Grand Rapids. Mich. (WOOD)--While the jury in the governor kidnapping conspiracy trial has deliberated in room in downtown Grand Rapids for four days, the nearby federal courtroom has been mostly empty, except for relatives of the suspects. Families of Daniel Harris, Brandon Caserta and Adam Fox have sat on the wooden benches on the "defense" side of the sixth-floor courtroom of Chief U.S. District Court Judge Robert J. Jonker, some working on word puzzles, all waiting for any word, brought together by the alleged deeds of their sons or brothers. Barry Croft Jr, who is from Delaware, is the only...

The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky delivered a live public broadcast urging all western nations to quickly adopt so called “green energy policies” which he says will undermine the influence of Russia in Europe. In the new video Zelensky urges the NATO alliance, specifically western Europe, to quickly adopt the WEF’s “Build Back Better” climate change agenda as it helps his country. He advocates for “Green Energy” as a top priority so that NATO alliance members are not reliant on Russian energy sales. Zelensky’s proposal to stop the war is basically so-called Green Energy. It seems a bit odd, doesn’t it?...

When you’ve read the news items below you might be tempted to think that the world is now being controlled by people who are totally insane. I couldn’t possibly comment. Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan, warned people planning to vote against him in elections that they risked social disgrace. And he warned that no one would marry their children. A driver was fined £1008 after a cyclist fell off her bike. The motorist had driven past her – leaving as much space as he could and the cyclist was not hit by the car. An official said that motorists should...

A Bitcoin for your thoughts? Globalist Pippa Malmgren said the quiet part out loud at the World Government Summit when she stated that soon the world will be using âdigitalâ currency, which will be âsovereignâ and record âevery single transaction.â Malmgren said, âMost people think that digital money is crypto and private, but what I see are superpowers introducing digital currencyâthe Chinese were the first, the US is on the brink.â Ah, yes, the Chinese Communist Party, which is committing ethnic-based genocide and using a social credit score to prevent political dissidents from functioning in society! Makes sense why Malmgren...

In a landmark ruling, a federal district court has ordered the U.S. Department of Defense to end a longstanding Pentagon policy forbidding enlisted military service members from deploying in active duty outside the continental United States and being commissioned as officers if they have HIV. Supporters hailed it as overdue legal affirmation that people receiving effective antiretroviral treatment for HIV are essentially healthy and pose no risk to others. The judgment topples one of the nation’s last major pillars of HIV-related employment discrimination. Federal law has for decades barred employers from discriminating against people with HIV under the Americans with...

The speech prompted a Catholic watchdog group to protest the event as antithetical to the Pittsburgh-based private Catholic university’s identity. The March 3 event was sponsored by Carlow’s Atkins...

ROME – Pope Francis said that international organizations, such as the United Nations, have proven to be useless in stopping violence and atrocities in the war in Ukraine. Speaking on Wednesday about the massacres in the recently freed city of Bucha, on the outskirts of Kyiv, the pope denounced the “increasingly horrendous cruelties [that] are also committed against civilians and defenseless children. They are victims whose innocent blood cries out to the heavens and implores: Put an end to this war, silence the weapons, stop sowing death.” Speaking about his trip to Malta last weekend, he said the Mediterranean nation...
