Following a trial at Southwark Crown Court, Boris Franz Becker was convicted of four counts against the Insolvency Act 1986. He will appear for sentencing on 29 April 2022
During proceedings, the court heard that Boris Becker was made bankrupt on 21 June 2017 in the High Court following a petition from Arbuthnot Latham & Co, a private bank.
Boris Becker was legally obliged to disclose all of his assets so that his trustee could distribute available funds to his creditors.
The former tennis player, however, failed to disclose, concealed and removed significant assets from the Official Receiver and his Trustee in Bankruptcy.
Assets concealed included €426,930.90, which was transferred to several third parties, a property in Leiman, Germany, and 75,000 shares in Breaking Data Corp.
Boris Becker’s failure to disclose all his assets led to his discharge from bankruptcy being suspended indefinitely. He is also subject to a 12-year Bankruptcy Restriction Undertaking, effective from 17 October 2019.
Chief Executive of the Insolvency Service, Dean Beale, said:
Today’s verdict confirms that Boris Becker failed to comply with his legal obligation to declare significant assets in his bankruptcy.
This conviction serves as a clear warning to those who think they can hide their assets and get away with it. You will be found out and prosecuted.

Boris Becker of year 2022 is always in trouble! Everytime I read about him now, he is on the verge of declaring bankruptcy for the umpteenth time or getting sued for millions.
I firmly believe there is a special breed of people who thrive off of getting and remaining in a state of panic or chaos.
And all this time I thought Mark Spitz selling vitamins was the lowest of the low.
“I firmly believe there is a special breed of people who thrive off of getting and remaining in a state of panic or chaos.”
You just defined my mother-in-law.
Constantly in a state of panic, separation anxiety from others, and worrying about her Hollywood heroes being exposed as pedophiles.
Nevermind Ukraine and the food supply or our gov’t. Will Smith’s slap is much more earth shattering.
Methinks he’s simply a (financial) attention whore, understands that many are stupid/easily manipulated now, and perhaps a few minutes in the spotlight, or in front of a camera where one can whine, will throw a few “shillings” his way.
I have seen that recent cable TV commercial with Mark Spitz.
Physically, he has barely aged. Won’t really matter. I don’t recall that much about Mark, except for some reason, a lot of show people didn’t seem to like him back then.
>>Hollywood heroes being exposed as pedophiles.
Speaking of which, here’s an interesting item.

” I don’t recall that much about Mark, except for some reason, a lot of show people didn’t seem to like him back then.”
I recall seeing him on talk shows, variety shows, and the like after he won all those gold medals in ‘72. He was very wooden on camera - lacking in personality and charisma.
Our wives may be sisters.
LOL!
Only if your MIL calls 5 times a day or more.
worse! She’s at my house 3 days a week... albeit, I have a bunch of little kids she helps out with... I actually like my MIL, but dayum... she can be super kooky.
What's amazing is how quickly some of those gifted greats fall to ignominy or to weird, underfed poverty. If I ever get really rich again (ha) someone get me in the gym every day and slap me around some.
If you like her and she’s good with the kids that’s a big plus.
Mine loves to give advice but can’t even balance a checkbook. It’s difficult to be polite sometimes when you deal with somebody like that.
Time for a sister in law (wife’s sister) story.
—She bought her first house (she is single, small house) and forgot to measure the garage. She was shocked to find out post closing that her vehicle could not fit in it.
—Meanwhile, her advice for us when she visited was that we should clean up our dog’s poop with a scooper and plastic bag. (He was pooping in a state forest across the street—we live deep in the boonies...) I was not polite. I told her that bears pooped a lot in those woods, and there was no way I was cleaning up their mess.
;-)
Your SIL’s story might take the cake.
That’s hilarious.
With folks like these, the jokes write themselves often.
I wonder when they will wake up. In addition what they will think if they do wake up.
