Chris Cuomo isn’t likely to get much more than half of the $18 million he’s seeking as a settlement in his feud with CNN now that Jeff Zucker has resigned, The Post has learned. Zucker fell on his sword in an effort to keep a possible Cuomo lawsuit against CNN from seeing the light of day, sources told The Post. The ex-CNN chief was named multiple times in a draft of a suit, which hasn’t been filed, sources said. Zucker’s resignation came as part of an agreement hammered out with AT&T chief John Stankey, sources say. Under the agreement, Zucker...

Bishop Robert Barron’s Disturbing Musclemen Fetish is a Scandal by ItselfJared Zimmerer Executive Director of Word on Fire MinistryLike many Catholics I was starting to follow Bishop Robert Barron and started buying his Word on Fire materials. He was spending millions to become a “social media superstar”, and his popularity was growing rapidly. But I was quite troubled to see his behaviors and the people around him when I first met him in person in October of 2017. (We will discuss his heretical messages at another time). For some reason that is leading to a scandal, Barron is always surrounded by...

Its the same all over the WESTERN world as sovereign yields are starting to rapidly rise. (Bloomberg) — European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde is no longer ruling out an interest-rate hike this year, a pivot toward the tightening stance of global peers that officials privately see materializing with a shift in policy guidance as soon as next month. Investors brought forward bets on ECB action as the monetary chief delivered surprisingly hawkish comments citing unexpected record inflation data, contrasting with an earlier statement on Thursday that kept intact its formal view that price increases will ease. She spoke after...

Corey Lewandowski, a relic of the Trump administration, said that he’s on a mission from the former President to field quality candidates against New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R) and Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH). Trump had given him two jobs in his home state, Lewandowski said Wednesday on the Howie Carr radio show. “One is making sure we’ve got a great candidate in the U.S. Senate race up here in New Hampshire who can beat Maggie Hassan, another failed, hack, Washington, DC politician who’s never delivered,” he said. “And the second is potentially finding someone to run against Chris Sununu,...

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer made a sizable error Thursday when he claimed that the Supreme Court was made up of all white men before 1981, when Ronald Reagan tapped Sandra Day O’Connor as the first woman to join the high bench. Schumer (D-NY) had been giving remarks on the Senate floor defending President Biden’s stated intention to choose a black woman to replace the retiring Justice Stephen Breyer, calling it “historic.

When U.S. President Joe Biden accused Facebook of "killing people" by spreading vaccine lies in July, many experts and researchers hoped it marked the beginning of a White House battle against a flood of misinformation about the coronavirus pandemic coursing through the United States. Six months later, the deluge of misinformation continues and entities combating harmful information want the White House to do more. COVID-19 deaths recently hit their highest in almost a year, with over 2,600 people dying on average each day. U.S. studies show the unvaccinated are dying at much higher rates than those with jabs and boosters....

Video footage of a woman chained up in a shed in a village in eastern China has hit a nerve just as the country heads into Lunar New Year celebrations and triggered online calls for better protections for women and the mentally ill in rural parts of the country. The woman, identified by authorities in Feng county in Jiangsu province by her last name, Yang, is a mother of eight, married to a local man surnamed Dong. Mr. Dong had come to the attention of Chinese social-media users through earlier videos depicting him as a hard-working father taking care of...

Just as you thought the 2020s couldn't get any more dystopian, we are now witnessing the enthusiastic embrace of corporate censorship by the Left in the name of combatting the nebulous scourge of "misinformation." Joe Rogan, the most popular podcaster in the English language, has found himself at the center of a firestorm of progressive ire, from scientists to celebrities to rock legends to White House spokespersons acting in their official capacity, all for the crime of allegedly spreading dangerous misinformation and endangering public health. This absurd pushback is not new; progressives and outraged "experts" have been anxiety ridden for...

[R]ates of suicide by overdose among 15- to 24-year-olds rose, as did those for 75- to 84-year-olds. These deaths fall into the same pattern of "deaths of despair" also linked to accidental overdoses and suicide by other means... "Both of them are likely driven by the same isolation and lack of mission," Volkow said it's likely the COVID-19 pandemic has added to the problem. "As this pandemic goes on longer and longer, we're going to see more of that," said Koslow. "In general, we need to be concerned about these deaths of despair."

Crows in Sweden are being trained to pick up cigarette butts that are littering the streets. In Södertälje near Stockholm, the birds are being recruited to help with this persistent waste problem. A device designed by startup Corvid Cleaning rewards crows with a small amount of food for every butt they bin. It provides positive reinforcement that encourages these intelligent birds to repeat the behaviour. Crows can do jobs, share knowledge and even mourn their dead. Some studies suggest that they could be the smartest animals on the planet besides primates with a level of reasoning equal to a seven-year-old....

Bishops Ordering Vaccines For Catholic School Children Are Imitating The Priests Of Moloch In light of the call to take a stand against Archbishop Lori's tyranny in forcing Covid vaccinations on Catholic school children, I now publish Cardinal Gregory's push to do the same. First, let me remind you that all Covid vaccines were made (in differing fashions) utilizing the bodies of babies murdered in abortion. That is, anyone taking said concoctions is participating in the results of the murders of children. That is cooperation with sin. The two Maryland prelates are forcing school children under their care to...

Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds (R) announced on Thursday that the state's Public Health Disaster Emergency Proclamation for COVID-19 will end in February. “We cannot continue to suspend duly enacted laws and treat COVID-19 as a public health emergency indefinitely. After two years, it’s no longer feasible or necessary. The flu and other infectious illnesses are part of our everyday lives, and coronavirus can be managed similarly,” Reynolds said in a statement.
