A new coronavirus variant that could be the most transmissible yet has been identified in the United Kingdom.
The variant, known as XE, is a combination of the omicron subvariants BA.1 and BA.2. It was first detected in the U.K. on Jan. 19, according to the World Health Organization, though it has since been reported in India as well. As of late March, roughly 600 cases of it were identified.

It’s interesting and of course should be logged and monitored for molecular virological epidemiological research.
But it’s of no more importance than the current strain of flu or cold virus.
It shouldn’t be presented as something scary or ominous or dangerous.
It will shoot across the Atlantic, probably it will be here in a few minutes. Then it will stall out and create havoc here until November 8. Then it will vanish when all the absentee ballots are counted.

My wife and I have absolutely been exposed. Neither one of us has been sick since the whole thing started. We do take supplements daily.
My daughter had it and we were around her for a couple days before she knew she had it. She’s always been prone to strep and we were looking down her throat to check. She complained about having a headache and was running a low fever. She was fine the next morning, but lost her sense of taste and smell for a couple weeks.
By the time she found out one of her friends tested positive, we already knew.
Too bad it never made production. I have a F-type that I’m almost too arthritic to drive.

Well, when you’re not up to driving it, and need someone to blow the cobs out, I might be the guy to call.
Spreads even easier? That’s GREAT news! That’s how viruses mutate. They mutate towards spreading easier, while at the same time, mutate AWAY from lethality. So, when you hear that this NEW variant spreads 10x easier than the last one, just remember, it’s probably 10x less deadly as well.
I think a lot of Korean gamers haven’t gotten up from their computers since 2017. :)
