Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo condemned Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Sunday for "playing footsie" with white nationalist Nick Fuentes, who hosted a conference she attended on Friday. "Associating with anti-Semitic neo-Nazis is not consistent with the conservative values I've defended for decades. Representative Taylor-Greene playing footsie with Nick Fuentes and his splinter movement is shameful," Pompeo tweeted. On Friday, Greene attended a white nationalist conference in Orlando, Fla. organized by Fuentes, a far-right podcaster who has made multiple antisemitic remarks. Greene later claimed to not know Fuentes's views and said she only attended to "talk to the...

A brazen but goofy Florida shoplifter was caught on video awkwardly stealing a crossbow by stuffing it down his pants. Darren Durrant could be seen on security footage in the aisle of a True Value store in Mims on Feb. 6 trying to stuff the large Ravin Rio bow in the front of his sweatpants, which barely hold around his hips and do little to hide the bulge. The handle of the crossbow is visible poking out of the waistband as the shoplifter makes his getaway, the video shows. Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey called the alleged thief “one of...

The Curiosity rover took a picture of something pretty enticing this week on the surface of Mars. While the object in question looks like a tiny little flower or maybe even some type of organic feature, the rover team confirmed this object is a mineral formation, with delicate structures that formed by minerals precipitating from water. Curiosity has actually seen these types of features before, which are called diagenetic crystal clusters. Diagenetic means the recombination or rearrangement of minerals, and these features consist of three-dimensional crystal clusters, likely made of a combination of minerals. Curiosity deputy project scientist Abigail Fraeman...

President Joe Biden's approval rating hit a new low of 37 percent in a poll released Sunday that also showed 10 percent more American adults would prefer Republicans control Congress than Democrats. More than half – 55 percent – of adults disapprove of Biden's job so far just days before the president is set to deliver his first State of the Union address. Seven percent say they have no opinion. Of the 37 percent who approve, only 20 percent say they 'strongly approve' while of the 55 percent disapproval, 44 percent strongly disapprove, according to the new ABC News/Washington Post...

Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus is not calling for peace in Ukraine, and the fact that some in the Western media seem to think he has done so is evidence of how much the West has to learn about Orthodox Christianity, church-state relations in Russia, and Kirill himself. The first time the leader of the Russian Orthodox Church spoke after Russian troops entered Ukraine (but before fighting had officially begun) was during the commemoration for Defender of the Fatherland Day (known, before 1993, as Red Army Day) when Kirill offered a long, nationalist sermon in which he described...

Conservative Christian show host Stew Peters says what he wants to say. His bluntness combined with a willingness to call out pretty much anyone has not endeared him to Establishment Republicans. Other true conservatives think his “tone” is too harsh. But those who listen to him regularly and appreciate his shocking style can’t get enough of him. At the America First Political Action Conference, AFPAC, running at the same time as CPAC (or Queer PAC, as he calls it), Peters went after Republicans and conservatives who he believes are not doing anything productive. They spend their time trying to “own...

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko tonight issued a chilling threat that the West's sanctions on Russia are pushing the Kremlin into a Third World War, after Vladimir Putin put his nuclear deterrent forces on 'alert'. Lukashenko's comments came as Kyiv and Moscow agreed to hold peace talks at the border with Belarus - though Volodymyr Zelensky admitted he wasn't confident of a positive resolution, adding that he owed it to his people to at least try and engage. This evening also saw the EU unveil a fresh package of sanctions against Putin's regime, closing off its airspace to all Russian planes...

When Cardinal George Pell was falsely imprisoned three years ago today, few people spoke up. An exception was Craig Kelly who was then a parliamentarian in the Morrison government. Kelly went on national television the next day to say that it was a "grave miscarriage of justice". Subsequently the High Court Of Australia overturned the conviction 7-0. Since then Mr Kelly has resigned from the Liberal Party lead Morrison government to lead the United Australia Party in the fight for freedom. He is what traditional Australia loves to call "a good bloke."

Ukraine’s capital of Kyiv is now fully “encircled” by Russian troops — leaving no way out for millions of citizens facing “a humanitarian catastrophe,” Mayor Vitali Klitschko said Sunday. The former heavyweight boxing champ told The Associated Press that it was now impossible to evacuate the city “because all ways are blocked.”

“‘Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied’” (Matthew 5:6). For the Christian, the object of hungering and thirsting is growth in sanctification, which is a crucial mark of the genuine believer. No one who follows Christ attains complete sanctification until heaven, and to claim otherwise would be the height of presumption. Thus saints in this life always need to strive for more holiness, which will be seen in their lives through obedience to the Word. Paul prayed that the Philippian believers might “abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment,...

Since Russia began its aggressive actions against Ukraine, Russian officials have accused NATO of a series of threats and hostile actions. This webpage sets out the facts. Top Five Russian Myths Debunked Myth 1: NATO promised Russia it would not expand after the Cold War Fact: Such an agreement was never made. NATO’s door has been open to new members since it was founded in 1949 – and that has never changed. This “Open Door Policy” is enshrined in Article 10 of NATO’s founding treaty, which says “any other European State in a position to further the principles of this...

Will the Russian military go on strike because of the events in Ukraine? In some ways they have ALREADY gone on strike. The typical Russian soldier has NO motivation to go above and beyond the call of duty. Instead they are doing the least needed to just get by. An example of this was in a video I saw of a Ukrainian driving his car up to a Russian tank that had run out of fuel on a country road. He had sort of friendly banter with the Russian tanker and even some joking around. It was very obvious that...

When we shared yesterday that all interested observers should be very wary of the information from media sources around Ukraine, there was a reason for that. Question everything. Take nothing at face value. If you have never experienced the propaganda push surrounding war, the totality of the inbound bullsh*t can be destabilizing, overwhelming and unnerving. It’s one of the reasons why CTH doesn’t share immediate information. Everyone has an agenda. Everything we are seeing in U.S. media surrounding U.S. interests in Ukraine is a massive propaganda operation with the headquarters in the U.S. State Department and U.S. intelligence community. The...

Zelenskyy, reportedly' asked Bennett on Friday' if Israel could serve as a mediator between Russia and Ukraine. On Sunday afternoon, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett by telephone. Bennett reportedly offered to serve as a mediator in the war in Ukraine to de-escalate tensions and bring fighting to an end. The Kremlin has not commented on whether Putin accepted Bennett’s offer. The call with Bennett then raised yet more questions. Might Putin be looking for a diplomatic way out of the war in Ukraine, and thus might be inclined to accept Bennett’s offer? Or is...
