  • White House claims approval polls don't matter and Biden CAN win in 2024: Chief of Staff Ron Klain points to French President Emanuel Macron's reelection with just 36% approval rating

Biden's low poll numbers have some Democratic operatives concerned that he could drag down the rest of the party in November's upcoming midterm elections. Last week a Gallup survey placed the president's approval rating at 41 percent, lower than all of his post-World War II White House predecessors save for Donald Trump. But in more bad news for Biden, recent head-to-head matchup polls have found him trailing his Republican rival in a 2024 rematch. The president 'wants to run and he’s clearly letting everyone know,' sources told The Hill. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said during a Sunday Meet The Press...

As food uncertainly lingers on the horizon thanks to US sanctions and government decimation of the economy during the past two years, there is another factor contributing to the problem. Since the beginning of the year, there have been several very large food processing facilities that have exploded or burned to the ground across the U.S.

Pfizer recalled one of its hypertension-treating drugs after it was found to have an increased presence of an impurity that can cause cancer. Five lots of Accupril (Quinapril HCl) tablets have been recalled due to a presence of a nitrosamine above the acceptable daily intake level. Increased intake of nitrosamines can increase the risk of cancer over long periods of time. Those currently taking the affected Accupril tablets are not at any immediate risk and Pfizer is not aware of reports of adverse events related to the recall. The product lots were distributed nationwide to wholesalers and distributors in the...

In 2014, the number of black American murder victims was 6,095. Then, after the August 2014 killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, anti-police protests and riots began, federal officials and mass media sympathetic to rioters brought heightened scrutiny to police practices, BLM began its career, "broken windows" policing was curtailed, and police morale plummeted. The number of murders thereupon began to surge, never to return to 2014 levels. The "excess" murder victims from 2015 through 2020 who were black -- that is, the additional black victims each year beyond the 2014 baseline -- add up to 11,005. Compare that...

This piece was co-authored by Mr. James Hop and Mr. Jared La Rue.Milton Friedman determined the root cause of inflation to be government monetary policy and famously opined: "inflation is always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon that is produced only by a more rapid increase in the quantity of money than output (goods, services, and/or assets).” A 1976 Nobel Prize winner in Economics for his pioneering work on monetary policy, inflation, and the business cycle, Friedman established a strong correlation between excessive government spending and monetary policy, its over-stimulation of the U.S. economy and the economic contractions that followed. Unfortunately,...

Over the last several years, Davidson College’s inhospitality to freedom of thought has caught the attention of concerned alumni. Among other concerns, a group of alumni was deeply dismayed by the campus’s lack of support of, and sometimes even hostility towards, open inquiry and free expression. In 2018, these alumni formally organized themselves into an independent alumni group named the Davidsonians for Freedom of Thought and Discourse (DFTD). DFTD “seeks to ensure that a core value of Davidson is free inquiry, not indoctrination in any ideology or political viewpoint.” Since the group’s founding, the free speech climate on campus has...

On Wednesday, the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) announced that it had arrested three individuals on charges of spying for the Israeli intelligence service, Mossad. The identity of the persons in question or the evidence that led to allegations against them were not revealed. Vulnerable political parties or authoritarian regimes that lack an agenda for prosperity and development have always invoked foreign boogeymen, in that they are useful to blame for one’s failures. For example, In 1980, the mullahs provoked their western neighbor into war and used the “the divine blessing”— as former Supreme Leader Ruhollah Khomeini put...

After one-third of the horrific term of resident Joe Biden is almost complete, the United States of America is facing a series of mind-boggling crises. The Biden administration’s COVID-19 response focused on forcing Americans to wear masks and take vaccines. The President pushed mandates and lockdowns, instead of freedom. The toll on our economy, overall health and psychological well-being has been staggering. This week, in their commitment to continue these policies, the administration refused to abandon the unnecessary and ridiculous mask mandate for public transportation and will appeal a federal judge’s sensible ruling striking down this unpopular mandate. There is...

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said Russia’s military capabilities should be degraded after he and Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky and announced more U.S. military aid to the country. “We want to see Russia weakened to the degree that it can’t do the kinds of things that it has done in invading Ukraine,” Mr. Austin said Monday after the highest-level visit of U.S. officials to Kyiv since Russia invaded Ukraine on Feb. 24. Mr. Blinken said: “Russia is failing, Ukraine is succeeding.” In what could be a significant escalation of the conflict on Monday,...

Isn't it?Just think about it: a small chunk of ice or dirt revolving around the sun.Same as the facts that I have here.Interesting facts about comets:1. The first comet was observed long ago around 500 B.C. by a Greek philosophers. 2. Many Scientists think that comets were leftovers from the early development of our...
  • Woke Democrat Denial About Midterms

It is amazing to watch Democrats in complete and utter denial that they are going to lose the House, and likely the Senate, in the upcoming midterm election. It appears that some have convinced themselves that they still have a chance to save their majority this fall if they just double down on Wokeness. It is amazing and fun to watch. One thing that Democrats, and Republicans for that matter, can’t avoid is history. The history of midterms dictates that the party in power loses seats in the first midterm election of a new president. The American Presidency Project compiled...

Batman battles numerous supervillians, but none is more clever than the Riddler, the best criminal mastermind in Gotham City. The Riddler has no superhuman powers, but he excels at creating elaborate riddles, puzzles, and traps that constantly fool and evade Batman and the police. Now in the real-world state of Georgia, dear FReepers, there's a taxpayer fraud scam so ingenious and intricately woven that it's likely the work of a gang of Riddlers. Indeed, the schemers have spun their crime to the public as a great commercial success — which, of course, has only fueled the fraud's growth. The fraud...

@julie_kelly2 Today begins the 4th trial of a J6 defendant. Jury selection starts this morning. Thomas Webster is a NYPD cop who got into an altercation with a DC cop that day. Webster wants to argue he was acting in self defense against excessive force. Unfortunately, Webster's judge is Amit Mehta, who ruled the jury cannot hear from a woman who was knocked over by same cop and what prompted Webster's confrontation. In FBI interview, Webster said he saw this cop assaulting people for about 10 minutes before he intervened:
