Times are going to be rough, because our government has done a massive damage, an unbelievable amount of stealing and borrowing that we, ultimately, will have to pay for. The Spanish Government has announced that the cost of riding certain public trains will be cut from half-fare to zero beginning in September. This follows on the heels of Germany selling monthly public transit passes for just nine Euros ($9). The Guardian and CNN are very excited about these changes because, in the view of the conventional Left, this achieves two things: It saves the environment and it saves money. It...

The UT Chattanooga football program has fired assistant coach Chris Malone for his social media activity. On Tuesday, Malone issued a since-deleted tweet in which he referred to Stacey Abrams as "Fat Albert" and told her to "enjoy the buffet." Mocs head coach Rusty Wright called Malone's conduct "unacceptable and not any part of ... what Chattanooga Football stands for." Malone also made claims questioning the legitimacy of this week's US Senate elections in Georgia, none of which are substantiated. "Congratulations to the state GA and Fat Albert staceyabrams because you have truly shown America the true works of cheating...

It has long been my view that the whole climate scare thing will fade away and disappear once the costs and risks of the insane zero carbon agenda become clear to the voting public. As much as I’ve been deeply involved in efforts to expose the fake “science” behind the scare, the science arguments so far have had very little success in convincing anyone, particularly anyone (and this is most people) who is subject to appeals to fear. But now, over in the UK, the costs and risks of pursuing an aggressive “climate” agenda are starting to hit home. And...

Donors in California, New York, and Washington, D.C. Stacey Abrams has raised almost $50 million for her gubernatorial campaign in Georgia. Just $7 million (14 percent) of that fundraising haul came from residents of that state, however, according to an analysis by Washington Free Beacon alum Lachlan Markay. Nearly half the money raised by Abrams's campaign and leadership committee ($22.7 million) came from donors in three deep-blue states and one liberal territory that wants to be a state but never will: California ($10.2 million), Washington, D.C. ($6.4 million), New York ($3.6 million), and Delaware ($2.5 million). The result is not...

IPray For The Peace of JerusalemGenesis 38Joseph Sold by His Brothers 12 Now his brothers had gone to graze their father’s flocks near Shechem, 13 and Israel said to Joseph, “As you know, your brothers are grazing the flocks near Shechem. Come, I am going to send you to them.” “Very well,” he replied. 14 So he said to him, “Go and see if all is well with your brothers and with the flocks, and bring word back to me.” Then he sent him off from the Valley of Hebron. When Joseph arrived at Shechem, 15 a man found him...

The midterms are still four months away - but the ad wars have already begun. Some of the most endangered House Democrats are hoping to inoculate themselves ahead of a potentially brutal November by going up on TV months before the typical end-of-summer ad rush. Nine incumbents in battleground seats were already airing ads by early July, according to a POLITICO analysis - and some plan to keep going straight through to November. It’s much earlier than House candidates typically start their general election advertising, and it’s a sign of Democrats’ political reality: Republican candidates and big-spending allied super PACs...

Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu has ordered Russian military units operating in all areas of Ukraine to step up their operations in order to prevent strikes on eastern Ukraine and other territories controlled by Russia, the ministry said in a statement on its website on Saturday. It said Shoigu "gave the necessary instructions to further increase the actions of groups in all operational areas in order to exclude the possibility of the Kyiv regime launching massive rocket and artillery strikes on civilian infrastructure and residents of settlements in Donbas and other regions". This is a war with many fathers, all having different goals, and one big loser: the Western way of life. There are several entities that saw a benefit in declaring war on fossil fuel: The environmentalists who are so historically illiterate that they believe a world without fossil fuels will be a bucolic paradise, rather than a Hobbesian nightmare; the leftists who want to break the West to rebuild it as a socialist paradise; the Great Reset/New World Order crowd, which envisions happy, possession-free serfs; and the Chinese, who foresee a bloodless conquest of the West which, believe me, will...

Milwaukee looks a lock to host the 2024 Republican National Convention after a GOP site selection panel recommended the city Friday. The GOP panel’s choice will go through a final approval process during an August meeting of the full Republican National Committee in Chicago. “Today, the Site Selection Committee voted to recommend Milwaukee to host the 2024 Republican National Convention and it is a testament to the forthright and professional behavior embraced by Milwaukee’s city leaders throughout the process. A final decision will be made by Chairwoman [Ronna] McDaniel and the full RNC in the coming weeks.” RNC senior adviser...

President Biden on Friday drew backlash for his casual greeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman upon arriving in Saudi Arabia. Biden, upon arriving at the royal palace in Jeddah, offered a fist bump to the crown prince, who U.S. intelligence officials concluded was involved in plotting the killing of Washington Post journalist and Saudi dissident Jamal Khashoggi. Critics viewed the gesture, which was followed by a face-to-face meeting with the crown prince, as elevating Salman on the world stage despite Biden’s campaign pledge to make the kingdom a pariah. Fred Ryan, the publisher and CEO of The Washington...

With the word ' fascist' tossed around promiscuously, it’s extremely important to understand the term and where fascism belongs on the political spectrum. Anti-liberty leftists generally apply this pejorative to whatever the pro-freedom right is doing at the moment, whether it makes sense or not, as in these recent examples: A ‘climate activist’ recently stated on MSNBC that the Supreme Court’s EPA ruling is ‘a judicial coup’ and ‘a clear descent into fascism’, never mind that the ruling was the exact opposite of that. Then there is the recent example of a woke Guardian US news reporter claiming that anyone...

A news article from 1996, before Sarah Palin was in politics, quotes her as an Ivana Trump fan. Palin had lined up to meet Trump, who was in Alaska promoting her perfume line. Palin recounted the experience on Thursday after news broke of Ivana Trump's death. Long before she became a staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump, Sarah Palin was a big fan of his ex-wife. In 1996, Palin was just one of many Alaskans who lined up to meet Ivana Trump, the former Czechoslovakian Olympic skier and businesswoman, according to an article published in the Anchorage Daily News...

The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot subpoenaed the Secret Service on Friday night after a government watchdog said agents deleted text messages exchanged around the time of the insurrection. Applying salutary discipline, and balancing it with necessary consolations and encouragement is never an easy task. It is possible that a parents can be too severe on their children, such that they become disheartened, and lack necessary self-esteem. But it is also possible that parents can be too lax such that their children become spoiled and lack proper self-discipline and humility. Hence Scripture seeking to balance teaching with encouragement says, Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord (Eph 6:4)Pastors too in their leadership of parishes need also to find...

This week we got more astounding numbers showing inflation continuing to surge out of control. But beyond these big-picture headlines, we’re also gaining more insight into what this economic carnage actually means for everyday people. With consumer prices rising 9.1% from June 2021 to June 2022, inflation is now at the highest level since 1981. Thanks to this inflation, workers' real wages, or wages accounting for inflation, are actually in decline, falling significantly over the last year. How’s that for “Build Back Better?” New analysis from the Heritage Foundation’s E.J. Antoni puts these figures in tangible, everyday terms. He reported...

It's not every day that a politician's gaffe perfectly encapsulates his or her party's growing separation from a community that has been a vital part of its electoral coalition. But Dr. Jill Biden made exactly such a misstep on Tuesday when she said Hispanics in the United States were as "distinct as the bogidas of the Bronx" (meaning to say "bodegas") and as " unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio." Wow. Univision spent a whole segment denouncing the speech that same day. The National Association of Hispanic Journalists responded in a tweet : “We are not tacos.”...
