“‘“. . . but deliver us from evil”’” (Matthew 6:13). If you realize the great danger that temptation poses to your soul, this petition will be a plea for God to provide a protection you can’t give for yourself. You will ask God to watch over your entire being so that in whatever you do or say, see or hear, and wherever you go, He will guard you from sin. Joseph understood that even though ungodly forces intend certain things for our evil, God can use those things for good (Gen. 50:20). But we may not react to every such...

Jesus has been given all authority and power in heaven and on earth. In John 13, he was about to be handed over to the Romans and nailed to the cross. He was preparing through his resurrection to ascend into Heaven and be seated at the right hand of God. He was perfectly in the will of God, on the verge of enacting the greatest moment in human history. However, at this critical moment, he does not give any orders. Instead, he gives an example of humility. Jesus takes a basin and washes the feet of his disciples. It was...

The police chief of the school district in Texas where a mass shooting at an elementary school took place on May 24 can assume the City Council seat to which he was previously elected, according to the city’s mayor. Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District Police Chief Pete Arrendondo was elected to the Uvalde City Council about two weeks before the shooting. He received 126 votes, or 69 percent of the total, in the election. “There is nothing in the City Charter, Election Code, or Texas Constitution that prohibits him from taking the oath of office,” Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin said...

A leading advisor to President Joe Biden on supply chains is an alum of several World Economic Forum climate change initiatives, who additionally served as a former fellow at a think tank chaired by Hunter Biden. Prior to taking over the White House’s supply chain initiative, Cremmins was a National Security Fellow and Climate Affiliate Group Co-Lead at the Truman National Security Project. The Washington, D.C.-based, left-leaning foreign policy network has featured Biden’s son Hunter Biden on its board since 2011. Archived versions of the organization’s website reveal that Biden ascended to the role of vice-chairman of the board, serving...

A police officer once told me, "You can't stop crazy." Unfortunately, mentally ill people permeate our society and are increasingly putting students and school staff members at risk. The name Laurie Dann immediately comes to mind. Laurie murdered one boy and wounded two girls at Hubbard Woods Elementary School in Winnetka, Illinois in 1957. Schools are no longer guaranteed safe havens and security protocols must must be instituted. Vigilance must always remain high. There is no magic bullet in achieving school security. Security is achieved in layers: the more layers you have the more effective security becomes. Some school administrators slap...

British mercenaries captured by Pro-Russian separatist forces of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) could be sentenced to death for conducting "combat operation," according to reports. According to Russia's General Prosecutor's Office, the British fighters identified as Shaun Pinner, 48, and Andrew Hill, 35, along with Moroccan Ibrahim Saadoun, were involved in crimes under three articles of the DPR Criminal Code: the "commission of crimes by a group of persons," the "forcible seizure of power or forcible retention of power," and "mercenarism."

On Tuesday’s broadcast of “CNN Newsroom,” White House Council of Economic Advisers chair Cecilia Rouse stated that the White House incorrectly predicted inflation wouldn’t be a long-term issue because “what we understood about inflation at the time was it was tied to the pandemic. We are still in the midst of this pandemic.” And because Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has caused economic problems. After playing clips of President Joe Biden in 2021 predicting inflation would be temporary and Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell predicting that inflation wouldn’t rise to major levels, co-host Victor Blackwell asked, “Those expectations, clearly wrong. Does...

Nancy Pelosi's husband killed his brother in an early morning car wreck 65 years before his latest arrest for drunk driving, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal. Paul Pelosi was just 16, a high school sophomore, when his sports car flipped over in February 1957 in Northern California. A newspaper report at the time said Paul, a high school sophomore, would be cited for misdemeanor manslaughter. In the end there was no court case and he was exonerated by a coroner's jury.

He was just an 18-year-old student when Russia invaded Ukraine, and within weeks had crossed the border to volunteer. Ben Atkin is the youngest known Briton to travel to Ukraine to join the war. Tonight, he tells this programme about his experiences. The Foreign Office says they don’t know exactly how many UK nationals have gone to Ukraine – or how many have lost their lives. But an investigation for this programme has heard accounts of chaos in Ukraine’s foreign legion – with claims of poor organisation and a lack of training and kit – and unverified claims that more...

I’ve been silent for some weeks. Forgive me.The truth is: I’ve been rendered almost speechless — or the literary equivalent of that — because recently I’ve had the unenviable task of trying to announce to the world that indeed, a genocide — or what I’ve called, clumsily but urgently, a “baby die-off” — is underway. The WarRoom/DailyClout Pfizer Documents Research Volunteers, a group of 3000 highly credentialled doctors, RNs, biostatisticians, medical fraud investigators, lab clinicians and research scientists, have been turning out report after report, as you may know, to tell the world what is in the 55,000 internal Pfizer documents...

A highly disturbing video has emerged showing the man who shot up a Texas Elementary School last week holding up a bag of blood-soaked dead cats. The video shows the 18-year-old Latino shooter who murdered 19 children smiling while holding up the bag, according to video footage obtained by the New York Post, which was so graphic that the publication had to blur out the bag.

“The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg argued on Tuesday that the AR-15 should be banned nationwide following a shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, earlier this month that left more than a dozen children and two adults dead. “Listen, this AR-15’s got to go,” Goldberg said during a discussion on gun control during Tuesday’s show. “I don’t care, NRA. You’ve got to give that gun up. You can have your other yeehaw guns, whatever you want. But the AR-15 is not a hunting gun. It is not a gun where you’re going to go out and shoot your dinner.”

UVALDE, Texas (AP) — The blame for an excruciating delay in killing the gunman at a Texas elementary school — even as parents outside begged police to rush in and panicked children called 911 from inside — has been placed with the school district’s homegrown police chief.

A group was enjoying a day at a Florida golf club when this gator decided he had to get in on the action. It happened Sunday at Plantation Bay Golf & Country Club in Ormond Beach, according to Mike Harb, who shot the video. Harb says in the beginning the gator just had the golf ball in his mouth, and briefly spit it out, before once again snatching it up. The group walks towards the gator as the reptile walks further away from them. "Chase him closer to the hole that way, just have him drop it in the hole,"...

Six months ago, state officials couldn’t have been happier as the U.S. Department of Transportation regularly announced billions of additional dollars that would be available for road and bridge projects. Now, with rampant inflation and problems getting basic materials like concrete and asphalt, especially for overnight work, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation officials say they are concerned that the federal windfall may not have nearly the benefit they expected. Cheryl Moon-Sirianni, PennDOT’s district executive for Allegheny, Beaver and Lawrence counties, said last week that low bids for contracts have been coming in 10% to 20% higher than the department anticipated. Among...

f it hadn’t been obvious before, it’s long since become a basic reality that those shouting loudest about “threats to democracy” are the threat. Attorney General Merrick Garland warned about threats to democracy in the U.S. and abroad in a commencement speech at Harvard University on Sunday. “Threats to democracy in the U.S. and abroad” is a convenient way to connect external and internal opposition, and thus use counterintelligence and other tools meant to be deployed against foreign adversaries against Republicans. We know this is true because this is what Obama/Biden has done. And we’re not just talking Trump Russiagate....

A video circulating on social media over the weekend shows a group of people brutally beating an Asian man inside a lower Manhattan subway station. The video, which appeared to be filmed at the Fulton Street station, showed the man being pummeled by two men as a third holds him up as if a human punching bag. One of the men rounds up and slaps the man in the face. His body appears to go limp until a second man delivers a round of punches to his head. The group cheers and applauds the beating.

James Biden on Tuesday said it was “offensive” to be called the Biden family “fixer,” as President Joe Biden labeled him in 2021. Speaking with the Washington Post for a few moments before hanging up the phone upon the advice of his wife, James Biden described his role in the family business as “the guy who assists in everything.”

Biden said there was a chance for compromise on gun control with "rational Republicans" such as McConnell, R-Ky., and Cornyn, R-Texas, during remarks to reporters Monday, though he warned that there is not much he can do on his own through executive action. (snip) But Biden expressed optimism that some Republicans may be willing to take his side on the issue after McConnell directed Cornyn to attempt to work with the White House on a potential compromise, arguing that some members of the GOP believe that the current gun violence cannot go unchecked.
