A century after its fraught foundation, Northern Ireland looks set for a constitutional earthquake this week with the pro-Irish party Sinn Fein on course to win regional elections. Apart from periods of direct rule by London, pro-UK unionists have monopolised power ever since Britain carved out a Protestant-majority statelet in 1921, when the rest of Ireland achieved self-rule. But pollsters expect victory on Thursday for Sinn Fein, which was once the political arm of the paramilitary IRA, in polls for the devolved assembly in Belfast. The party took the deputy leadership in a power-sharing deal with unionists when Northern Ireland...

IPray For The Peace of JerusalemRevelation 18Lament Over Fallen Babylon 18 After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven. He had great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor. 2 With a mighty voice he shouted: “‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!’[a] She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal. 3 For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of...

Democrats are pushing student loan forgiveness hard currently, gaining momentum with resident Joe Biden saying he supports it. I’m buried in law school loans, due to the left canceling my legal career so I can no longer make a high income as a lawyer. I put off having children because of the huge debt, never ended up having any, and I work multiple jobs and don’t own a home. But that’s not something taxpayers should be responsible for rectifying. There are many sad stories about financial problems that are far more sympathetic, so why should we select primarily affluent, white...

New Hampshire is getting close to passing a reform of current carry restrictions. The current law restricts the carry of loaded handguns on off-road vehicles, including snowmobiles, to those with a carry permit. The law is a relic of the days before New Hampshire passed Constitutional Carry in February of 2017, five years ago. On March 10, 2022, the New Hampshire House passed the bill easily, 204 to 134, with 54 not voting. HB 1636 reforms the law to remove the carry permit requirement for carry of loaded firearms on off-road vehicles. On April 20, 2022, the bill passed the...

The decennial census came out in 2020, and now, as the 2022 elections approach, we are in redistricting season. The gerrymanderers are out in force, fighting for advantage in every Congressional and state legislative race nationwide. For many decades, gerrymandering battles often got fought in the federal courts, where the side that had come out on the short end in the legislature would argue for redress under the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment of the federal Constitution. In 2019 a 5-4 conservative majority of the Supreme Court substantially ended that game in a case called Rucho v. Common...

DERANGED tyrant Vladimir Putin shed his geeky image with the help of steroids and extensive plastic surgery to become the brute he is today. Pictures from through the years show the 69-year-old Russian President's transformation from skinny and wrinkled to bloated and bulky, which experts have claimed is down to his expensive procedures. As Putin's finger rests on the nuclear button, and his troops bombard Ukraine, the extent of his apparent vanity has been laid bare. Yesterday, former foreign secretary Lord Owen claimed Putin's aggressive Ukrainian invasion was down to his taking steroids, with the medical doctor saying changes in...

The French government has announced the creation of a new digital identity app for citizens to access private and public services, in line with a broader push for digital identity systems in Europe. Just days after the re-election of globalist President Emmanuel Macron, the Ministry of the Interior has announced that it will be crafting a smartphone application to house a new digital identity. The biometric app, which is based off the new identity card, was signed off in a decree by Prime Minister Jean Castex and Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin on Tuesday. The app will allow users to scan...

"Two Russian Raptor-class boats were destroyed at dawn today near Zmiinyi (Snake) Island," Chief of General Staff Valeriy Zaluzhniy says. Unverified drone footage released by the Ukrainian military appears to show two ships being targeted by Bayraktar drone missiles from the air while on patrol in the Black Sea. The footage has been shared by the Ukraine Ministry of Defence on social media channels.

MORA, N.M.—Firefighters in New Mexico failed on Friday to pin back the flames of the United States’ largest wildfire, which is burning perilously close to a string of mountain villages. The blaze is the most destructive of dozens in the U.S. Southwest that are more widespread and burning earlier than normal in the year. Thousands of people in the Mora valley, about 40 miles northeast of Santa Fe, prepared to evacuate as smoke billowed from a forest around the nearby farming community of Ledoux.

