On Tuesday’s broadcast of “CNN Newsroom,” White House Council of Economic Advisers chair Cecilia Rouse stated that the White House incorrectly predicted inflation wouldn’t be a long-term issue because “what we understood about inflation at the time was it was tied to the pandemic. We are still in the midst of this pandemic.” And because Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has caused economic problems.
After playing clips of President Joe Biden in 2021 predicting inflation would be temporary and Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell predicting that inflation wouldn’t rise to major levels, co-host Victor Blackwell asked, “Those expectations, clearly wrong. Does the White House acknowledge that it got it wrong for too long?”

Went shopping this morning at several (four) stores. The number of people wearing masks, including young kids, is on the rise. It is truly depressing how easy it is for the government to coerce people into believing they are going to die or get violently ill if they don’t wear a mask. Even local temperatures in the mid-90s here in Central Texas is not enough to convince these people to forgo the masks. Forecasts have us in the low-100s starting Sunday. I bet the masks stay. Ugh.
The Democrats plan to solve any problem:
Assign blame.
It’s no longer a pandemic. It’s endemic now.
The administration is admitting that they are wholly unqualified for their positions, have irrational marxist leanings, don’t know what a woman is (without consulting a biologist) and are dumb as a bag of rocks
What pandemic?
Exacerbated, not exasperated.
