On Ukraine, the neo-isolationists of the right are fighting the last war. [cut] It is certainly true that Bush administration foreign policy became much too idealistic, bordering on otherworldly, over time. That doesn’t mean that, in reaction, we need to jettison all moral discernment in foreign affairs. Yes, Ukraine is a corrupt and ramshackle democracy, but there can be no doubt about its superiority to Vladimir Putin’s venal dictatorship, or about Russia’s culpability for launching a hideous war of aggression. To say otherwise is to ignore all the relevant distinctions in this conflict — between who is the aggressor and...

*** Even setting aside their recently revealed support for destroying human happiness through sexual chaos, Disney’s products push a lifestyle that doesn’t reflect my goals for family life. I don’t want my kids taught to be whiny brats whose biggest lesson to learn is that all authority figures are dumb or evil. That’s a main message of almost every major Disney property, and it’s very bad for kids. Other destructive and pervasive Disney messages include that men (especially dads) are stupid and bad, women can do no wrong, women need to validate themselves by beating people up more fiercely than...

Nice work here by Meduza to corroborate the satellite imagery published by the New York Times a few days ago. Russia claims that the now-famous scene of corpses lying out in the open on Yablonska Street in Bucha is Ukraine’s handiwork, a false-flag murder spree by Ukrainian forces after the Russians withdrew on March 30. Not so. Many of those bodies were there and visible from the sky before March 30. The Times used satellite footage but Meduza got hold of drone footage from late March. (snip) Now that Bucha’s survivors are free to speak to reporters, stories are emerging...

Special counsel John Durham’s team on April 6 asked a federal judge to force Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and two other parties to hand over documents they claim are protected by attorney–client privilege.John Durham speaks at a conference in New Haven, Conn., on Sept. 20, 2018. (Courtesy of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Connecticut),/B>The campaign, the Democratic National Committee (DNC), and research and intelligence firm Fusion GPS appear to be withholding documents that aren’t actually protected by the privilege, Durham’s team said in the filing, entered in the case against ex-Clinton lawyer Michael Sussmann. Of the withheld...

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Ninth grader Harleigh Walker, 15, spends her time after school like many girls her age: doing homework, listening to Taylor Swift, collecting records and hanging out with friends. But this year, her spring break also included trying to persuade members of the state House and Senate to reject legislation banning gender-affirming medications for transgender kids like her under 19. She was unsuccessful. On Thursday, Alabama lawmakers passed the measure, and Gov. Kay Ivey signed it into law on Friday, meaning Harleigh’s doctor would face prison time if she continued to prescribe her testosterone-blocking drugs. “Honestly, I’m...

Just weeks after the school mask mandate was lifted in California, Los Angeles County is seeing an increase in school coronavirus outbreaks, health authorities said Thursday. There were 14 school outbreaks reported in the county in the seven-day period ending April 5, including 12 at elementary schools and two at high schools, according to the L.A. County Department of Public Health. “We’ve more than tripled the number of new outbreaks at schools this past week, and we’re seeing similar numbers of outbreaks to what we experienced during the omicron surge,” L.A. County Health Director Barbara Ferrer warned.

For years, a Disney-owned and operated Caribbean cruise line was operating a ‘snorkeling tour’ kids to Jeffrey Epstein’s renowned “Pedophile Island.” For kids aged 8 and up, a day trip to Little St James, sometimes known as “Pedophile Island” by locals, cost $60 to $75.The Disney Cruise did not warn parents that Epstein’s renowned island was owned by the notorious billionaire pedophile, describing it as “sun-soaked.” Rather, the literature spoke of “curious fish” that “dart back and forth in the beautiful blue water.”

International Man: Whether we like it or not, the reality is, the Federal Reserve has an enormous influence over the dollar and the stock market. And right now, the Fed has an urgent and fateful decision to make. It can keep printing trillions of dollars, let inflation skyrocket or tighten monetary policy, and watch the stock market crash. In other words, it can sacrifice the stock market or the dollar. David, what do you think the Fed will do, and what are the implications?David Stockman: Well, I think whether it wants to or not, the Fed will crash the stock...

