President Biden on Friday drew backlash for his casual greeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman upon arriving in Saudi Arabia.
Biden, upon arriving at the royal palace in Jeddah, offered a fist bump to the crown prince, who U.S. intelligence officials concluded was involved in plotting the killing of Washington Post journalist and Saudi dissident Jamal Khashoggi.
Critics viewed the gesture, which was followed by a face-to-face meeting with the crown prince, as elevating Salman on the world stage despite Biden’s campaign pledge to make the kingdom a pariah.
Fred Ryan, the publisher and CEO of The Washington Post, called the interaction between Biden and the crown prince “shameful.”
“The first bump between President Biden and Mohammed bin Salman was worse than a handshake — it was shameful. It projected a level of intimacy and comfort that delivers to MBS the unwarranted redemption he was been desperately seeking,” Ryan said in a statement.

No one, absolutely no one, knows anything about Khashoggi’s death or Mohammed bin Salman alleged connection to it. This story is as alien to the average American as the stupid J6 committee and the media’s effort to make it a story.
How about the press reporting the myriad human rights abuses throughout the area? Nah. But kill a journalist - OMG it’s high dudgeon for years and years.

Idiot Biden painted himself into a corner early on by shooting off his mouth. Considering the quality of our “intelligence community” I have my doubts about the Khashoggi story after all anyway.

He was a Public Relations hack for the Egyptian Brotherhood, a radical Muslim group.
His journalism career began and ended with about 18 paid anti-Israel, anti-Saudi, pro-Iran, and pro-Muslim dictatorship editorials for the Washington Post, spread across about 18 months.
Khashoggi was a Muslim Brotherhood operative using “journalist” as a cover, who was dealt with inartfully by the Saudis. Convince me otherwise.
And Turkey has treated real journalists worse in the Erdogan era.
I have no idea who Khashoggi was, but I take your word for it. I’s like to see Mark Dice do one of his ‘man in the street’ interviews asking the people, “who is Khashoggi and why should we care”. No one would know.

Among other attacks on American energy independence, Biden killed the Keystone Pipeline, along with 10,000 jobs. Now he’s groveling in front of the muzzies begging for more oil.

Well, Biden is shameful for many reasons, but using a fist-bump is about the least of them.
