The “Freedom Convoy” protesters came to Canada’s capital to make history. And they will — just not for the reasons many of them are imagining. This is not the start of a popular uprising that will shake the Canadian government to its core, put the prime minister in jail, make the Senate and Gov. Gen. Mary Simon the supreme authority of the land, bring an end to all vaccine mandates and other COVID-19 restrictions, and kickstart a libertarian revolution of absolute rights without social responsibility...

Austria’s vaccine mandate law will take effect on February 1, 2022. Despite the evidence that the “vaccine” does not protect people from Covid but increases the chances of infection from Omicron and hospitalization, last week, the Austrian Parliament approved mandating the experimental mRNA gene therapy injections. From mid-March, the law will see adults (residents aged 18 and older) who refuse the jabs subjected to steep fines and potential prison time. The vaccine order is expected to remain in force until January 2024, with the government investing €1.4bn in measures designed to target the unvaccinated and get them jabbed. A majority...

Premier Scott Moe is announcing the end to the proof of vaccination in Saskatchewan and Lloydminster will come February 28th. In making his submissions, Moe indicated he is listening to the people of the province. “People are asking their government for a return to normal. A removal of public health restrictions and we most certainly are looking at how we can do that in the weeks ahead here in Saskatchewan. And now I think in fairness, it is time for us as a government to do what Saskatchewan people are asking for.” While the public health order is set to...

Goldberg’s comments confirm how historically illiterate and morally vacuous wokeness has become.Whoopi Goldberg’s claim that the Holocaust was not about race has got to be the dumbest thing said on a TV show since Whoopi Goldberg said Roman Polanski’s rape of Samantha Geimer was not ‘rape-rape’. Though of course Goldberg’s inflammatory comments about the Nazis’ extermination of European Jews, made on her show The View yesterday, are far worse. They confirm just how thoroughly the woke politics of ‘intersectionalism’ and the feverish obsession with ‘whiteness’ have distorted people’s understanding of racial hatred and of anti-Semitism in particular. They confirm that...

Prelates call for unified effort in the fight against climate changeCatholic leaders in the Philippines have vowed never to accept donations from exploitative industries such as mining as part of their efforts to fight climate change. The vow came in a Jan. 28 pastoral letter issued by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP). They said that church leaders should lead by example in fighting for a greener environment. “We continue to suffer in an increasingly warming world with an ailing biosphere triggered by exploitative practices that benefit the wealthy few but cause poverty and hunger to many,” the...

It’s a Dutch re-treat. Manhattan’s elite Collegiate School set up a special task force and spent three years debating its “Dutchman’’ mascot and motto — then issued a 400-page report that’s a lesson in wokeness-run-amok, critics say. The Herculean effort at PC reform led the $60,000-a-year Upper West Side school to not only drastically alter its playful, winking mascot image — but also toss “God” from its motto and even “A.D.” from its seal, deeming both potentially offensive.

NEW YORK – About two weeks ago, when a gunman took four people hostage at a synagogue in Colleyville, Texas, a handful of volunteers at nearby Good Shepherd Catholic Community Church fostered an organized, orderly, and safe environment for the hostage families, religious leaders, media, and others inside of the parish. These unsung heroes of the day, known as “guardians,” were more than just volunteers. They were lay parishioners trained in handling emergency situations at the church, part of a unique diocesan wide “Guardian Ministry” program in the Diocese of Fort Worth. The program recruits, trains and screens parishioners from...

Dr. Anthony Fauci was told in a secret teleconference that the CCP virus had very likely leaked from a laboratory in China, yet still pushed the alternate narrative that it had originated naturally, new evidence allegedly shows. Redacted emails that were recently made public suggest that Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), initiated efforts to cover up evidence pointing to a laboratory leak as the origin of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, which causes COVID-19. Evidence suggests that Fauci also actively shaped a highly influential academic paper first published on Feb. 16, 2020,...

Roaring Camp Railroad is known for its holiday and beach train rides to the Boardwalk and through Redwood Forests in Felton. Now the operator of those excursions is concerned they could come to a screeching halt. "What I want to get out is that Roaring Camp Beach Train is really not being threatened," said Santa Cruz County supervisor and Regional Transportation Commission member, Manu Koenig. The RTC Commission is considering a process called reverse abandonment. It could remove Roaring Camp's right to use the line to transport freight which the company fears could ultimately put them out of business. "It...

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell broke with former President Trump on Tuesday, saying that he does not believe individuals who pleaded guilty to crimes related to last year’s violent Capitol Hill protest should have their sentences shortened. "One hundred and sixty-five people have pleaded guilty to criminal behavior," the Kentucky Republican said when asked about Trump’s recent suggestion that he would issue pardons for the Capitol Hill rioters if he were re-elected as president. "None of the trials have been finished yet, but 165 have pleaded guilty to criminal behavior. My view is, I would not be in favor of...