When the Taliban, loaded with guns and firepower and riding on the promise of “peace, stability and unity,” took over Kabul in August last year, few at the time believed the militant group’s seizure of power marked a transition from war to peacetime stability. Fast forward eight months, the Taliban’s fractious regime is far from stable, either politically, economically or geostrategically. The poor economic situation, with the country careening towards widespread famine, is only one side of the Taliban’s problem. Emerging power centers within Afghanistan pose a direct challenge to the Taliban’s claims to be the only representative party or...

A massive drought-starved reservoir on the Colorado River has become so depleted that Las Vegas now is pumping water from deeper within Lake Mead where other states downstream don’t have access. The Southern Nevada Water Authority announced this week that its Low Lake Level Pumping Station is operational, and released photos of the uppermost intake visible at 1,050 feet (320 meters) above sea level at the lake behind Hoover Dam. “While this emphasizes the seriousness of the drought conditions, we have been preparing for this for more than a decade,” said Bronson Mack, water authority spokesman. The low-level intake allows...

“Go pee on the rhubarb!” Engineer Fabien Esculier has never forgotten his grandmother’s unconventional approach to gardening — in fact, it has inspired his career. Human urine may seem like a crude way of fertilising plants in the era of industrial agriculture, but as researchers look for ways to reduce reliance on chemicals and cut environmental pollution, some are growing increasingly interested in the potential of pee. Plants need nutrients — nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium — and we ingest these through food, before “excreting them, mostly through urine”, said Esculier, who runs the OCAPI research programme in France looking...

Every American has a moral and legal right to be judged based on his or her individual merits. The future happens first” in California, it’s long been said, and, as it tries to actualize that axiom, the Golden State has been laboring mightily of late to pioneer new ways to discriminate in favor of protected classes like women, racial and ethnic minorities, and people in the LGBT community. Granted, all such discrimination is illegal and unconstitutional in California and nationally, but that’s never stopped the state’s Democratic overlords before, and it isn’t going to stop them now. It’s official, therefore:...

What’s up guys I am here to talk about 3 little RINOS and there shenanigans while they stab conservatives and there country in the back with this vote. Guys this is just proof of why you have to vet the ppl you vote for but I’m also here to correct another take that was made yesterday from Ana Navarro who once again found a way to lie. https://www.deseret.com/utah/2022/4/4... https://apnews.com/article/ketanji-br... https://www.sltrib.com/news/2022/04/0... https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCKkW8k... here is the channel I got the video from which focuses more on the Justice herself and my video focuses more on the lying pos Romney. I’ll leave the...

We have seven more months before the midterms. Expect more disinformation ministries, censorious czars, and hack grandees to emerge. The Biden Administration feels that it must now use federal resources to attack “disinformation.” So the Department of Homeland Security recently announced the creation of a “disinformation governance board.” The board’s executive director, Nina Jankowicz, at least has clear qualifications for the post. She previously had spread false rumors on social media that Donald Trump voters would show up at the polls in 2020 armed, and joined the mob’s chorus that Hunter Biden’s laptop was “Russian disinformation.” Perhaps the idea behind...

The Republican Party is on the verge of a massive victory in the midterm congressional elections. American voters are utterly disgusted with the disastrous Biden administration. resident Joe Biden, his cabinet of progressive misfits and the congressional Democrat leadership have made everything in this country much worse in the span of just fifteen months in power. Most importantly, our economy is in shambles. Biden inherited a strong economy that was recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of building on President Donald Trump’s successes, Biden moved in the opposite direction. Massive spending bills were passed which added trillions of dollars to...

“For as Alexander Hamilton pointed out in the Federalist Papers nearly two centuries ago, A power over a man’s subsistence amounts to a power over his will.” – Henry Hazlitt This week, Donald Trump’s favorite Latino food supplier, Bob Unamue, CEO of Goya Foods, spoke of an impending food shortage that we should all start to see by this summer. As a byproduct of fertilizer shortages emerging from the Russian/Ukrainian War, food suppliers are tamping down expectations of food availability later this year. It is yet another indicator of a global economy on the retreat. If you’ve followed my writing...
