W Bush’s elections and onward. Not a fan of the obscene nature of the LGB slogan, but it hardly approaches election tampering and the betrayal our country’s principles.
Needs a bigger font, though.
