Voters appear to be rejecting mail-in ballots, with data from early primary states showing significant decreases in Americans relying on the voting method for the 2020 election. The figures come from a new Associated Press report, which noted that “voters in early primary states are returning in droves to in-person voting this year.” In Georgia, which was a hotbed of voter fraud during the 2020 election season, roughly 85,000 voters had requested mail ballots for the May 24th primary. This was down from the nearly 1 million voters who used vote-by-mail in the state’s 2020 primary at the height of...

The Biden regime announced on Wednesday they hired Michael Chertoff, another Hunter Biden laptop truther to lead the government’s Disinformation Board. Chertoff has worked as an attorney at Covington & Burling. Chertoff is the co-author of the Patriot Act that allowed the federal government to spy on its citizens. Michael Chertoff was a board member of a website Alliance for Securing Democracy that claimed it was tracking Russian disinformation during the Trump years. Its real purpose is to smear websites supportive of Donald Trump and his accomplishments as Russian propaganda. In this venture, Chertoff and his colleagues labeled The Gateway...

Netflix's layoffs earlier this week, which saw 150 employees go, had targeted many 'social justice warriors' who were working on projects about anti-racism and marginalized communities in an apparent purge of 'wokeness' from the company. The struggling streaming service has pulled the plug on several projects that were aimed at discussing race to a young audience, Variety reported, and axed the diverse employees working on and promoting them.

On Wednesday, Republican Congressman Thomas Massie was the only member of the House to vote ‘no’ on a resolution that condemned rising antisemitism. His vote had nothing to do with tolerating hate. This didn’t stop many from instantly and eagerly jumping to this conclusion. The bill asks that social media “institute stronger and more significant efforts to measure and address online antisemitism while protecting free speech concerns.” Politicians dictating to social media and other platforms how to operate is a problem for anyone who still cares about free speech. But that’s not all. As Reason’s Christian Britschgi observed, the “resolution...

The form has appealed to major poets for five centuries The University of Salford, a public university in Greater Manchester, England, removed sonnets and other “pre-established literary forms” from a creative writing course assessment, The Telegraph reported. Course leaders of a creative writing module titled “Writing Poetry in the Twenty-First Century,” removed an exam section that required students to write the traditional forms, including sestinas and sonnets, according to the newspaper. The sonnet, a poetic form that likely originated in Italy in the 13th century, has been taken up by writers such as Petrarch, Shakespeare and John Donne, according to...

Sweden, Finland, NATO, and Turkey by Peter Zeihan on May 20, 2022 Most NATO members have met Finland and Sweden's joint application for membership with open enthusiasm. The US, UK, France; even the Italians and Greeks are cheering, in a rare moment of pan-European positivity. But not the Turks. Long kept at arm's reach from EU-membership (including by self-appointed human rights stewards like the Swedes), Ankara is going to savor its ability to make Sweden and Finland's ascension process be as much about Turkey's needs as it is about Russia. The Turks aren't just being spiteful for spite's sake. Turkey...

Former President Donald Trump criticized Fox News on Saturday, complaining the outlet will not "show or discuss" Dinesh D'Souza's documentary 2000 Mules concerning allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election. "Fox News is no longer Fox News," Trump posted on his TruthSocial account. "They won't even show or discuss the greatest & most impactful documentary of our time, "2000 Mules." The Radical Left Democrats are thrilled - They don't want the TRUTH to get out." Trump's gripes echoed those of author and conservative political commentator D'Souza, who on Monday accused Fox and Newsmax for not providing coverage of...

Microsoft search engine Bing censors terms deemed sensitive in China from its autosuggestion feature internationally, according to research from Citizen Lab. The University of Toronto research organization analyzed the search engine's autosuggestion system for censorship of nearly 100,000 names in the United States, Canada and China in both English letters and Chinese characters. Testing was done by modifying region settings, language setting and IP address geolocation. Microsoft responded to a notification from Citizen Lab, and called [PDF] the lack of autofill terms a "technical error" and said they'd resolved the issue. The Citizen Lab group claims it found that censored...

This is exactly the kind of routine hostility we can expect for students all over the country if Biden successfully writes ‘sexual orientation’ and ‘gender identity’ into the meaning of ‘sex’ in education. Braden Rabidoux had no idea how his life was about to change when his mother got a call from his school principal. Braden, an eighth-grader in Wisconsin’s Kiel Area School District, was the subject of a sexual harassment complaint and investigation, the principal told her. “I was like, ‘What? Sexual harassment? What are you talking about?'” Braden’s mom, Rose Rabidoux, recalled to The Federalist. “Because when I...

The miseducation of algorithms is a critical problem; when artificial intelligence mirrors unconscious thoughts, racism, and biases of the humans who generated these algorithms, it can lead to serious harm. Computer programs, for example, have wrongly flagged Black defendants as twice as likely to reoffend as someone who's white. When an AI used cost as a proxy for health needs, it falsely named Black patients as healthier than equally sick white ones, as less money was spent on them. Even AI used to write a play relied on using harmful stereotypes for casting. Removing sensitive features from the data seems...

The Jersey Shore is not known for having cliffs on its beaches, but after a storm wiped out a massive amount of sand, some cliffs as tall as 6 feet were left. And one town won't be able to open beaches in time for the unofficial start of summer. With the unofficial start to summer quickly approaching and AccuWeather meteorologists forecasting temperatures in the 90s for areas along the East Coast this weekend, the summerlike weather is bound to make many people eager to grab their towels and head to the beach, but one part of the beach on the...

Britain's monkeypox outbreak has doubled in size as Sajid Javid, the Health Secretary, confirmed the discovery of a further 11 cases on Friday. Two cases were reported on Thursday, taking the total number to nine, but health authorities said that the number had more than doubled on Friday to 20, leading to fears that the virus is spreading through the country unchecked. As a result of the rising number of cases, ministers have ordered more stocks of the smallpox vaccine, which is being offered to people who may have been exposed.

James Baker’s testimony yesterday in United States v. Sussmann proved devasting to the former Clinton campaign attorney both in substance and in circumstance. Former FBI General Counsel James Baker felt responsible for dragging his friend Michael Sussmann “into a maelstrom,” yet remained “100 percent confident” that Sussmann had claimed, when providing Baker the Alfa Bank “intel,” that he was not there “on behalf of any particular client.” Baker’s testimony yesterday in United States v. Sussmann proved devasting to the former Hillary Clinton campaign attorney both in substance and in circumstance. The indictment charged Sussmann with violating Section 1001 of the...

WASHINGTON (AP) — Nina Jankowicz, like so many millennials, was excited to share a social media post announcing her new job on Twitter late last month when she was named executive director for a new disinformation board established by the Department of Homeland Security. But instead of well-wishes, Jankowicz’s tweet set off a torrent of sexist profanities across social media and menacing emails filled with rape or death threats that continue to follow her even after she resigned from that new job on Wednesday morning following the disastrous rollout of the program. It’s a familiar scenario. A crush of online...

"And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. "In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. "And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall...

Deon D. Jenkins knew he wanted to be the president of the United States as an elementary school student in the Bay Area. At that point, there had never been a Black president. Jenkins kept his dream quiet. He said he wanted to go into hip hop or the National Football League, where he thought he could make a difference through speech and protest. “A white little boy can say ‘I can be the president one day’ and not be seen as a someone with a pipe dream,” Jenkins said in an interview. “But if a Black little boy says...
