While we cannot confirm the exact cause, a data analyst believes he knows the general area it came from. Using about six surveillance videos from all across the city, he calculated how long it took the sound to reach each person's home. All of his findings intersected in one spot. "I think it...

On February 1, 2020 had somebody asked you to pick the country whose citizens would mount a mass protest against government tyranny that would spark a worldwide movement, and which country would zoom from freedom to tyranny in something like zero to sixty in three seconds,Note: you can’t play this as it has, of course, been taken down.I’ll bet your pre-lockdown answers would not have been, respectively, Canada and Australia. The new rule was introduced by the Western Australia government, not the supermarket chainNote bene: Australia’s dictates have nothing to do with “health.” This mechanism is intended to reward compliance and punish...

Watching half of our fellow Americans accept and engage in such irrational behavior (not to mention sometimes hysterically enforce it, as myriad social media videos attest) not only depresses the rest of us; it frightens us. That more than half of our country willingly obeys completely irrational orders raises the question: What irrational orders from the state would they not obey?

Just got a robo-call that for the usual credit card phishing scam (push one to speak to a human). Hung up of course. But the new wrinkle is it identified itself as "Alexa" and had a voice to match. I guess they think people will be more responsive to Alexa than to some generic sexy voice?

My first post in this three-part series, about how the evil that surrounds us has manifested, was about the elite global technocrat class and their distance from the people whose lives they may crush; I noted too their lack of belief in, or loyalty to, the nation-state. Added to this toxic mix, I argued, is the certainty of this class of people that they know best about your life. I made the case in that essay that surrounding us now was a metaphysical, seemingly a Satanic, level of evil. I am seeking to explain in this series of essays, how...

Source: Townhall Media/Julio RosasA video showing an altercation between Border Patrol agents and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) leadership in Laredo, Texas, is making rounds on social media. The interaction was seen as unprecedented, and the optics were disastrous for DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz. This video, however, is just the tip of the iceberg. Spats among frontline workers and Biden’s DHS leadership are a widespread, recurring pattern with no end in sight. The latest video from Laredo reveals a major problem: The employees of the nation’s largest federal law enforcement agency do not have...

Advice and consent for Supreme Court nominees is among the most important roles executed by the United States Senate. Those who are appointed to the federal bench have a generational impact on our society, and ensuring those individuals are respectful of our Constitution and the intent of the founders could not be more vital to our republic. In recent years, it has been a profound disappointment to see how Senate Democrats have politicized and denigrated this important confirmation process. They turned what used to be a nonpartisan duty into a partisan circus, attempting to defame and attack any individual nominated...

75 Swiss francs is all that it cost for one savvy Swiss individual to exploit a loophole in Swiss retirement regulations to retire one year earlier and receive even more lavish benefits than he would have received had he remained a male on paper. Thanks to a new law, Swiss citizens are allowed to change their sex on paper without needing to provide any documentation from a doctor or physician. All it takes is 75 francs and a desire to be referred to as a man or a woman. Well, as it happens, retirement benefits in certain Swiss states differ...

What if all nine Supreme Court justices were white women? Or black men? What if they were Hispanic? Or Asian American? Or Jewish? Would that rightly reflect our nation? Would it even feel right? Of course, if the only qualified justices were all white women or black men or Hispanic or Asian American or Jewish, we would have no choice. But assuming that was not the case, by our design and our intent, how diverse should the Supreme Court be? Speaking in favor of resident Biden’s promise to nominate a black female justice to the Court, Senator Lindsay Graham said...
