Concerning shortages: Michael Snyder, editor of economiccollapseblog.com, recently reported: Greece has had rationing of sunflower oil and sugar in 2022. Spain has had sporadic shortages of eggs, milk, and dairy products. Italy may soon start rationing natural gas to some large industrial users. Germany may soon start rationing natural gas to industrial users, and that could put large numbers of employees out of work. America had a recent survey that found about 60% of Americans are living from paycheck to paycheck, and layoffs are beginning to increase. The UN has warned that the world may be facing an “unprecedented global...

The Biden administration sold roughly one million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to a Chinese state-controlled gas giant that continues to purchase Russian oil, a move the Energy Department said would "support American consumers" and combat "Putin's price hike." Biden's Energy Department in April announced the sale of 950,000 Strategic Petroleum Reserve barrels to Unipec, the trading arm of the China Petrochemical Corporation. That company, which is commonly known as Sinopec, is wholly owned by the Chinese government. The Biden administration claimed the move would "address the pain Americans are feeling at the pump" and "help lower energy costs."...

HIV substantially speeds up aging at the cellular level within the first few years after acquisition of the virus, researchers at the University of California (UCLA) report in iScience. These findings underscore the importance of early diagnosis and prompt treatment of HIV. The team observed that during the first two to three years after infection, HIV-positive men’s DNA showed evidence of aging up to five years faster than a comparable group of men who remained HIV negative. Elizabeth Crabb Breen, PhD, a professor emerita at UCLA’s Cousins Center for Psychoneuroimmunology and David Geffen School of Medicine, and her colleagues concluded...

It’s not a question of whether he was right or wrong to have done so; it’s that the Pentagon always sat silently as retired senior officers abused President Trump. The headline at the New York Post told the story: “Retired three-star general Gary Volesky suspended after tweet at Jill Biden.” Unlike Hunter, Jill’s stepson, General Volesky did not call Jill a “vindictive moron” and an “entitled c**t,” with the latter being one of the most obscene, vicious insults that can be directed at a woman. Volesky’s gentle gibe, though, was enough to get him suspended from his civilian contract job...

I've had these tiny zebras in my* home all my life. I don't know where they came from, or why there are two that are identical. When my late parents' house was emptied, my sister sent these (and other things) to me. One of the zebras had suffered from a failure in packaging. I would like to repair it, but fear making a hash of it. At the very least, I would like to know the best adhesive for the purpose, and any recommendations as to method of securing pieces together while an adhesive sets or cures. Thanks in advance!...

The Democrat push to remove parents from having a say in their children’s healthcare is a major attack on the American family. No Democrat has actually said “all your child are belong to us,” but every time I read a story about the Democrat push to sever the parent-child relationship, I’m reminded of that long ago Japanese video game with the horrible translation: “All your base are belong to us.” Beginning with Lenin, all totalitarian takeovers have involved co-opting children and breaking them away from their families. We’re seeing this with a vengeance in the medical field, where children as...

VIDEOAs of this writing, if you enter "Hunter Biden" into Google search for the past 24 hours, the latest explosive revelations about him are ABSURDLY missing. This video explains why. Oh, and just for the record to avoid any such suppression of this video, I just want to stipulate that Hunter Biden is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I have ever known in my life.

IPray For The Peace of JerusalemGenesis 33Dinah and the Shechemites 34 Now Dinah, the daughter Leah had borne to Jacob, went out to visit the women of the land. 2 When Shechem son of Hamor the Hivite, the ruler of that area, saw her, he took her and raped her. 3 His heart was drawn to Dinah daughter of Jacob; he loved the young woman and spoke tenderly to her. 4 And Shechem said to his father Hamor, “Get me this girl as my wife.” 5 When Jacob heard that his daughter Dinah had been defiled, his sons were in...

An elite Brooklyn private school was forced to shelve an invasive questionnaire that surveyed students as young as 10 about their sexual orientation and their parents' political beliefs. Poly Prep Country Day School in Brooklyn, which charges parents more than $57,000 per year, disguised the questionnaire under the name 'DEIB climate survey.' 'DEIB' stands for: 'diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.' Statements included: 'Most people think that people from my racial/ethnic group are as smart as people of other racial/ethnic groups,' 'Women have fewer chances to get ahead,' and 'Teachers teach about racial inequality in the United States.' Students were required...

President Joe Biden is calling on Americans to vote for Democrats in response to the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, but polling shows abortion is not a top concern for the American electorate. "We need two additional pro-choice senators and a pro-choice House to codify Roe as federal law," Biden said on Friday when signing an executive order related to expanding abortion access. "Your vote can make that a reality. For God's sakes, there's an election in November. Vote, vote, vote." A Monmouth University poll released Tuesday asked respondents to identify the biggest concern facing their family...

As missed warning signs pile up in investigations of mass killings, New York state is rolling out a novel strategy to screen applicants for gun permits. People seeking to carry concealed handguns will be required to hand over their social media accounts for a review of their “character and conduct.” It’s an approach applauded by many Democrats and national gun control advocacy groups, but some experts have raised questions about how the law will be enforced and address free speech concerns. Some of the local officials who will be tasked with reviewing the social media content also are asking whether...

“China’s goal is not just to dominate the world, but to reduce the rest of us to subservience.” With that terrifying projection, China expert Steven Mosher has been trying to rouse America from its complacency and caution the Biden administration over its appeasement of the Red Dragon. He reads clear and present danger in a leaked video showing Chinese military commanders discussing a 90-day countdown to a Taiwan invasion. Mosher says the video is authentic, and that the Biden administration’s mixed signals on Taiwan smack of a fecklessness that will only embolden China. Other experts, too, warn of the government’s...

Former UK defence secretary Penny Mordaunt on Sunday became the ninth Conservative MP to launch a bid to replace Prime Minister Boris Johnson, as the already fractious race promptly focused on tax. Mordaunt, 49, an ex-navy reservist who has also held several senior ministerial roles, is not among the frontrunners to succeed Johnson in recent polls of Tory party members ultimately set to choose their new leader. But such contests are notoriously unpredictable, and with more than a dozen lawmakers from multiple factions of the ruling party potentially set to run, political commentators say few contenders can be discounted. The...

The astonishing thing about our departing Prime Minister is that he is so ordinary. See past the fake Edwardian growl, the artfully rumpled appearance and the little jokes and you find a rather dull person with no actual ideas or aims. He is a Bertie Wooster with a Jeeves, amusing at first but not so funny later, bound to get himself and you into impossible trouble. Some of you may remember the Scarlet Pimpernel, Baroness Orczy's fictional English hero. By day he was the apparently moronic Sir Percy Blakeney, a languid drawling top, but by night he was a ruthless,...
