Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping are meeting Friday in Beijing on the eve of the Winter Olympics.
Ukraine, a non NATO country, is telling the Biden Administration they do not want U.S. Troops there and Russia is not doing anything.
Germany and France said they will not go to war in the Ukraine against Russia.
Looks like Russia and China may team up. Guess the Biden Administration thinks protecting another country's borders half way around the world, risking possible nuclear conflict, will help rally the American people around him for the next election?
How about try protecting the U.S. Mexican border instead?

Could be he’s just there for the Olympics....he’s big on sports in general. However having a meeting with XI is noteworthy. Lets see if it happens. The world stage is certainly moving about and things can change.
China’s President Xi ‘s first first face-to-face meeting with a world leader in nearly two years on Friday when he hosts Russia’s Vladimir Putin. I suspect he’s there for the Opening of the Olympics as well.
Xi and Putin will meet in the Chinese capital before their nations release a joint statement reflecting their “common views” on security and other issues,.... a top Kremlin adviser said at a Wednesday press briefing.
The two will then attend the Olympic opening ceremony on Friday evening.
It’s said that nation leaders set to enjoy Xi’s hospitality during the Games ....include Egypt’s Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Saudi Arabia’s Mohammed bin Salman, Kazakhstan’s Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Poland’s Andrzej Duda.
In total around 21 world leaders are expected to attend the Games but the US is boycotting them over china’s human rights.
According to the Guardian.....”The Kremlin is embarking on the rare foreign visit with a docket of 15 contracts and agreements it wants to sign with the Chinese leadership, including a joint statement that will “reflect the common views of Russia and China on key global issues, including security issues”.
Which does coincide with their joint press briefing afterwards. So I’ll be expecting something that will certainly shake up US politicians....and the media will run with it.
Putins also taking his gas people with him so likely to do with the oil pipelines as well.