If Governor Ron DeSantis was expecting an apology, hopefully he wasn’t holding his breath. This week marks the one-year anniversary of the botched “60 Minutes” hit piece that served as a seminal moment in the current contentious relationship between a large swath of America’s left-wing media and conservative politicians. In the “60 Minutes” segment from April 2021, they presented a “bombshell” report accusing Governor DeSantis of showing favoritism toward Publix for COVID distribution in exchange for their political support. The problem with the segment was that it used deceptive edited video footage to help orchestrate CBS’s false narrative attacking the...

A growing list of high-profile Democrats are coming down with COVID-19 just as President Biden and party leaders are set to roll back public health precautions designed to combat the highly contagious virus. The rash of positive cases — which has hit both members of Congress and prominent figures in the administration — is not so much a health concern for the affected policymakers, who all say they’re vaccinated, boosted and showing no symptoms that might require hospitalization.

Ask anyone you know—preferably someone who hasn’t been gaslighted into submission—to take a look at the above reference page/teaching tool, Communism at “Peace.” It seeks to do the impossible, and that’s teach communism’s enormity via the human face, as well as the astronomical death count. It’s in 4 languages, hopefully it’ll be seen in Latin America and Africa as well as the U.S. We’re in a struggle…and Karl Marx is the head of the snake.

French President Emmanuel Macron once again referred to the criticism made by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. "The Polish prime minister is an extreme right-wing anti-Semite banning LGBT people," said the French president. He further pointed out that Morawiecki was "covered by the European procedure because he had arbitrarily dismissed many judges." "He supports Marine Le Pen, whom he has hosted several times. Let's not be naive, he wants to help her before the elections," Macron said. Earlier, in an interview with the French TV station TF1, he accused Morawiecki of "interfering in the French election campaign" being "supported by the...

Family Research Council Action (FRC Action) is arguing in an ongoing lawsuit that President Joe Biden’s “authoritarian” air travel mask mandate is “no longer warranted” because of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) decision to roll back Title 42. Title 42, first imposed by former President Donald Trump, grants a broad authority that allows federal immigration officials to quickly return border crossers and illegal aliens to their native countries. The CDC announced on April 1 that Title 42 will end on May 23, though Biden officials have admitted ending Title 42 would likely lead to a wave of...

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said Friday on ABC’s “The View” that “he’s right” when asked if he agrees with his husband Chasten Buttigieg’s quote that the “Don’t Say Gay” law “will kill kids” while discussing Florida’s recently passed “Parental Rights in Education” law. Co-host Ana Navarro said, “The first thing I want to say is I am so sorry that you have become the butt of jokes by some really stupid, stupid people when it comes to your paternity.”

Global food prices jumped to a new record high, soaring the fastest on record, as the conflict in Ukraine unleashed food supply shocks across the world. “The current conflict between Ukraine and the Russian Federation is increasing the risk of a further deterioration of the food insecurity situation at global level,” the FAO said in a recent food insecurity assessment (pdf). March’s food price index from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) printed 159.3 points in March, up 19.15 points from February, when it had already reached record highs. The index was up 33.6% from the...

CORNVILLE, Ariz. - A javelina on the hunt for a midnight snack got a little more than it bargained for when it jumped inside an open car in a small Arizona town. The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said a deputy responded to a report on April 6 of a javelina stuck inside a car at a home in Cornville. "When the Deputy arrived at the scene, there was a Subaru Station Wagon containing a wild javelina stuck inside," the sheriff's office said. After speaking with neighbors and the owner of the Subaru, the deputy learned that the javelina jumped inside...

A recent study suggests that warming oceans are increasing the speed at which sound travels, ultimately making underwater noises louder. The world’s oceans have absorbed more than 90 percent of the excess heat that humans have produced in recent decades, causing them to rapidly warm. And in these warmer waters, sound waves are able to travel faster and farther before fading out, making the ocean a noisier, louder place. This could be especially troubling for large mammals that rely on sound and use techniques like echolocation for communication and sensing their environment. Using publicly available global data, the researchers calculated...
