Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer made a sizable error Thursday when he claimed that the Supreme Court was made up of all white men before 1981, when Ronald Reagan tapped Sandra Day O’Connor as the first woman to join the high bench.
Schumer (D-NY) had been giving remarks on the Senate floor defending President Biden’s stated intention to choose a black woman to replace the retiring Justice Stephen Breyer, calling it “historic.

With the Left, corrections to erroneous statements they make are not important. Putting out their lies for everyone to see is of paramount importance. Some significant portion of the receivers will take it as gospel going forward and act upon it. Corrections won’t matter because spreading the lies in the first place had no immediate, negative repercussions. The damage or advances from acting on their deceptions are what matter to them.
